Добавлен 29 июл 2019
Very new at this, but I'm trying so please stick with me and watch the channel grow! Follow along as I take on projects with my Kioti compact tractor, maybe some construction projects and whatever else I can get into. Just bought a little land (15 acres), so I hope to bring you along as we build a new house and create a home on our new property.
Building My Shop ep 15 | LP Smart Siding
Getting to the end of the shop build. Installed the LP Smart siding & the garage doors. Next up, install shake siding on the gables and soffit/fascia trim. Pretty soon it will be time for a final inspection and I will finally be able to get the power turned on! Thanks for watching!

Took advantage of some leftover stone veneer from my house build and added a nice touch to my shop. Love how it looks so far. Thanks for watching. Stone: PlyGem, color: Chardonnay
Building My Shop ep 13 | Catching You Up | Roof, Electrical & What’s to Come
Просмотров 166Год назад
Catching you up on the shop build. Unfortunately I failed to video the roof going on so I wanted to show an update of where the shop stands now. Still lots to do but it’s moving forward.
Installing a Custom Grill Guard on My Kioti Tractor
Просмотров 4,1 тыс.Год назад
Purchased a custom grill guard from Broken Anvil Metal Works. Take a look and see how it’s installed. Thanks for watching!
Building My Shop ep 12 | Rafters | What the Kioti Can’t Do, the Snorkle Can
Просмотров 8802 года назад
Time to install the rafters on this 24x50 shop. Tried to make the Kioti work but it just couldn’t get me high enough in the air to reach the ridge. Rented a 19’ scissor lift to do the job. Come back for the next one and watch the sheathing go on. One step closer to getting the building in the dry! Thanks for watching!
Building My Shop ep 11 | Using Kioti Tractor to Set an LVL Garage Header
Просмотров 3722 года назад
The last of the headers. This one is an 18’ LVL beam to go over a 16’ garage door opening. It’s not terribly heavy, but having the Kioti CK2610 tractor with pallet forks saved the day…and my back! Next up, rafters! Come back and see how it’s done. Thanks for watching!
Building My Shop ep 10 | Small Headers and Top Plates
Просмотров 1252 года назад
Still waiting on the LVLs to be delivered so I can complete the 16’ door opening. Until then, I will install the 2 smaller headers and top plates. I’ll throw in a few tips along the way. Thanks for watching!
Building My Shop ep 9 | Walls pt 3
Просмотров 602 года назад
Framed the front wall today. Made a couple mistakes that could have been avoided. One more small step in the process complete! Thanks for watching!
Building My Shop ep 8 | Walls pt 2 - Sheathing
Просмотров 1002 года назад
Started putting up the wall sheathing where I could. Many areas where bracing is nailed, can’t be sheathed yet. Everything is more challenging doing things alone but that’s how I’ve always done it. Certainly a greater appreciation for hard work when it’s done. Thanks for watching!
Building My Shop ep 7 | Starting the Walls

Had a few struggles getting the walls going but, as I always do, I figure a way to make it happen.
Building My Shop ep 6 | Installing Mud Sill
Просмотров 4002 года назад
Lumber has arrived so now it’s time to do some wood work. Today, I installed the mud sill, a 2x8 pressure treated plate bolted to the top of the foundation wall. This is the 6th video in the Building My Shop series so if you haven’t yet, go check out the previous videos too! Thanks for watching!
Building My Shop ep 5 | Waterproofing the Foundation
Просмотров 2102 года назад
Ep 5 - Applying the waterproofing to the block wall using APOC Waterproofing. Applied with a 3/8” nap roller. Went on super easy but it’s some messy stuff! Check out the previous videos in the Building My Shop Series and follow along the future videos. Framing coming soon! Thanks for watching!
Building My Shop ep 4 | installing Anchor Bolts
Просмотров 3402 года назад
Next step in the process of building my 24x50 shop is to install the J-Bolts, or anchor bolts, since they’re not really a “J”. The bolts were installed in the block cores, 4’ on center and trying to keep in mind the wall stud locations so they don’t interfere with the studs. Other requirements went into the thought process so check the video out and see for yourself. Thanks for watching!
Building My Shop ep 3 | Laying the Block & Pouring Concrete
Просмотров 1612 года назад
Getting the block laid and the concrete pad poured. They set about 300 CMU block. A few days later, the slab passed inspection and 16 yards of concrete was poured. Now that the foundation is almost complete, I can get going on the framing. Few more things to do first so stay tuned for the upcoming videos. Thanks for watching!

I’m Out of Grass! | Kioti CK2610 Box Blading to Prep for a New Yard
Lesson learned - don't let my wife drive the mower...
Hello Would you get the same nail gun again? Looks great. Bancroft Ont Canada :)
It’s a lot easier to get into a jam than you think
Yeah often happens pretty quick!
Thanks for really excellent and well-done video! I know firsthand these are indispensable. I found out the hard way when a large stick flipped up and jammed through the radiator on my old tractor. The price of the new radiator is one thing, but the installation nightmare is another. On a side note: when installing the guard on my CK-2610 I notice that the fan blade is eroding away. Anyone else have this issue with their fan blade?
Yeah I had some close calls myself before installing the guard. Broken Anvil does a great job with these guards. Thank you
Got a Roague, happens more often when the cup holder has been emptied . Just ask my Bride of 37 years 😅
Im thinking you should have purchased something like a ventrac or a kut Kwik instead of a lawnmower
Lol. Got to push em to the limit.
I don’t think you should park there.
Looks like ya got a loose nut behind the wheel!
This could happen to any mower
zero turns are not good on uneven ground or sloped surfaces. If you go straight up and straight down you are in better shape. Live and learn.
Yeah they’re not good at all on banks unless you’re going up and down
Put atv tires on it, makes s huge difference
Will need to try that
I wish you would have lifted the bucket up So we could see how low the guard got.
That could get out of there.
Remember it's a lawn mower not an ATV UTV
Still a good mower. Just hate turf tires.
If you are looking for more traction with your mower, I bought these and they are wonderful (Amazon, (2) 20x12.00-10 Tires OTR 38 Special 6 Ply Aggressive Replaces Hustler 601348) I mow in a very wet, muddy area, and these tires made all the difference.
Nice, I’ll take a look. Thanks
Thanks for the video. I watched it before I installed my. It was a big help.
When dollars is less than sense.
There is a grease zerk behind the right tire, WAY up high, you have to have your head next to the inside of the tire and a flash light looking up. And its at a weird angle so I can't get to it with my quick connect, had to buy a separate little HF grease gun just for that zerk. I have a 2019 CK2610HST. My dealer didn't know about this zerk either as far as I can remember. I asked for a "zerk tour" twice when I've been in and he's had my model in the shop. And yes the manual sucks as it tries to be one manual for many different models. Thanks for the tip on tightening the bolts by the zerks.
I sure do have a very hard time getting grease in that front fitting and can't get the fitting off either any ideas ?
I’m at a loss as well. I think I’ve gotten it to work 1 or 2 times. I don’t get it either.
I have to same problem, biggest worry i have front end squeaks when i have load in my bucket. I even tried adjusting that bolt with the luck nut seemed to help when i had the bold out i saw grease coming out. Maybe time to call the dealer tech.
I have the same issue of no grease going into the front-front axle zerk fitting. BTW, there are 4 zerks (as far as I know, the manual sucks) on the chassis of my CK2620. One under the 3-pt height lever linkage, one on the clutch linkage and the two on the front axle pivot. Plus the ones on the 3-pt adjustment arms, they are easy to see. Thanks for the video and PSA. - N Idaho -
I punctured my old oil filter first and let it drain for a while and then put a plastic bag under it. It barely dripped at all and the bag caught it all.
Need to pre-fill the filters before installation.
Is your bed/deck 20 ft or does 20 ft include the tongue? Thanks
The deck is 20’ (not including the tongue)
Lol I got a bad boy ZT Avenger and they will make you feel like they can do just about anything. I understand brother you had to try it lol.
No doubt! I’m still very happy with mine. Good luck with yours!
Thanks for taking time to do this an how you do it well told.
Good to see you again and it looks great, thanks
Thank you sir
That hitch insert looked to be a welded tubular insert which is only rated for #5000 pounds max. Throw that insert in the trash and get a solid steel one with a matching ball that both exceed the gvw of the trailer. Mine I got from TSC and is a solid forged steel unit rated for about 27,000 pounds along with a 1-1/4" shank ball that is about 16,000 pound rating. You do not want to have that expensive tractor and trailer passing you on the highway and killing someone in an accident that will be YOUR FAULT for not using proper equipment and possible prison for doing so if someone dies.
I just boight a brand new 2023 kioti ck2620 and completely blew a hose 4 hours in. Talk about junk, I couldnt believe it. I could replace it pretty easily but i feel like the dealership should cover it for free 😔
Yeah seems to me like they should cover that with 4 hours in.
The tube receiver is metric is why it’s loose if you put electrical tape on the hitch it will help with the rattle
Great tip. Thanks
Great video. Thanks
Thank you
Can anybody tell me where the drain is for the oil? I know it sounds stupid, but all of the service manuals say that there is a black tube coming from underneath the oil filter. I know that's the kohler engine, but it's really difficult to find any kind of instructional video on the ZT avenger, 60-in deck, Briggs & Stratton 724 cubic inch engine. Anyway, just asking. Can't believe they would make it this difficult to change the oil.
There is an ole timer on youtube that shows how to do all the maintanance items.
Somebody mentioned you needed to put more weight on the back of the trailer that is absolutely the most dangerous thing you can do you need to balance the load out to where you have a little bit of the load on the front the more on the back the more dangerous it is actually for that tractor you should have got a longer trailer and keep the tractor tires about middle ways between the two back axles are a little ahead which is preferred the main thing is the weight you have on the back of your truck
How is the mower holding up? Im looking at one now.
It has done great. I’m pretty happy with it
Did you already have the remote rear ports already installed ? If not what kit did you use
Yes they were installed by dealer when I purchased the tractor
Nice trailer though
Chalking all them tires you must think that it's going to roll away that easy? I'm all for safety but. Some things can be a little Overkill
Hardly overkill imo
Does it still fold down?
Yea it does. Still works as it should
Nothing will ever grow in that spot again.
Holy Moly. That’s a lot of land. Thanks for the video
Thank you
That looks amazing! I love it!
I agree with Rick it looks very good and you do nice work, thanks for the video
Thank you
Would be nice if they didn’t use kubota orange. I’d like one with kioti cut out not the big head.
Yeah orange doesn’t really match as good as I hoped. Maybe after it fades some
Try painting it with Chevy red engine paint. It’s supposed to be a pretty close match. Much cheaper than Kioti’s touchup spray paint.
For what it's worth, I think it looks good. The randomness of the layers makes it look old world.
I agree. Thank you
Thanks for making the video definitely would like to see a video on how the lights perform at night. Tractor on
Looks great. Well worth the money to install this. Saves the front grill and radiator from major damage. Enjoyed the video.
Thank you. I agree
Glad to see you are back and it looks just fantastic, thanks for the update, John
Impressive!
Thanks for the video. I will be getting this.
I think you will like it. Simple install. Thank you
