I think it is amazing the positive attitude that you have during your journey of fighting cancer. I pray that the treatments do their job and you continue to make progress on all your projects.
Glad to hear you are going to do the 50 starts. I talked to Sue and told her that if I were going to do it, I would have to do 80 starts, because I will be 80 in April. I laughed and was only joking at the time. As the days rolled past, I kept thinking about it, and decided I would try it. 😄 I have a list, and I am prepared to start, though I am waiting for an order of fabric to arrive. I noticed that I had a lot of "older" patterns, from the 80s and 90s, so part of my theme is to work on the older patterns, but modernize them by using modern fabric and fiber. I got sick last week (not sure what it is, flu, Covid, or just a nasty infection), but I have asthma and pulmonary fibrosis, so getting this sick is pretty lousy at this time of year. But I am having the itch to stitch, so I may organize my projects into something I can find. Your work is absolutely beautiful and an inspiration to everyone who watches you. Please have a Blessed Christmas and New Year. Your positive attitude gives me hope that I may live as long as my aunt did -- she was 102 when she passed away.

Let me just say you are one brave fantastic stitcher. I loved watching you finish your 10 x 24. Your Long Dog Sampler pieces are perfection ! I I have never been brave enough to stitch one of their designs, but I do love them ! I wanted to comment on this video because while watching it, I finished my “ Little Red Schoolhouse “ piece. I Stitched it for my granddaughter, Ashley, who is a first grade teacher in Heathrow Florida . I wanted it to be more like a sampler than a pin keep so I stitched it on 25 count Lugana , 2 over 2 with Gentle Arts “ Schoolhouse Red “.

Love your positive attitude. You will look back on this time as just another chapter in your book of life and remember your strength. You are rocking it. The saying goes “Take one day at a time”. But sometimes you have to just take one step at a time. I know from experience that a major medical event makes you look at life so differently, and in a good way. It makes you appreciate the small things that you never paid much attention to before. Soak up the special time with your family this holiday.
