What a wonderful video! I always thoroughly enjoy them! Your pictures at the end of the video are beautiful. I am glad you find the time to get away and relax. On sorting Dimension floss, I recommend strong natural light. I then separate into color families, then separate all the floss in each group according to the floss chart (ie very light, very very light, medium light, etc.). The kits usually give you how many strands of each color there are and that is a big help. Good luck! Happy stitching! Hugs.❤
I am getting ready to stitch The Garden series by Blackbird in January. I loved your finish of #12. Confirms my choice to make this series my big stitch for next year. Love your flosstube. You are amazing.
Hi Pam!! I love the little bird and it sits proudly on my bookcases in my living room now! It's a lovely reminder of you and the courage it takes to make the most of each day!! ❤😊 happy stitching! Lisa
I love the photos at the end. They made me all nostalgic. I grew up in northern Minnesota and the Great Lake of the Woods was our go to lake for fishing and boating and discovering. I also used to do a lot of camping in the Rockies out west and so loved it. I don't do that anymore, but it was so beautiful. Your photos brought back good memories for me. The pristine beauty of the water, sky, and shore were just so lovely. Thank you for sharing. As I have looked at what some of the other people have written, I have had to click the like icon so often. They say so much I would like to say as well. Please know that I am dittoing what they are saying, even if I haven't written it. I put off watching your video because I wanted a quiet time to be with you and hear what you had to say, and see what you had to show. I do think I should gather the Garden series and Anniversary series of Blackbird to stitch them as well, I have been trying not to do that, because as I grow older, I know I won't be able to stitch all the charts I have gathered. So Perhaps I will get just the ones I truly love - like the Fairy house. I loved to see your finish. It excites me as well just for that tiny little house. I will stop or you will have a tome on your comments. That's not fair to others. I am so glad you are back and feeling stronger. I admire so much your courage, strength and positivity towards life and what comes toward you. What a great lesson you are for me, in how to meet life's daily adventures. For I think that is how you must view life. What adventure will this day bring? And then you walk forward to meet it. What a life lesson!! Thank you, so very much.
With your dimension kit, if you have the card with the colour numbers. I cut them apart and tape each to a floss drop. I include the symbol and include other colour number if you need to blend.
I always look forward to your videos! You are stitching some beautiful pieces!! That Lighthouse is going to be so beautiful & you’ve made so much progress!! Thanks for sharing your family trip, what beautiful surroundings!! It almost makes me want to camp outside (as long as there’s a hotel room to run to! 🤣) Love & Blessings till next time!! Donna
Beautiful stitching. Thanks for sharing all your projects. I also have a Dimensions kit I got from my parents years ago. Its still in the original package and has not been opened. I pull it out often to admire it. Sorting out all the floss is going to take some time. Happy stitching. Enjoy.
Hi Lisa! The Mirabilia that you showed us is probably the only Mirabilia that has been interesting to me to stitch - I think it is the colours - The others are hard for me to relate to - we live in a log house in the Yukon bush and elegance is not a big part of our lives... I'm okay with that.... but I do love the fun of this one! I'm with you on the start-thing. I don't care anymore about how many are going - which is about 8 at this moment. And though I don't consider myself a monogamous stitcher, I do like to stick with one until my mind and heart say - you need a break from this. My birthday is in October and I am going to begin a new stitch - that may take me the rest of my days - HAED - One way Traffic.... and we'll see where that takes me. Ha! I am 70! and can't imagine 70 new starts. Neither can my family... it IS for the JOY OF STITCHING!I have done a couple of Dimensions Kits and I have never seen the floss like that. How do you sort out which colour to what symbol?
Hi Lisa, I smiled and got a little excited when I saw you had a new video up yesterday. Wasn’t able to watch until this morning. You FFO’s you did are so beautiful and all your WIPS, WOW are amazing. You do such beautiful work. I love watching your FlossTube videos. Your smile is so infectious, it just lifts my spirits and makes me smile. You are such an amazing person, and the courage and determination you have to beat this nasty disease. You inspire me, and make me realize that I can do and accomplish anything I put my mind to do. My stitching, like you is my therapy. I need to stitch every day to keep my mind busy so that I am not always think about how much I miss my boys. Your pictures and videos you always share are so beautiful. You are so lucky to live in a country with so many beautiful places to go see. My dream is to go to Canada one day and get to explore some of these places. I am already looking forward to your next FlossTube ❤❤❤
One thing you’ve learned is to live each day to the fullest. That’s evident in all your videos. I have always loved your stitching Lisa. But it’s your smile that captivates me. The joy you have in spite of the trials you’ve been through. This is the greatest lesson you can teach. Gratitude. I’m so glad you are back doing videos. Thx so much🤗
Always good to see you and enjoy your positive energy. I've recently made an effort to always have a Mill Hill going as well. I love them! Love seeing your travel photos too. Take care Lisa!
No getting stressed with new starts - it has to be fun! I am the same that when I have a new start I want to get a decent amount done so I am glad I am slowing down now. Bones looks like a game we play camping called 'Viking Chess' - this is with wooden blocks and sticks that are supposed to represent skulls and bones. It is great fun and the kids love it as much as the adults! Happy stitching my lovely! xx
I do so enjoy all your Flosstubes, even if you get interrupted several times. It’s no biggie for us on this side of the camera. You have such a beautiful life - ups and downs for sure - but beautiful just the same. And we live in such a beautiful world. I’m so happy for you that you and your husband have these opportunities to see new places, and meet new faces, and just take time for yourselves to breathe it all in. What a blessing! See you next time! ❤
Beautiful fairy garden stitching tray finish! Wow. That's so cute! I love the stained glass lighthouse. So excited to watch your progress on this one! Is there a lot of confetti? Happy stitching!
Thank you for another amazing video. And the pics and video you took, wow, stunning!! I can't wait to see your progress on that Lighthouse Stained Glass Window!!😮❤ Take care and God Bless
Your framed pieces turned out beautifully! Loved seeing all your wonderful WIPS (and you can never have too many lol). The bargello on Seasons by the Sea shouldn't be difficult. It's basically satin stitch and you just need to count their placement. You can stitch one colour at a time, then to the next, so you don't need all colours and needles going all at once. I don't know how you plan on stitching these patterns, but beware that they weren't all printed to the same scale. I had hoped to photocopy and tape them all together as I like an overview of what I'm stitching, and I'd also planned on making some changes. This plan didn't work as the grids didn't line up. I hope your new fabric choice for them is just perfect. I've got a piece of light blue on order, oh dear, hope it works out lol. Take care, and happy stitching, Arleen
You are such a sweet soul. Your stitching is beautiful. I’m still so drawn to the stained glass piece. You have such a nice genuine smile. Looks like you enjoyed your camping trip. The pictures are breathtaking. Good luck to your children as they navigate their school schedules.
Happy to see you and enjoy your videos. Love your haul. Checked Woodland Crafts and saw a few things I would like to get. Thanking for showing and sharing your stitching.
Love all your stitching!! So many things are SO cute!! That Wilbur from Charolette’s Web is so adorable! I agree with you… Stitching is my therapy to! 😊💗
You’ve been busy! I cannot imagine having to send three kids off to college! Phew! You’re right about needing to just enjoy your stitching and not worry about the numbers. Life is enough without making your stitching a chore too. Keep having fun and those numbers will do their own thing 😘
@@sewmesarah hi Sarah!! Thanks so much! Yep! It's been a busy fall, but we love seeing them all grow up! Congrats to Andrew for his recent convocation! I am having tons of fun now with my stitching and just starting whatever peaks my fancy!! Have a wonderful week, and hugs to Charlotte! Hope that she is adjusted to her new school! Lisa
It's so good to see you getting so many stitches in. I'm trying so hard to get my mojo back with this crazy chemo brain. But only two more chemo treatments and then more scans, surgery, and radiation which I've heard are not as bad as the chemotherapy. So onwards and upwards!!!! I love the redbird sampler.
Obviously, I am not use to leaving comments. I just realized I didn't mention the heart stitch that I could not understand the name of is on Floss Tube #21. I was waiting for surgery to remove colon cancer when I first saw you. I am recovering from surgery now and wish you well. I look forward to many more videos.
So nice to watch your video, I am so far behind as I spent most of my summer out in the garden. I lost my husband in 2022, and my stitching has become my salvation. He enjoyed everything I stitched and always took an interest and helped when I was needing advice. The stitching has helped me so much through my grief. Happy stitching Patty
Hi Lisa. I started Princess Eliana about 3 years ago and didn’t like the fabric and haven’t found another fabric yet that I like but your progress may get me to start it next year. I grew up in Saks and haven’t heard of that game but I played something very similar to it earlier this summer when I was im Edmonton. So lovely to see you again. You look amazing in that color fleece you were wearing today!
Thank you for another great video. If you find information about the floss organization for Dimensions please let us know. I bought a plastic floss organizer for my stamped cross stitch because the paper one tore. I got the 24 hole acrylic one from waterfall threads. You might need more then one if you have a lot of thread.
I absolutely love your Needleminders they are almost like pieces of jewellery. Where did you get them from? I especially love the frog 🐸 ❤ it's lovely to see you back 😊 Happy stitching 🪡💕
Thanks again my friend. That little place in Sask looks so inviting! I'll have to look it up and visit it. I can't believe how much you get done! Hugs from Vancouver Island
Thank you for another lovely video & for taking us along on your weekend getaway!! I so enjoy your stitching & your spirit! Nice tip for the Mill Hill perforated paper with knit material. I wonder is it a one and done, or are you able to re-use the fabric for the next project? Take care & happy stitching! 🪡🧵🪡
Hi Denise! I think that it would be easier as a one time use with the fabric for the mill hill, but certainly it might be reused of yiu have thr patience to get it stirched on😊
Lovely video Lisa❤as usual, you know what I just realized? I have a few projects that you have in your WIP pile that are in the “not started yet pile”😅 : My Eliana is almost done all it needs are beads … Aurora cabin is 40% done Garden club tree- I just started 😅.. I am stitching along with you …
Hi! So nice to see you❤ wow lots done and lots of wips/plans. So glad to see you doing well. And I have to show my husband pictures at the end as he had an aunt who lived inMeadow Lake and on our trip across Canada he wants to go there. Thanks for the great video!
It’s good to see you whenever you can get a video up. It’s funny that you were feeling stressed by your stitching because I’ve been feeling the same way the last few days and I don’t really know why. Your little getaway looked like such a relaxing and wonderful time. I hope it refreshed your soul the same way that stitching does. You have many wonderful projects and plans and it’s so fun to watch your progress. Hugs and blessings! ❤
Great to see you and your beautiful smile! Great stitching projects, you do such great work on each one. I have never stitched a Dimensions Kit, so I am no help except to say, Good Luck!
Hi Lisa - thank you for the tip about stitching on perforated paper in a Q-snap. I have arthritic fingers and that is so helpful. Boy you thought you'd be on easy street to record today, didn't you? The best laid plans, yada yada. 🤣😂😆 If you can wait that long, bring it to Stitch North and we can look at the "tangle" on your Dimensions kit. I am surprised to see that mess. Dimensions are usually all orderly and organised. I wonder if the package was opened before and the threads were put back in a bunch.
Hi Nicole! Yep! It was one busy morning in the house all by myself 😂 yeah this one is a bit of a mess! I'll get at it when I have lots of patience 😊haha!
I recently saw you on RUclips and really enjoyed listening and seeing all of your beautiful stitching. You seem like a very sweet person. I especially love the heart - I believe is the second item shown. I cannot understand the name of it or the designer, though it sounds like French. If it is somewhere else on the site, I don't know where to look. I look forward to looking back at other things you have posted.
Thank you for keeping me company on a sleepless night. I too am editing the Cottage Garden patterns. When I start something I want to get in a few hundred stitches before I show it also. I am getting the By the Sea pattern for Stitch North start.l.would love to be with you as you learn about the specialty stitches. When are you flying into Ontario for Stitch North? Take care. 🦉🧵🪡🇨🇦
Enjoyed your video so much. I love that you have such a variety of projects. Like you I want to enjoy every stitch. I’m retired, I stitch what I want , when I want. 😀
You are one busy mama. You have really stitched so many cool designs. The dimensions usually come with floss organize. Each color laid out on the table one by one. Then walk away for a while and then another color. You can do this!
Wonderful show Lisa. Sounds like you had a fabulous time on your trip and you got to stitch as well. As you know, I admire your enthusiasm with camping ❤ Thank so much for sharing ❤
Thanks for the tip for sewing on the mill hill perforated paper! I will definitely try that! Thanks also for sharing your photos of your trip! What a beautiful place!
Hi Lisa, I do wool appliqué and have found a wealth of information from primitive gatherings in winsconsin. Lisa Bongean has a great book out for learning the stitches and how to. I love all your projects!
Such beautiful stitching and pictures from your camping trip! I stitch a fair number of Dimensions kits, so if there's anything I can help with let me know. The big bundles of floss you can just put on floss drops or such.
My 24 starts in 2024 started off with under ten stitches in each project. And now they are under 200 stitches in each project but my goals for 2025 is 5 finishes and 30 finishes come 2030.
So happy to see you again and catch up with your recent videos. I've been gone most of the summer and am just getting back to watching flosstube. I have a grandson (10) named Kaden. He and his family just moved from North Carolina to Arizona. We are so happy that they are only 6 hours ago from us now. In May I stitched Reflections of Canada - what a fun stitch. My sister lives in Didsbury and I gave it to her while visiting this summer. I have stitched lots of Mill Hill kits - you'll enjoy them. What a creative way to hold the stitching! Jeanette's designs are gorgeous. Bargello is fun and not difficult. Not intimidating once the first row is counted correctly! So happy you are doing well.
Unfortunately, That Patchwork Place also known as Martingale has gone out of business and is no longer publishing books, They always had awesome titles. You have to look around now for their various books but they aren't too hard to find since it hasn't been more than a year or two since they quit.
I had that email address for the Dimensions pdf pattern but lost it. Simplicity owns them now. They did send me a pdf of another but I seem to be challenged getting it into my tablet. Collette the highway stitcher explained where to send and how to send it in one of her videos. Maybe reach out to her. I have this pattern also, I’ll jump on board when you start. 😊
With my dimensions kits in the past, I’ve snipped on the lines in the cardboard carrier strip and in effect made it into an individual floss drop. With a slight tug you can separate off each strand and they are easily long enough for a loop start folded x
Hello from Tennessee USA! I have a question about your new Mirabilia. What is the new fabric you've chosen for this and are you using 1 thread over 2? Thank you. Love watching your videos and love you bunches!
I notice that you and several other mirabilia stitchers do the same thing for “skin” and that’s over one instead of two like usual. I’m about to start my first Nora, Water Lily, and I wanted to know why you would make that choice?
It makes the dimemsiom of the skin look more delicate 😊 watch Arica's video (from Fibers and Floss Canada Flosstube) on 1 over 1 stitching 😊 she does an amazing g job of explaining it! Arica and Sam Hygge Stitcher did a mini series for Mira May on how to.start, stitch, bead etc
Although the picture is lovely, Dimensions kits are awful. All other kit companies separate and organize their threads! Why they aren't doing it is just because they are cheap! You will spend hours sorting it! Where did you get the totes? I love them!
Your Channel has great quality contents but steel. it is not delivering its right audience due of SEO problem. You should focus on You SEO so that you can get a big future, Thanks
Hugs.❤
Great video! I loved the Cohana tote so much that I ordered one for myself. I am enjoying using it. Thanks for the tip.
Thanks for sharing your stitching and beautiful photos. Your looking fabulous
I am getting ready to stitch The Garden series by Blackbird in January. I loved your finish of #12. Confirms my choice to make this series my big stitch for next year. Love your flosstube. You are amazing.
Enjoyed your video, first time watching. THANKS SO MUCH FOR NO RUSTLING OF PROJECT BAGS AND ZIPPERS! I will be back for more of your videos.

Hi Denise! I think that it would be easier as a one time use with the fabric for the mill hill, but certainly it might be reused of yiu have thr patience to get it stirched on😊
Lovely video Lisa❤as usual, you know what I just realized? I have a few projects that you have in your WIP pile that are in the “not started yet pile”😅 :
My Eliana is almost done all it needs are beads …
Aurora cabin is 40% done
Garden club tree- I just started 😅..
Thank you for such an enjoyable video and happy stitching 🌸💞🌸
It’s good to see you whenever you can get a video up. It’s funny that you were feeling stressed by your stitching because I’ve been feeling the same way the last few days and I don’t really know why. Your little getaway looked like such a relaxing and wonderful time. I hope it refreshed your soul the same way that stitching does. You have many wonderful projects and plans and it’s so fun to watch your progress. Hugs and blessings! ❤
Zase sa objavilo slniečko. pozdravujem Vás.
Great to see you and your beautiful smile! Great stitching projects, you do such great work on each one. I have never stitched a Dimensions Kit, so I am no help except to say, Good Luck!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful projects. I so do enjoy your videos.
you can also order a wooden frame from the place where you got the bead organizer for your mill hills that is easier and faster to get stitching
I have one on the way! 😊
A nice visit with you as always. I appreciate you showing your wool applique stuff as that is one of my hobbies as well.
Hi Pam! The ❤ pattern is from Jardin prive and is called Petite Coeur (little heart). You can find it at JardinPrive.com😊 happy stitching!
Take care. 🦉🧵🪡🇨🇦
Hi Karen! I understand insomnia! Hope you get some sleep and I'm glad to keep you company! Happy stitching! Lisa
Always great stitching!
Your pictures of camping are beautiful, thanks for sharing !
Love everything about your videos, but my favorite part is sharing yours and Paulo's adventures. 💕
Stitching on perforated paper : in the last Just Keep Stitching flosstube, Stephanie showed a magnetic « hoop » that she very much appreciates. 🙂
Yep! I have one on the way from Ukraine! ❤😊
Oh! I love the stained glass Lighthouse.
Something I would definitely stitch, thank you for the inspiration.
Hi Lisa, I do wool appliqué and have found a wealth of information from primitive gatherings in winsconsin. Lisa Bongean has a great book out for learning the stitches and how to. I love all your projects!
So great to see your smiling face. Beautiful stitching and it looks like a beautiful place to camp out for the weekend.
Hi Aunt Viola! ❤😊 Thanks for watching! Lisa
Such beautiful stitching and pictures from your camping trip! I stitch a fair number of Dimensions kits, so if there's anything I can help with let me know. The big bundles of floss you can just put on floss drops or such.
Always great to spend time with you!!!!
❤❤❤
Hi Samantha!!! I watched your Mira Series with Arica ❤😊❤😊😊❤ now.... addicted to Mira lol! Can't wait to see you guys at Stitch North! Lisa
My 24 starts in 2024 started off with under ten stitches in each project. And now they are under 200 stitches in each project but my goals for 2025 is 5 finishes and 30 finishes come 2030.
Always happy to see you and all the wonderful stitching.
So much beautiful stitching 🧵 and inspiration ❤! Thank you! 😊
Hi Evelyn!! ❤😊Thanks for watching! Happy stitching! ❤🧵🪡 Lisa
A pleasure, Lisa ❤ Thank you 😊!
Hi Barbie! ❤😊 ❤😊Thanks for watching and for your encouragement with the Bargello! I'll get it going! Happy stitching! ❤🧵🪡 Lisa
I found Aurora House on Etsy.
Highway stitcher on You Tube explains how to get a pdf of a dimension kit
Wow, you are a busy stitcher. Where did you order your new tote bag from?
Hi Paulette! I ordered it from Japan at Cohana.com... be aware you have to pay customs, but the conversion is reasonable! ❤😊happy stitching Lisa
💟☮️
Hello from Tennessee USA! I have a question about your new Mirabilia. What is the new fabric you've chosen for this and are you using 1 thread over 2? Thank you. Love watching your videos and love you bunches!
Hi Nola! For the Princess Elliana piece, it is Wietchalt 32ct Peaceful Purple linen, and it is 2 over 2! ❤😊 happy stitching! Lisa
Where did you buy the books? Also, the numbers on Anniversaries of the Heart correlate to the months, i.e. 4 is April, 10 is October, etc.
Oh cool!! I didn't notice that for the anniversaries charts! Duh! Haha 😂 I bought the books from Makeify.com, makeify marketplace
What is the name of the marketplace you got the book from?
Makeify Marketplace at www.makeify.ca
Thank you so much
I notice that you and several other mirabilia stitchers do the same thing for “skin” and that’s over one instead of two like usual.
❤❤❤😊!
You don’t look old enough to have children that age ,you’re hair is looking great @ you look very healthy 5:11
Although the picture is lovely, Dimensions kits are awful. All other kit companies separate and organize their threads! Why they aren't doing it is just because they are cheap! You will spend hours sorting it!
Where did you get the totes? I love them!
The totes are from Cohana.com ❤😊 Lisa
Your Channel has great quality contents but steel. it is not delivering its right audience due of SEO problem. You should focus on You SEO so that you can get a big future, Thanks
❤❤❤
Hi Arica! Thanks for watching! ❤😊Lisa
