Honestly, at this point, the whole "Primes were the original Orokin versions of the Warframes" lore is now in question given the fact that a Primed version of Revenant, who only gained his current form long after the fall of the empire, exists. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if it's revealed that was only true for *some* Primes, particularly those of older frames, and that the Tenno eventually reverse-engineered the techniques the Orokin used to Prime their frames and applied the Priming method to newer ones like Revenant, possibly Xaku, Lavos, Dagath, etc. in the future. Maybe Valkyr Prime being based on post-Alad Valkyr was due to her being one of the new Post-Orokin Primes, and that the original Gersemi version was only discovered by the Tenno _after_ the Priming research for Valkyr based on the skinned variant was already underway.

Former player here, over 1000 hours I think can't be bothered to reinstall to check. Hearing about this is ultimately why I gave up on this game a few years ago. In spite of how mediocre the new content was getting and their selling out to Tencent, it's this that finally made me realise how bad DE are. Since this has been policy long before their sellout. While I am lucky enough to have never been hit with this, and never had my plat reduced, there is always the risk of it happening eventually. And that's a risk I'm not willing to take. I refuse to even touch this game and I discourage as many people as I can from playing, and especially spending. DE themselves are in the wrong for putting a ransom on innocent players' accounts instead of just removing the balance from the account that bought it. Period. We all know why as well: They can't extort someone who never intended to actually play by the rules. But some innocent players are willing to fork over money to be given the things they have spent time and work and even money on back. This is just as much DE's fault as the perps. They are 100% responsible for the policy of ransoming the accounts innocent players, no ifs or buts, they have entirely of their own free will, made their policy anti-player, and the solution to not getting a bad rep stares them in the face: Don't punish the trader who recieves the bad plat unless you can prove they are in on it, period. Reduce the plat balance from the guilty account, and IP block the guilty account. If you can't prove the recieving party was guilty, do not punish. Some things are entirely black and white, and this is one such thing.

Honestly I thought of death stranding too, but ngl despite the quests many flaws I absolutely loved it. Mainly because of how it kinda gives stalker some redemption/ remnants of his past self. Because from the very beginning of our journey as the Tenno, Stalker is implied to have some kind of painful past. What it is we never really knew in its entirety. But now we have a clearer picture, and him taking that part of his past back in the form of his son is fucking beautiful to me. I’m sure his arc/ story isn’t complete, but at least he can finally be eased of his pain a little bit. Honestly got me in the mood to wanna replay death stranding again.

Well about the part of some warframe being prime at the start and others having to earn it is due to one reason mainly and not the Tenno. Warframes used to be humans they had their individuality before going mad and needing a Tenno to calm down in the empathetic link between them. So what I believe is that it took a good while for warframes to go mad it may have lasted years before they did and what we learn from Kullervo's lore is that not all of them went mad and they were the ones who were still normal. What I believe is that when the warframes were still sane and operated as intended like some super soldiers they may have gotten some challenges and tasks and tests to which they had to succeed to become Primed and it's not due to the Tenno earning it someways. The tenno may have appeared way later on cause we don't know for how long the Zariman ship was still lost before its return and the warframe project started before the Zariman ship came back and even when it returned the tennos were sealed in cryo pods and their utility was only discovered only when the warframe projected started to get scrapped in Rhino's prime lore. People say second-generation frames were falling limp directly if they didn't have a tenno and so far there is no proof of that. Their argument is they had a tenno from the start so yeah the human that was still inside didn't have thoughts anymore or some stuff like that, but what I believe is that things continued as usual. Orokin's paired the new warframes directly with a tenno as a countermeasure for the new frames to not go rogue and what followed was every warframe worked with it's tenno and the link and controls between them we still don't know what's the exact relation.

Watching these videos make me remember how horrible the grind was in the early days of warframe. I still remember grinding for 2 days just to craft Cronus.

yea imo you could have outlined the naming better protoframe/protowarframe so protoframe/protowarframe is the new canonical term for the albrecht named partial frames from his altered 1999. gen 1 fan term for pre operator frames (contains self) mean of the original frames gen 2 fan term for post operator frames (missing active self) original frames reissued Umbra 1 known memory prison frame. Prime old lore originals (new lore honored version) normal old lore tenno built versions. (new lore various case by case bases)

I hope people really understand warframe has pay to win mechanics, but it doesn't mean it's a bad game. People should define what is winning in warframe first in warframe. Winning in WF is having better loot, weapons, warframe, cosmetics, and more effective way to play the game. Winning can also just be having fun for others, regardless of how long they played the game. That is winning in this game. Pay for convince/ pay to skip/ pay to progress are all ways for you to by pass and win the game. Now, there is a negative stigma on "pay to win" but i hope people understand as long as its fair and doesn't ruin the fun in the game for you then there is no problem. I wont try to defend warframe cause in a perfect world we don't need this pay to win elements but thats the thing, they still need to earn money some how, its just that for many people they see this as fine, fair, or good enough for the time being.
