Dan have you heard any news about any improvements to the Tinker model ideally options for making it more adaptable for light off road if needed ? In fact anything 20” wheel related updates would be exciting. Tern has also got some great models of course.

Seen the shifter on the Rohloff stand on Cycling World Europe in Dusseldorf Germany in march this year. Rohloff will release this shifter in Q4 2024. You can also find it in the news sector on the Rohloff internet site.

For that price it reallt should have wireless seat post.

I've got the present gen Superdelite and am very glad I got it, not happy with all what they're doing here. The bad - Too much plastic! Looks cheap for this ultra high end bike - That fabric top tube battery case is RIDICULOUS, I'd hate that stupid thing - The rack is nowhere as cool and nice as the older one - The older SD looks like a serious machine, the overall look of this is of a cheaper bike - A built in useless bike look that will stop nobody is a step down - No electronic horn?! Anybody can put a dinky bell on there, the horn is a step up - Kiox display, when will they ever come out with a Smart Nyon? - I like the Rohloff old shifter better, better style, this trigger shift looks plastic cheap The Good - I do like the Purion addition, but the Smart buttons are worse - The welds are smoother which is nice - Smart solution for the battery cover, but they should have don that for both tubes - The catch for the beld pretensioner is nice - Dual piston on front and back. For the life of me I have no idea why R&M went single piston on my back, I might upgrade someday I was thinking of getting a second Superdelite like the Mountain version, now no thanks ...

I see in your video the same problem that I have with the “statistics” section, the map not always showing the routes only the km and the other details, can you say why?

My question is will the range extender deplete first (so I can stash it on the trail and pick it up later, and not have to carry it) when it’s plugged into my frame before draining my main battery? Or, does it drain both batteries equally? Per my first question, this was the case with the shimano range extender found on Norco Range Emtbs with the e8000 motor and very convenient.

The UK is such a regulated country. 15 mph is a joke, and you'll be passed by standard peddle bike owners. Pay all that money for a tortoise. My Delite is a high-speed 25mph. What happened to the Delite mountain.

Still no USB charging port? I have a Superdelite and love it. I can see me buying another one when the battery life is doubled. Currently I get 70 miles on Tour which is too little for me so I have a second set of batteries which works OK. I need min 100 miles on Tour.

Looked at this brand - and quickly looked away. Can buy a nice car for what they charge...

I own an older R&M, they’re nice bikes, but the pricing is insane. At £8k, these new models are only a few quid away from where a BMW CE-04 is now discount selling at - which is a complex fully equipped e motorbike with much larger motor, much larger battery, and full road safety equipment.

European 250W restriction is crazy. 🤪

Looking at the Mixte version of this bike for the girlfriend. Can it easily be kitted out with a decent front rack for a basket/crate? The R&M website doesn't really have accessories separate from the configurator.

With a '45' Speed e-bike you only need (perhaps) five gears. Six if you live in the mountains. I never use ECO and only very rarely use Tour. The normal mode is Sport with Turbo for climbing steeper hills. 50 miles/80km range on variable terrain with loaded panniers. So I carry a spare 625Ah Bosch battery for the return journey. "Slow" e-bikes are an absolute farce. Granny bikes! Wide range gearboxes are simply a passing fad. Yawn! Where is the new battery chemistry? That's the real and ONLY game changer. Not some pretend motorcycle gearbox from a 1960s 50cc racing bike. Which could do well over 100mph! Not a pathetic 15.5mph/25kph!!

The Pinion MGU bike motor is the only ebike motor technological development that is truly a game changer. I would even argue, it is a paradigm shift in ebike motor technology. Other ebike motors are just copies and updates of the best mid drive ebike motor that money can buy, which is a Bosch ebike motor. But Pinion, changed that with the MGU. I hope Bosch makes a similar version.

I have a Riese and Mueller Charger with 11 speed Shimano gears. I only ever need gears 5 to 9, the others are totally redundant on an ebike. A 600% gearbox or a Rohloff are just money down the drain, pointless.
