Dude kevin hearts been ruining movies lately all the way from jamanji till now tf is up with hollywood sitting on his lap

You know, I saw the movie, and I didn’t really see what was all that bad with it. Yeah, some parts felt shallow, and the story wasn't like a one-to-one adaptation, but I thought it was alright given the simple plot of the first game. So obviously, it wasn't the greatest, but as a Borderlands fan, I still enjoyed it. Honestly, it feels like everyone nowadays is just extremely polarized when it comes to opinions and projects. Like, why does it have to be that you either love it or hate it? Can't people just simply enjoy things anymore?

And all it took was the best story delivery system on the planet..... anime 🤣 well second best I guess can't really beat a book

Oh no, the movie isn’t good. Yeah, it’s a movie about a game from fucking over 10 years ago. The game that has no story in it.

I've said this time and time again, if you want to make a live adaptation of an open world game or story, make your own characters. It is the exact reason why the Fallout tv series did so well because it was new characters no one has ever heard of, allowing them to take their characters in whatever direction they want. If it's an already established character, you have to get the character done just right and get perfect casting. Otherwise, people are gonna hate it.
