I have the same issue of no grease going into the front-front axle zerk fitting. BTW, there are 4 zerks (as far as I know, the manual sucks) on the chassis of my CK2620. One under the 3-pt height lever linkage, one on the clutch linkage and the two on the front axle pivot. Plus the ones on the 3-pt adjustment arms, they are easy to see. Thanks for the video and PSA. - N Idaho -

Thanks for this. I just picked up my CK2610HST today, and will probably not put on the full 50 hours for a few weeks, but I wanted to make sure I got all the stuff ahead of time. I also want to thank you for showing the mishap with the filter seal -- it can happen to anyone, and giving a heads up is a great PSA. Thanks a lot!

There is a grease zerk behind the right tire, WAY up high, you have to have your head next to the inside of the tire and a flash light looking up. And its at a weird angle so I can't get to it with my quick connect, had to buy a separate little HF grease gun just for that zerk. I have a 2019 CK2610HST. My dealer didn't know about this zerk either as far as I can remember. I asked for a "zerk tour" twice when I've been in and he's had my model in the shop. And yes the manual sucks as it tries to be one manual for many different models. Thanks for the tip on tightening the bolts by the zerks.

Looks like the O ring from the old filter stuck to the case. Your gonna want to remove it

When you put your cartridge air filter back in you rotated the outer cover. The rubber dust trap needs to go on the bottom. As far as the axle pivot grease fitting I have not had any problems with mine but try cleaning it with brake cleaner or may have to put a new one on. They are dirt cheap. Just threaded in. I use a ridge nozzle on my grease gun. I find it easier to use.

Yeah I readjusted the air filter cover after I noticed it was rotated. I think the axle grease fitting may need replaced. Thank you

I like putting the date and hour meter reading on the filters.

I actually saw that tip by watching Hometown Acres. Great idea.

I punctured my old oil filter first and let it drain for a while and then put a plastic bag under it. It barely dripped at all and the bag caught it all.

You should verify if you need to grease the fittings on hidden drive shaft from engine to hydrotatic unit. Have remove pedals and gloir board to access. First trouble sign is engine stalling . Then won't stay running. Good luck.

You also might want to check out Wranglerstar's video on grease guns -- I did not know about the fancy pull-lock tips, and ordered one with a new grease gun for the tractor. I'll also get a little toolbox to keep the grease gun and common tools in. These are separate from the full maintenance kit, and a minimal set of tools I try to keep one with each vehicle.

I’m at a loss as well. I think I’ve gotten it to work 1 or 2 times. I don’t get it either.

Lift the front end when greasing the fitting for the axle pivot, should more readily take grease. see if there's another fitting on the back side too.

@@freedomfilledlife have weight on the back, like a tiller, and tilt the bucket down to lift the tires.
