Happy Stitching! Lisa : )
I must have needed to hear your words today. I am in my 3rd diagnosis of breast cancer. I am in remission, and my lab results are drifting in the wrong direction for a few months. I got a call from the oncology office on Tuesday stating my doctor would like to see me on Thursday. As you may know, this often is a precursor to bad news. I couldn't sleep and turned on your flosstube and heard your words of your personal hints of recurrence and thinking positive. I will walk into my appointment this afternoon with the confidence of hearing good news. Thank you!
🙏❤️🙏
Hi Kary! I wish you so much love and happiness!! No matter what happened at your appointment, be happy to wake up today and do something you love. ❤ stay positive and keep hope in your heart ❤❤❤❤❤
Hi! I vote charcoal. It'll look great. Keep your positive mindset & continue to enjoy every day. That's what i've done since Jul 2022 when i was knocked back out of the blue. I am so grateful i have my faith and support team. My journey has been awesome so far. The stitching keeps the mind busy & it feeds our creative drive!
Lisa it would be stunning in charcoal! Hope you had an amazing time at Stitch North! I absolutely love watching your videos, see you soon!😊
i think you are very brave , sweet, funny, You can do anything with god by your side. Continue to do what makes you happy, give all your worries and struggles to god and let him help you,, I love your floss tubes. i hope you continue making them. I think your stitching is beautiful.. god bless you
Really appreciate how you support local businesses and share the info to us as well. I already knew Jen (cute as a button) and Alex (Florals&Floss) but it’s fantastic to find more. The Stitching Corner is great, they helped me figure out my first few non-kit projects
I like the charcoal choice. Have fun at Stitch North. I always finish your videos with a smile on my face, your kindness and enthusiasm are infectious. Sending you all positive thoughts and prayers. owl, star, bee
I’m so so hoping there’s nothing to worry about in that scan. My friend is battling myeloma. I can’t believe how much the medical professionals can do to combat this awful monster. So have faith! Keep the positivity going. It’s difficult when facing trials and tribulations. But you seem to be fighting this with a smile. Love your videos. Great ideas on the Adopt-a-WIPs. And your homemade gifts are just so so beautiful and generous. Thx for sharing your lovely stitching.😊 Let us know the results of your scan if you care to share. You’re being prayed for.❤️
You are the storm, dear Lisa. I always keep you in my heart. I think I like the charcoal.
Lisa you are amazing and courageous. I pray that you get good news on your scan. You inspire me to keep on trying my hardest to do my best. I just can not imagine what you are going through, just keep your spirits high and your faith in god he’ll get you through this. I think of you often and my prayers will always be with you. I always look forward to your videos. I think you should bite the bullet and stitch on the charcoal, your floss colors will pop more. Bees, faith, hope. Have a great week.
Those colors will POP 🎉 on the charcoal. It may be out of your comfort zone, but it will hopefully open your eyes to the world of darker fabrics! It is a beauty of a design. Love your channel and admire you greatly.
I so enjoy your flosstubes. Thank you for sharing and putting yourself out there. You are such an inspiration! I love your stitching. I agree, our tastes change over time and that's okay. I feel that the items we pass on were meant to go to that person and we were just the vehicle to make it happen. You are a blessing to so many! We're here for you - remember that when you have tough days.
Floss can save the world and fix the problem! 😂 ❤❤❤ that needs to be made into a needle minder or even into a Crosstitch! Yes please!
Hi Lisa ~ I truly believe that what you send into the lives of others always comes back to your own. You send out so much gratitude, inspiration, courage, and love to all of us. We are upholding you, especially during the unknowing and surrounding you with love and support!
Lisa, enjoying your floss tubes. You are a joy to watch. I think you should stitch the garden on charcoal. I would like the owl or star.
Well… I think if you’re gonna put yourself out there and challenge yourself, go with the charcoal!👍🏻
Another great video!
In watching your previous episodes, you have chosen dark threads to stitch with so I think the charcoal is my vote. The owl pattern is my favorite. A new quote...floss can save the world! Faith
Thank you so much Lisa for your videos. I pretty much binge watched all of them, and look forward to new ones. You got me started cross stitching ❤. Thinking of you and your journey. Wish you all the health and happiness to you and your family ❤
Hi my love….I watch your videos over and over….I stitch listening to you. Love you.
Oh yes❣️❣️❣️❣️🥰🥰🥰. My birthday is July 31st also. A bit older though😂😂😂😂😂 almost 71. Love your sweet spirit. You lift my spirit. Will be praying for you.
Hi Lisa! Lovely to see you again. Stress is such a powerful thing affecting our health, have been through plenty myself and my advice to you is continue doing what brings you joy and don't let what you think you need to do dictate otherwise. Joy is so hard to find these days. I hope you enjoy yourself at Stitch North. You are such a giving and loving person, and deserve every ounce of happiness you can grab. Sounds like your daughter is doing great in college and the pride you feel in both your kids shows every time you mention them. Your stitching progress is wonderful. I love how you tackle such large pieces and make good progress on them. The thank you card is absolutely gorgeous! I really enjoy Laura's @LalaDee Stitches channel as well. Her enthusiasm and laughter is so contagious. Little Wren is a really cute pattern. Great haul overall. You are such a blessing to this community. Happy stitching.
Your projects are beautiful. I am stitching currently on Mirabilia Nightingale, started this project in honor of my retirement from nursing this year. I am sending you virtual hugs, positive vibes ,prayers to you! Have fun at your retreat🙂
Lovely episode as always. I so enjoy your videos and love your stitching but also your wonderful energy and beautiful kind soul. Sending you love, hope and courage from the UK ❤
Hey - how are you my friend? Thanks for saying hi out loud, love your WIP and updates - wishing you a calm heart for your next appointments, how good to have such good health staff in your corner. I was back stitching tonight while listening to you, about halfway done with backstitching my Japanese Garden. I’m off to a retreat tomorrow, can’t wait! Have a lovely weekend - love Nic x
Lisa, really hope you are having an awesome time at Stitch North this weekend. As a fellow East Coaster, my heart sings when I hear you say “tour”- your accent sings in those moments. I know that it can take a lot of tenacity to keep an optimistic mindset but you my dear are shining in this space. Your are in my thoughts as you navigate the coming weeks. Warmly, Gayle.
Charcoal. Bee 🐝. I hope too always have faith. Love your videos. Happy Stitching 🪡
Lisa thank you for your openness and courage in sharing your life with us. I am a retired RN from radiation oncology and have always be in awe of those people that I’ve had the privilege of taking care of through their cancer journey… how they have been a blessing in my life. I will be praying for your heart, soul and mind in the coming days and weeks ahead. Chin up… you’ve got this! My vote is for the charcoal fabric it’ll be gorgeous. Owl,star, bee, faith and hope. Also, I love your blouse on today’s floss tube you look lovely ☺️
WOW the modern folk is just so beautiful!!!! I would love to finish Carolyn Manning's bee pattern! Lovely stitching:)
Moon. I think flowers should have a bright background. Like a bright sunny day.
Hi Lisa so nice to see another video with such lovely projects and goodies, love the charcoal that will be my choice, enjoy and be well, blessings ❤️🇬🇧
Another fun video Lisa - thank you!! Big hugs and fingers crossed for some good news for you. Your energy and gratitude are definitely contagious as others have said! Greetings from New Zealand Lisa. ❤ Your videos you have such a calming voice.

Charcoal for your project with those beautiful colours.
The bee is also stunning with all those amazing colours.
Take care, happy stitching ❤
You are such a shining star. I love watching your progress with your WIPS. Beautiful stitching! Keeping you in my prayers through your journey.
Loving your videos! You are included in my daily prayers! I think the charcoal fabric would be so pretty with those flosses! Looking forward to seeing your Mom with you in a video!✝️
Lisa, you are a wonderful, giving, sharing, possibly human! Your faith and hope is so positive. Thank from my bottom of my heart. Pep talk! I would use the charcoal, beautiful with the threads. Star, faith, hope. I will praying for you, take care🤗🧵🪡🙏🏻
Hi Lisa! So good to see you again and all your lovely projects. Love your smiling face and positivity on your journey. Please know that I think of you often and say a prayer for you each time. Enjoy your retreat. I will see your next video soon. ❤ Moon Faith
I am pretty sure that charcoal is daring, and adventurous. Sort of what you are aiming for in 2023. I have faith in you and your journey. Your smile makes me feel that you are facing the storm with strength. That faith bookmark is gorgeous. I was stitching on Virtues by LDS and Positivity Rules by Caterpillar Cross Stitch.
Ma’am, you are such an inspiration and a beautiful human. God bless you through your journey. Stay strong and keep on keeping on! ❤
Hi Lisa, thank you for another beautiful video. I love your finishes and progress. Please show yourself some grace with your stitching. Every stitch is forward progress, so enjoy the journey. Much love to you my sweet and beautiful friend. ❤ I like the Moon fabric, but choose the one that will bring you the most joy not stress. I'd love to adoption your Bee project, but you have to let me finish stitching it and mail it back to you to FFO and keep! Thinking of you daily in my meditations and prayers. ❤🙏
First time watching your channel but glad to have found you. I vote charcoal fabric- be brave. 🙂 Ball tip needles help a ton with dark fabrics. Happy stitching! -Leah Noel
Lisa love all you stitch and do! I love the charcoal fabric for your selection! ❤beautiful! Owl, Star I would love to stitch either! I love your joy! It always makes me so happy to see a video from you❤ blessings always
I love your floss tubes Lisa, I am praying for you. You will have so much fun at Stitch North. I was there last week and it was AMAZING. You will be in floss ecstasy. Have fun.
I love the idea of adopt a whip. Owls, bee.
Really enjoy your videos. I esp enjoy your emphasis on gratitude in all areas of life. It is often at times when we have to dig a little deeper that we find the real treasures. I am looking forward to hearing about your StitchNorth experience, weekend A was fabulous😊
I also have to look into some of those AB shops …. I am in the Shuswap so with spring here there will be more trips back ‘east’🤓
I think charcoal will be more striking! No regrets!!! You can always make it smaller if you decide you don't enjoy it!
The happy mail os so kind of you!
I’m going to look for this Canada pattern. Then I’m will require a trip to Canada. I’m sure my husband will accommodate!!
What a lovely Flosstube video today. I think the charcoal for sure!
Prayers my dear new friend for good news and no more worry!
I would bee happy to take over your Honeybee 😊
It’s so funny how your taste changes the longer we’ve been stitching! You are a sweetheart just love your projects and watching you! We should always stitch things we love and makes us happy. Plant seed and sing song is beautiful! The darker go for it! I think the darker will show up better! Star love it
You are such a delight and inspiring to watch. You are in my daily prayer .
You are a joy to watch. My younger sister has just been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer after battling follicular and B cell lymphoma over the past 12 years. She will begin chemo again soon. She is always so upbeat and positive. You remind me of her. Beautiful, brave and courageous women. Hope and faith can help you cope. Be bold and daring, stitch on the charcoal fabric. It's always good to get out of our comfort zone! Love and positivity coming to you from Michigan! 🤗❤️🪡
It is always a pleasure to spend time with you. Your gratitude and positivity are infectious. Thank you for sharing with us.
Charcoal! Those colors are GORGEOUS on the charcoal 😊
Charcoal will look beautiful.
Either would be lovely, but I lean towards the charcoal. Love your floss tubes, and I’m pulling for you!
I hope you have a wonderful time at stitch north. It sounds like a great time. Also thanks for the reminder to be grateful. Sending healing prayers your way too.
I love your videos and favourite adopt a whip is the star. I appreciate all the care and and detail you put into your videos. They are amazing. You are so thoughtful and caring in all of the projects that you do. I love being able to shop at many of the places you mention. I’m from Airdire and it’s so nice to watch someone that’s in my same province and country. I love it. Have a great day
The charcoal would be stunning! I really hope to see your mom as a guest this summer. Maybe your daughter as well! 💖 owl, star, bee, faith, hope
You are such an inspiration! Your attitude of gratitude is so contagious! I think of you often and pray for good news with your scan. I’m happy you ar3 able to do all the traveling and attending Stitch North, you deserve it all! With faith and hope you will get through this!❤️❤️🙏🏻
Call Sheoherd’s Needle in Little Rock Ar. I saw “the Visitor” in their shop this afternoon! I really enjoy your videos and your stitching projects
I so enjoy your videos! I just bought a new pattern with the saying "Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."
Good vibes and many prayers your way. Take care and see you next flosstube!!
Lovely stitching! I've never done a Carolyn Manning so I would adopt the Bee!
Charcoal! You are an awesome stitcher and Flosstuber! ( Is that a word?😀). Stitch your happy and prayers coming your way.
Lovely show. I have now added the Plant seeds to my list to start in a week or so. I'm going to do it on Fox & Rabbit Mayflower, which is new for me as I generally use colourful fabrics. If I had to choose from your options I would prob go the lighter, only because my vision doesn't let me stitch on the dark ones, but I do know if I could, I would stitch Charcoal, the colours will be stunning and pop beautifully. Heads up tho ... once you start playing with colours you won't want to stop lol
You and I have similar tastes in cross stitch! I am currently working on Summer Quaker, and Fish and Ships, and I have Snip Snip in my to do pile! Every time I watch your videos I am inspired by your work! You may have ‘inspired’ me to collect a few more projects! 😂. I so enjoy watching your videos. You feel like family - which could be true as my Dad is from NFLD! Keep well, and stay strong.
Hi Lisa
I saw you at stitch north may weekend but unfortunately I was only dropping by to visit friends that were there , so I couldn’t come say hi. Maybe I can get to meet you next year, depends on what weekend you should to go to.
Your adopt-a-wips are beautiful. I love the star Barbara Anna and the Satsuma one with owl tree. Both are now on my to do list. I love owls they decorate my kitchen.
Keep up your so positive thoughts I know everyone will keep giving you positive vibes and inspirations
So glad you are able to attend Stitch North. I was at the April weekend and had a marvelous stitchy time.
Hi
So sorry i missed you at Stitch North. Hope to see you next year. ❤
You give me such joy when I watch your channel. You are in my thoughts and prayers for what you are going through. Your grace and positivity are so inspiring. Keep it up, you're a beautiful person!
My oldest daughter just went through two years of breast cancer treatments, mastectomy & reconstruction. Hope is a beautiful word.
I pray all goes well. I am a 6 yr breast ca survivor. Hugs to your daughter and you all.❤❤
Love the charcoal, I think the colours pop more
I will be sending hopeful, healing thoughts to you throughout your cancer journey. I so look forward to your videos. We have very similar tastes & your positive attitude is an inspiration. I wish you a wonderful weekend at Stitch North.
My vote is charcoal….it would be stunning. I would like to stitch star and gift it to my granddaughter. I’m sending prayers your way for strength, courage, hope, and peacefulness. 🩷
Good afternoon, I just love watching your videos!!! My vote is the charcoal fabric, it really makes the thread pop! I love the needle minders from Cute as a Button & couldn't wait to buy one. I was so bummed that she only sells in Canada. Hopefully she can expand to the US & you will let us know. Keep on stitching & fighting!!!
Lisa, your stitching is beautiful! Moon would be my choice of fabric. Sending you prayers and positive energy on your journey. Carol Manning has wonderful designs so I would love to adopt a bee 🐝
You are such an adorable person! I just love your personality and how you come through so cheerful on your Flosstubes. I’m really looking forward to your tutorial on gridding and also on a collaboration with your mom if she is willing to do it. STAR. FAITH. HOPE.
While I was watching your program, I was crocheting a blanket for my great granddaughter in her favorite colors of orange and yellow. She asked me to make this blanket for her.
I like the charcoal. Enjoy your flosstube so much! Enjoy Stitch North. I also am going to Stitch & Stash - looking forward to it.
Hi Lisa, I vote for the charcoal, but I get it- I lean toward conservative fabric choices as well. 😊
Our hearts and prayers are with you, and if I could adopt a piece of yours I would be honored to finish it and would make it a priority to pass the love along as you have! You are an amazing person! Have faith in God- he works miracles every day! Bee, owl, star! Keep doing what makes you smile!! And continue to provide us with your lovely content when you can. 🙏🏻
Charcoal. It will look amazing.
Beautiful videos. Thank you. Owls
I love to watch your podcasts. I watch lots of knitting podcasts and when yours showed up in my list I didn’t even know what flosstube was but your projects are so beautiful and impressive that I look forward to seeing them and enjoying your kind and thoughtful ways. All the best to you❤🇨🇦
It was great to watch your video. You are always so sweet and caring. I’m praying that you get good test results. I wish I was able to eat healthy food when I’m stressed. I tend to go for chocolate 🤦♀️
Bless you in your journey. I trust God has you in his mighty hands of comfort and strength. Just a heads up on Daughter dear, I am off one stitch on the border, left side has the same number of stitches except one has I think 6 instead of 5. I got the patten in my head and did that mindless stitching, then went across the bottom, that’s when
I noticed that the right bottom was short one stitch. That being said it’s a beautiful stitch and now I have to compensate for one row in the inside part.
I so enjoy your videos and your positivity, it's contagious! I also love pale fabrics but I think your seed project would be stunning on the charcoal fabric. I fell in love with the Stacy Nash Animal Cracker series when I came across them. While watching you I stitched on the Animal Crackers - Theodore - Cross Stitch Pattern by Stacy Nash Primitives, my first in the series. Bee
Also love your pay it forward
I really love your positivity and your attitude. Your videos are always so wonderful to watch. Wishing you all the strength and courage in the world. Enjoy your retreat! As for the fabric choice, I would say be brave and go the charcoal. It will look so striking. And I'd love to adopt one of your WIPs. Owl and Bee. Sending love from Australia.
Charcoal!!😍😍
I love your ADOPT a WIP idea
Hi Lisa, lovely catching up with you again. The cirque project is looking amazing! I’m loving seeing your wips progress each video :)
I love the plant and seeds and sing songs pattern (sorry didn’t catch the name) the colours are stunning, I think the charcoal fabric would be fantastic for it.
Owl 🦉 star ⭐️
Oh, I forgot to mention this….have a blast at Stitch North!!!
I absolutely enjoy your channel and your bubbly personality. Look forward to watching.
Moon! I admire your positivity! Thank you for being a bright light for all of us.
We get a coffee and we get to Cross Stitch!
I’m going with the moon fabric….maybe a “moon flower stitch” for a dark fabric. I adore Barbara Ana and the star stitch is amazing! Unfortunately I was in a car wreck and suffered a TBI…I’m just not sure my brain damage could do the bee stitch…but I would love to try. I enjoy your kindness. I painted “I am the storm”. Faith over fear always (always working on this) I have been and will continue to say my prayers for you. With love ❤️
Hi Lisa, always a pleasure to watch your videos, you have such a great outlook on life, one we can all adopt.! I would love to adopt your bee as I have been looking at working on one of her designs. Sending some good thoughts and vibes from a fellow Canadian stitcher. I have been working on a Better Homes and Gardens Christmas stocking and the plan is to get it done for this year.
I couldn’t say it any better than all of our comrades in stitching have already stated here. Nevertheless, I will say how very much I enjoy watching your channel. YOU bless US every.single.time with that kind heart of yours. Smiles abound, my friend from a distance, and so do my prayers for you! One last thing: Adopting the owls would be icing on this delicious cake you’ve created for us! With love from South Carolina. ❤
Hello my friend. Charcoal will be a great choice! What a great idea to have adopt-a-WIPS 💜 All 3 of the patterns are gorgeous. I particularly love the owl one and would be honoured to finish it! I am currently in treatment for breast cancer. I had an ultrasound today. I don’t talk about it much and I have to tell you I really appreciate that you have opened up and talked about your diagnosis. It makes me feel like I am not alone. I am praying for you. The hope scissor fob is beautiful ❤ Thank you for the wonderful flosstube again.
Go Bold! the charcoal - like you I would be terrified but you said "I'm gonna say Yes more". You are such a joy to watch and listen to. Don't apologize, we all have our days you're doing fantastic. Have fun at Stitch North so jealous.
Hi Lisa, you've accomplished so much and all your projects are beautifully stitched. Thank you for your inspiration and encouragement and you are such an amazing person. I would go for the charcoal fabric even though it is more difficult to stitch on but the floss colors would really pop. We all need to have faith and hope for the best every day. All the love and many more blessings coming your way. Take good care.
