I have a couple albums from Public Service Broadcasting and I really enjoy the group. I have not bought their new album, very different kind of group. I admire that you can sit on the floor and actually get up from it. Pretty sure I’d be rolling around lol.
@@stevecarlsonvinylcommunity9147 the new PSB album I think is different in that there's a female singer on most of the tracks.
Hi Martin. I like Public Service Broadcasting. I saw them live in an upstairs room at a pub very early on and was impressed. I also like Mahalia Jackson. I have a musty record by her. All charity shops used to have that unpleasant musty smell. I was in a little one the other day, which was more like an old-fashioned junk shop, and it had that distinctive odour. I did leave though with a superb soul comp on Kent. All the best with the move when it finally happens.
Hiya Carl. Unpleasant smells? Hmmmmmm yes worst is tobacco I think. Seeing PSB in room above a pub is very cool. They made me think I need to get something by them at least. I saw first ever Porcupine Tree gig in a room above a pub in High Wycombe and also Pearl Jam first London concert, 2nd ever in UK. Moving is making me cull quite a bit though when I get back to selling at fairs I don't know. Cheers, Martin.
Moi Martin! Hauska päivitys, lots of interesting records and at least fun to explore. Finders keepers at a fair, i am jealous. Mansell was my favourite at some point, lol, wasnt so much fan of Prost anyway, Greetings!
I wish I'd bought a load of them now. There was mostly experimental electronic albums. People made fun of Mansell here but he did alright though he keeps a low profile these days. A bit like myself 😅
My dad would always play his record of Carmina Burana and I absolutely hated it. Good bunch of finds Martin, that Laurence record is a thing of wonder. I saw Public Service Broadcasting a few years ago in Sheffield with that actress who played Myra Hindley, forget her name. Interesting gig though not really up my alley.
Looking forward to the Medieval Vinyl tag 2025 I must say, don't let me down Martin! You can't beat a good cardigan, one should never be ashamed. I saw that Dalek album at the record fair (£10) so you did well. I was convinced the thumbnail was Organisation by OMD but then looked closer. As for Mojo, I can only do a video now when the mood takes me, I feel like it and also have the time. RUclips can get stuffed, they treat hobby areas with contempt. The rubbish algorithm also does its best to sink the VC. However, you do seem to get alot of good comments Martin so I hope that helps the mojo a bit, cheers.
@@SteviesVinylCupboard thanks yes and I try to reply to all comments and I know most of the people too which is nice. What gets me down is sometimes struggling up to a ton (i.e. 100) views for a video. Subs are irrelevant to me tbh and always have been. Mood taking me too yes and after I feel better. Medieval tag yeah why not that'll get them in! Not OMD no but I couldn't be bothered to change the thumbnail. As always thanks for the comments and your humour I think we are often on a similar wavelength or both just naturally funny 🤣 ;-)
@@Thevinylscavenger I don't think you are alone about getting up to 100 views. With YT, views should never be taken as a measure of popularity as it all depends on how much that video is shown around, IE the 'impressions' . More often or not, you'll get a video given exposure on the impressions reach for an hour or 2, maybe more, and then YT will drop it like a stone if it hasn't 'performed'! If it does buck up a bit YT will give it a push etc. But, as the YT algorithm favours clickbaity type things, and YT doesn't alert subscribers in a sensible way, any hobby topic area is on the back foot from the start. Momentum is therefore hard to achieve for long videos.
@@Thevinylscavenger I think views are down across the board. I now routinely get a third less views than I was getting even earlier this year. The only time that changes is when I deliberately go as click-baity as I can, which I don't really like doing. Greater number of clicks doesn't usually translate to greater interaction - I've had a lot of views on my new video but judging by a lot of the comments, people are just commenting without actually watching.
Martin! Yay! Whoop whoop! I'd quite like to hear that "medieval" version of Carmina Burana. What an odd thing to do to a 1930s piece. Of course, early music recordings were all the rage in the late 60s. Talking about music being all the rage at certain times...What was it about the 70s which seemed to breed christian singing groups and artists? Why did the church groups feel the need to spread the good word via dodgy folk and rock music? Is it still a thing? Are the various evangelical christian groups churning out religious versions of contemporary music today? How're they disseminating the music? Is it all online these days? As much as I dislike Johnny Trunk, at least his record fair seemed to throw up some interesting stuff. Hed
@@anotherfatbeardedmantalkin5893 Trunk is interesting to see in his natural environment of N.London. (David Attenborough voiceover) 'the lesser spotted hipster of Islington rarely seen outside of his postcode he frequents and breeds coolness attracting only similar types with limited scope of reality subversions.....' yeah that's our Jonny. Twas a good fayre though but less bargains this year. Couldn't move for 'library' music. So Xian music business is an uncomfortable cross for many. I could talk about for a significant amount of time. How long have you got? CCM controls much of the stuff and has done since 70s (ish) there are some theological problems some have (me included at times) as well as like the Bible should it all be free anyway? Could be argued in the secular world too? Dunno...... Seems there were tons of independent labels and stuff before then. Yes. Some of it is so bad but there's a kind of amateur appeal and/ or honest rootsiness to it. The stuff is rich on samples too little bits that make sense at least to me. Had to look up that long word you used there........
Hi Martin - Nice to hear about the Trunk event. You managed to find a few nice things despite the hipster pricing. I very very nearly went to it too, as it was my birthday weekend so I could have got away with it. However didn't bother my backside in the end... I noticed a few of the labels I follow were there, so would have been nice to say hello to them. Some scary fashion going on with Shane's records...take care Dale
Happy birthday belated to you. I never get your videos even though I'm subbed. It was good I did wonder out of anyone if you'd make it. There was no new trunk releases this time and the Persophone one sold out incredibly fast so I missed out. Is that right Wycombe are top?
@@Thevinylscavenger Thanks. I haven't been posting for past 3 months but put my first video since August up this week. Yes Wycombe are top currently but plenty of the season left for that to change...
Comment Two of Two": Good to hear that you went and saw Public Service Broadcasting. I watched the video for the song "Go" and I loved it. They have a very cool sound. That was nice of Shane to send you a box of records. I did not know many of the artists. But I enjoyed seeing them. Fantastic update Martin. I enjoyed it thoroughly. ~ Rob/Boston
@@Paneeks1960 PSB are moderately big here. They played Royal Albert Hall Proms event. How you doing? You've survived the election and are probably glad it's all over now? Beautiful autumn here ATM probably not unlike New England - all brown and yellow leaves in the woods.
@@ThevinylscavengerI am definitely happy that it is over Martin. This country is nuts when it comes to politics. I have seen friendships and families break up because one does not like who the other person is supporting. I am not a republican or a democrat. I am an independent voter. I signed up as an indie at the Frank Zappa concert in 1988. A few years before he was battling against the PMRC. {The Parents Music Resource Center was an American committee formed in 1985 with the stated goal of increasing parental control over the access of children to music deemed to have violent, drug-related, or sexual themes via labeling albums with Parental Advisory stickers}. He took the whole voting thing very seriously. He was trying to get everyone to vote. He had voting info booths set up inside and outside the Orpheum Theater. I have been an independent voter ever since. But to answer your question. I am very happy that the whole election is over. Do the people in the UK take the election to heart like in this country?
Good evening Martin. Nice to see you again. I am hoping that no news about moving is a good thing. <> There was a hour long 3D documentary at the Museum Of Science called "Antarctica". It was pretty amazing. <> I do the same thing when I go to record shows. I sometimes regret not picking up some of the ones that I left behind. <> Wow. Just getting one album from Lawrence's collection would have made my day. I love the band "Felt" and I have always been a fan of Lawrence. Con't~ Rob/Boston
I actually don't know any Felt so will have to check them out. I've back in denim which is a pastiche 70s glam band he did incredibly catchy songs. Not sure I'd recognise him either. How you recovering from the US elections post comedown? Antarctica a bit cold to visit and definitely not surfing 🌊
@@Thevinylscavenger This is a great place to start Martin. I could not get enough of this song when I first bought "Ignite the Seven Cannons" in 1985. I bought it on my 25th birthday. Elizabeth Fraser on background vocals. Love it so much. Hope you do too. ruclips.net/video/K5XgLshyN8w/видео.html
I've struggled to find it myself in recent months... but it is definitely a vital ingredient.
@@johnbellamy3406 Glad you understand what I'm talking about.
You definitely need the mojo to make videos. It's important to get that... wherever can find it.
Nice to see a new video from you Martin. The latest PEN album is pretty good but the live BBC proms one is even better. I wouldn't say I'm a big fan of Halo Maud but their album Je suis une ile is pretty good. Cheers Mike 👍👍👍
@@mikevinylspiral Halo Maud Hmmmmmm I wasn't convinced tbh. Maybe the live one. Quite alot of travel related albums and I think they reminded me at times of later New order threatening to go into full rave club mode if that makes sense. Musically very competent slick show though.
Hi Martin, Carmina Burana is a fabulous piece of music, but I cant imagine a medieval interpretation! That must mean it will be extraordinary. Intriguing records. Nice to hear from you!
@@EmbryonicRobot could be extraordinarily or hugely disappointing but for £1 very manageable mistake. The photo swayed it for me. Synonymous with the Omen film in my mind. Scary stuff when younger.
You can't beat a good cliché Martin and we definitely need to see more of the gent in the funky brown cardigan 👍👍👍 Hope you're keeping well 🙂
@@nicksvinylbutty5488 actually I have a confession to make. I have a brown button up 'cardy'. I'm ok a little uninspired with video making ATM but feel better having put this out now. Are you reeling from Kettering giantkilling last weekend?
I dread the day we have to move. I've tried with those 80s King Crimson albums, but I can't get into them at all. Getting rid of Fragile? But it has Heart of the Sunrise on it! Oh, and I do like that Nilsson album - it's certainly the one with the best tracks on it.
@@dixielandfarm all wise words Kris but I must do this. I have been a hunter / gatherer of my £1 finds for over a decade now so it's time to cash in a bit. A bit of controversy and debate does us good.
Welcome back Martin. I' m teetering on the edge of maybe getting a bit into Del Amitri. I saw them when they supported the Rolling Stones in 96, and their drummer Ash Soan played with Squeeze for a while, so I do have vague connections with them. Sorry to hear you've not clicked with the latest Nightwish...maybe it's the background stress of moving? Give it another chance when you're settled again perhaps. I've got a CD update coming up at some point in the not-too-distant as I've lapsed a bit (stopped buying them a couple of years ago when I got Spotify, but I've drifted back). You're getting rid of a few classic albums there, you know I'll never approve of such things.
@@jamesgriffithsmusic shocking isn't it. Do I revoke my classic LP card membership? Nightwish I think have gone a bit stale although if they toured I'd definitely go because you get your money's worth concert lengthwise. Yeah Del Amitri good band. Not hip at all but top songs. CDs fine by me I'm settling for CDs and vinyl combos one or the other is cool.
Yike! House move. That's a bummer...Or an opportunity. I've got Spartacus by The Farm. I like it because it's so dated. A real slice of 1991. I get Del Amitri and Hothouse Flowers mixed up. I think they sound pretty similar, but Hothouse Flowers were featured in an episode of Lovejoy...Or was that Del Amitri? Hed
I'm not sure about Lovejoy probably hothouse flowers and closer to Ian Mcshane's mullet and ethos. Del Amitri just complained about Scotland I don't think they left it. Yes having been here and had similar experience it's s wretch to move and I have come to the conclusion a cull is on order hey I can always start again.......
Martin, I hope your move when it comes goes well. I am with you on the new Nightwish album - on my first listen its not as compelling as 'Endless Forms...'. Looks like the pruning of your collection will bolster your stock boxes. Not sure exactly where you are but in case you have not heard there are new fairs in High Wycombe and in Oxford. Might those be close enough for you?
@@Vinyl-Heaven-And-Hell2023 hi Richard. Yes definitely High Wycombe Milton Keynes Leighton buzzard everywhere except Aylesbury. The new Nightwish, well I'll give it a chance still but I fear I've become a little bored with something maybe the themes of the music.
Hi Martin. I really like the most recent Suede album. I saw them on the tour for the album and they were incredible. I think Brett Anderson is probably one of the best front men I have ever seen!! I’m with you in that I think The Bends is Radiohead’s best album. It’s a 90’s indie classic. Even the lesser known tracks are brilliant. And let’s not forget that My Iron Lung was the first single from the album. Brave choice! Hope the move goes well. Cheers. John
Hi Martin, all the best for the move. Having to up sticks when you don't necessarily want to is a big pain. Its a shame the car boot season has finished, I saw a couple of people doing quite well with a van full. £7 entry as opposed to £35 entry (and insurance) for a record fair in these parts. I hope it all goes well. I had a similar situation back in 2015 and it was a big help renting a garage to store stuff so I could lessen to impact nearer the date. How much do you want for the Cure Japanese Whispers?
@@SteviesVinylCupboard it's not a great copy tbh at least VG+ quite flimsy sleeve so was it a budget release of their early singles?
Hi Martin, nice to see you rumbbling again, although its funny you are once and while trying to "suitsia" yourself to back to form and not rumbble too much. I was some day actually thinking how is your worldsection doing, so its moving among other things, tsemppiä muuttoon. Nice korean folk rec. Cheers, -petri
@@hatripekala4983 autumn is upon us. Seasons change maybe less noticeable here they often meld into one. My world section has proven quite challenging like is everything in another language 'worldy'? Put myself in a first world problem more like ;-) More genres create more crossover controversy. I will try to show before we move and they inevitably have to go in a box. I've been working on other projects too so they are in the pipeline and they require access to functioning record room. This will be in situ in forthcoming months at some point. Hmmmmmm.... Tricky. Regards, Martin.
@@Thevinylscavenger yes, autumn is coming, maple leafs are turning into beautiful colours, last cottage weeks, kind of melancholic, sad and beautiful at the same time.
Great to see you back Martin
It was great to be a part of the livestream last night. Duty usually calls unfortunately otherwise I'd drop in more on a more regular basis, that and my dodgy internet echoes! Hope the 10CC is good. Cheers mate.
Hi Martin. Good news on upcoming moving. I hope that you are happy with the new flat/house. Moving records can be fun but also exhausting depending on the numbers. I always enjoyed setting up my records in a new room. Shelving them is fun. Carrying 30 boxes of them can be a bit tedious. {smile} I wish I lived closer. I would help you with the move. <> Great to see you back. So good to see the Suede debut on Nude Records. Kind of a collectible. It is also cool to hear that you saw them on the first tour with Bernard Butler in the lineup. I actually saw them too at the Paradise Rock Club. I went to a invitation only pre-party. It was a lot of fun meeting and talking to all of them. I had each one sign one of the album cover promo posters that were hanging everywhere on the walls. I have it framed in my music room. They were all very nice and they enjoyed seeing Boston. Where did you see them? <> So many excellent spins that you showed. I really enjoyed seeing the variety and your World Music section. That Korean Folk Sings looked cool. I remember the Robert Palmer selling really well at the record store. We sold quite a few cassettes of that album. Excellent update Martin. It is a little shy of midnight now. I better shut down my computer. Morning comes early. Have a super weekend. Catch up with you soon~ Rob/Boston
Hiya Rob. I'll be ok when we find somewhere to move to. I forgot actually I saw Suede in Madrid coincidentally I was there and they (or the other band Brett was in) were playing free in a big plaza (square) there one night. I have so much sorting out to do. Here in front of me is a huge pile of albums to sell. I haven't sorted anything out or sold at a fair in at least a year. I've picked things up but not so regularly as the last decade. The summer ended now we abruptly jump to autumn. Leaves are falling everywhere. OK see you in your videos 😊
Hi Martin Sorry to hear you have to up sticks and move, good luck with that when it happens...what a complete pain mate. Some cool records in your purge stack...i have a whole load put aside i'll be looking to trade/ sell at some point, maybe vclt a few too. i've slowed up a lot over the summer in tetms of buying.
@@robison5396 sounds like we should have a trade off in the VC ;-) I think alot of stuff I've kept thinking oooh that'd be nice to have in the collection but I feel it's become a burden to have this perfect shop like stock whereas I'm keeping some that I don't know if I'll like it but it's more interesting to keep some unknown elements if that makes sense? I've slowed up this year. I'm relieved to not have had time or inclination to keep buying and listening has been such a pleasure.
Hi Martin! Nice to see you. The Bends and OK Computer are my two top Radiohead albums. I like the later stuff, but not as much as those two. Purging records is therapeutic 🙂 Good luck in selling those records and best wishes in your upcoming move!
Hey Brian. Let the purge commence. I have had a week off work now and a chance to start sorting things out. Very therapeutic and cathartic doing record sorting (Even if it appears to be getting nowhere). Are Radiohead big where you are? I'm guessing Morrissey is bigger even now?
@@Thevinylscavenger I'd say that Radiohead are still very popular here. They were enormous a few years back, so I have to think they could still draw a big crowd. Morrissey has a devoted fan base, but he would never draw any where near the size that Radiohead could, even in 1991, when I saw him in a mid-size venue. It has always been a cult-like status for him. Of course, radio stations here ignored the Smiths and Morrissey. You could only here them on alternative stations and no station now plays Morrissey that I know of. It's almost like they never existed!
Hi Martin - interesting plays and purge items. Having to move again now you're all set-up must be a pain. Good luck with the selling and storing...
Thanks. I think it maybe logistically quite difficult this time. I admit to hoarding too much and some will go to charity shops too. I will probably go to the trunk fayre next month. I have tickets too for public service broadcasting too as not been to a gig all year. Obviously wishing Wycombe all the best this season and citeh less so 😅
Hei, Martin I bought Suede's Animal Nitrate CD-MAXI when it was new. I still like that song. I still love Del Amitri's Nothing Ever Happens. Never seen that single. Have you! Oasis' Falling Down is one of my favourite songs by them. So depressing... I have it on 7". Good to see you holding that brand new Nightwish CD. Movin' is hard, Jarkko/MyVinylBar
@@mrjape71 heippa hei. That Del Amitri song could apply to Scottish or some Finnish towns..... Well it's very relatable. Unfortunately singer has some bad incurable thing I think Alzheimer's or Parkinson's very sad. Oasis I'm a little fed up of them because radio has played their songs since the year zero so it doesn't feel like they ever split up or needed to reform..... I hope you are well and I'll work on the new Nightwish but initially it doesn't grab me at all. Cheers Martin.
OOOO shag times
Hi Martin. A pretty poor selection I'm afraid. The sort of thing you see regularly for a pound each in a charity shop. I might have considered picking up Middle Of The Road, Kenny, Roy Orbison, Manfred Mann, Glen Campbell, Rod Stewart (I have this one on vinyl and CD), Merle Haggard & Willie Nelson, Houserockin' Music, Francoise Hardy, The Four Seasons, Peter Cook/Jonathan Miller/Spike Milligan/ Peter Sellers, Morris On ( a great album; I have this one), Glitter Band, Rubettes, Chas & Dave, Tony Hancock ( I have this one) and Holst Planets ... It always amazes me that charity shops were full of acts like Max Bygraves, and Ted Heath back in the 80's. Here we are nearly 50 years later and they are still taking up space in their record racks. Take care.
I love the Beatles medley squeezed between Greensleeeves and Rule Britannia on the Heritage record. This is why I love England
@@frenchvinyladdict as going through those albums I was unaware golden slumbers was an old folk song as on the Beatles abbey road so at least I learnt something.
I saw three to four that might be worth keeping in that first box. I do have that Heath vs. Ros (vol 1). I would have grabbed that Les Paul and Mary Ford comp.
I have that Di and Charles album. You're dumping Roy Orbison but keeping Richard Stilgoe? Make sure you take the butter out of the car! Thanks for the mention.
Liking the breeze blocks Martin.
Hi Rob, most will be going directly to the bin that was behind me. It was an interesting exercise. Glad it was at least some ones you'd not really seen before. I will be catching up on James Griffiths video too ASAP. Another week here and weather is very changeable like always here. I'm guessing you've been hard at work outside in the sunshine there? I've been playing alot of records this year some 30 years old I'm so glad I kept them all otherwise I'd not remember them to get them again. Highly unlikely to turn up and at a reasonable price too. 90s vinyl is so scarce but more reissues help everyone out. Cheers Rob, Martin.
‘He said he had more……and I thought oh no’ classic line! That was a terrible selection Martin……I felt myself reaching for excessive quantities of bourbon biscuits just to get through it. It was interesting to see the different packaging that US artists got for their UK budget compilations. Wouldn't you think that it would save money to recycle the covers? The Everly Brothers cover portrait was particularly dreadful. Still, I don't think that cutting costs in the art department really created a savings that got passed on to the buyer. That "Crosby Classics" LP is one of my most listened to albums. The music is very dated, but I really like Bing's recordings from the early 1930s. That ASV Living Era Bing Crosby compilation also has good tracks. My copy has a little white sticker that says "Made in England." That Merle Haggard/Willie Nelson record has become an entry-level collectable here in recent years. I usually see it priced at around $20 now. It was a clearance staple before Willie Nelson records got discovered by hipsters. The title track is great. Les Paul and Mary Ford will be worth a listen. Les' guitar playing is a treat for the ears. Bonus Trivia: Les Paul and Bing Crosby were early adopters of German tape-recording technology that was brought back to the USA as plunder. Les used the tape to pioneer multitrack recording. Bing used it to pre-record his radio show broadcasts. That Roy Orbison record has a good collection of hits that will sound great if the album got a good pressing. Cheers, Jacob
@@DallasOpenMicr I'm so sorry I've bunged bing in the bin. There are some truly dreadful illustrations out there (would it be fair to compare to Italian catholic Jesus?). We don't have made in England stickers or products anymore it's all UK though Wales, Ireland and Scotland can all feel good about themselves. I will try the hipster country here it's not hipster to my knowledge. Maybe ask Hedley he'll know more what they are clinging onto. Talking of clinging on looks like Donald will and Joe won't. Kamala in Finnish language means horrible.
@@Thevinylscavenger Willie and Merle aren't/weren't hipsters, but the hipsters have decided that they were far enough removed from mainstream country music that they are cool. It's hard to tell if the hipsters like the music as much as they like the image. Willie is the only elderly country entertainer who I've seen attract a young crowd at his live shows. Willie's mainstream hits, like "On the Road Again," get a strong reaction from youngest concert attendees. The twentysomethings go wild when they hear the familiar/nostalgic songs. (These are also the few songs that most actually know. They get bored and talk loudly during the deeper cuts.) I would imagine that many of the drunk young ladies who soulfully wave their beer cans in the air while swaying to the music don't actually own a single Willie Nelson album. Cheers, Jacob

That was one of the most unique variety of records that I have seen in a long time. I do not really know what to say about 90% of them. Because I am not really familiar with them. People like Marty Robbins, Peter Ustinov {I thought that he was an actor}, George Hamilton {an actor from here in the US who is always tanned} and Boxcar Willie I am aware of. But not their music. Manfred Mann and Pavarotti were nice finds. It was a longer video but interesting from start to finish Martin. Are you going to give each one of those a listen? That may take you some time to do so. But if so. I hope that some of them are much better than you may have expected. Have a nice week~ Rob/Boston
Hello Mr Scavenger. I swear one of those boxes was full of a bunch of country records I dumped at a charity shop a few years ago. I've got a couple of Jean Redpath records, she's quite a good Scottish folk singer who spent most of her later years in America or Canada. She has a nice voice, but there is a whiff of shortbread about her. I've got that Lewis Family record. Pretty good bluegrass gospel. My parents had that Gary and Vera Aspey album. I think they bought it at one of their gigs. I used to love it, the 8 year old me found the funny songs hilarious. Lots of music there that's become horrifically out of date. Makes one wonder what is the modern equivalent? You can't move for Robbie Williams CDs at the charity shop. Hed
@@anotherfatbeardedmantalkin5893 Robbie Williams you can keep his back catalogue thank you very much. Especially Angels with it's dodgy theological instabilities. It's possible it's the same box? Hilarious. I reckon the outlay was worth it because of the UK folk records. Rare stuff and some of the CDs were decent too. The Lewis Family. The Carter Family. Hmmmmm it'd be difficult to turn down the family and go and be a dairy farmer or an accountant.
A whiff of shortbread about her 😂😂😂
Hi Martin ,,funny that at one point these records were purchased and cherished finding out who bought them and why would be interesting, Harry , max , etc .. I’ve not been to many car boot sales in 2024 but a lot of those are pretty familiar
Different more innocent times. Quite a bit of nostalgia e.g. Max was 1989 and still reminiscing about WW2. Harry/Wales must've been a huge appeal for many how many got Woolworths budget label presents as stocking fillers for Xmas? Well I thought it was kinda different in retrospect maybe go back to some decent cool records next time. Hope you are enjoying the summer.
@@Thevinylscavenger summers been excellent, arsenal are going to be the ones to beat next season ⚽️
Loads of records there that I have flicked past at car boots. Plenty that are worth a listen for £50...If you sell on Discogs you could use them a packing and distribute them around the UK...No singles with them? You must go back for the rest...cheers Dale
@@gatefold33 packaging of course. No 7"s this time though there's a load I got previous time I didn't show I hope that's not a VC crime? I will ponder returning hope there's more Francoise Hardy suspect maybe more tat. Cheers, Martin.
Well, well, well... 🤔 Should I say money NOT well spent. 😬 It is what it is with these kind of bunches. Out of these the closest one that I might let into my collection would have been that Lambada maxi-single. I hope you have better luck next time, Jarkko/MyVinylBar
@@mrjape71 I've just gone through some of them to save the inner sleeves so not entirely a waste. Was good fun chucking them into my mum's wheelie bin hopefully not too heavy for her to push out.
Thanks for showing the English & Welsh & Irish rubbish rekkids. Ronnie Milsap (who is blind) was a big country star in the US in the 1970s and 1980s. Someone sure loved Ted Heath.
@@RekkidTalk poor Ronnie I feel really bad now. I reckon there's huge Atlantic crossover of same rubbish rekkids from videos you and others have shown. No polka here you'll be saddened to hear.
The Pasadena Roof Orchestra is great. I'd probably keep about six of them😂
@@berwickshiremike51 I'm not a completist Mike 🤣 or a sadist.
Ha,ha. I've seen all of these records about a million times in the last 40 years. I actually saw Shag Connors & the Carrot Crunchers support Canon & Ball at the Winter Gardens...Joy Division played there a month later! True story!
@@Harrispilton22 was it all good clean family fun? I liked Jasper Carrot 🥕 quite a bit, cannon & ball were itv we didn't watch much itv it was frowned upon.
“Polish jazz?”🤔
@@vikingbrace yes apparently so. NM of that goes for hundreds.
@@Thevinylscavenger 😳👍
I read that Kim Gordon book - I am not a Sonic Youth fan, so I am not sure why I read it. I found I didn't like her, or Thurston Moore. Leaving the covers in a container full of charcoal, maybe even kitty litter should do the trick. Lovely jazz in that whole bunch. The Iron Maiden 12" single cover is amazing - you MUST keep it just for that. Bonzo is a must keep as well - The Intro and Outro is outstanding. Why did Mofi do a Crystal Gayle record?
Charcoal okes someone else suggested laundry drying sheets. I've a Bono to read too he's another odd one. Who's your favourite autobiography by? Yeah Crystal Gayle on mofi is worth virtually nowt I don't really know her anyway.
@@Thevinylscavenger I really like Ozzy’s, and the biography on Warren Zevon was good even though I ended up disliking him as a person, I did respect him wanting the warts and all story to be put out there
