Looks great on a sunny day in May. I don’t understand how this works at all. Chickens flying away, coons coming in. Cows knocking down that flimsy fence to eat the chicken feed. Chickens roosting on the roof. I can think of about a million ways this would be a disaster, but somehow they get away with it.

I let my gals out in late afternoon to forage fir bugs, grass etc. They are destructive if left out for long. Also, predators find out quickly where free food is!

I sold all my produce with roadside stands and made great money doing it (supported a family of four). People simply bought what I had and did not complain if I was out of something. They stopped several times per week (on their way home from work) and I sold out every day. Never got a complaint about prices (I was twice as much as the grocery store) and they loved the quality!

I was diagnosed with RA and Hashimotos. For 20 years I took cycle after cycle of prednisone , kennallogg and that other crap so I could roughneck and feed my family. At 48 I eliminated everything except meat and animal fat. In 2 months I dropped 48 lbs( working 12 hr tours) , I haven't had so much as a Tylenol since. Now at 50 I am nonsymptomatic for Hashimotos , Zero Arthritis... better by a long shot at 50 than at 25. ... buddy did the same with Crohns disease (dropped 65000 a month in steroid and meds) .... my wife kicked symptoms of menopause... the grain is poison to us. I provide a wonderful short life for em... I name em... I play with em... when it's time I set them free gently and consume their accumulated nutrition. It is so much better I get queezy thinking about eating sugary poisons I used to abuse. Anywho , hope it helps you .

YES!!!! I keep telling my subs that AI has been around forever. Free range with fresh air and sunshine is the way to do it, always has been. Avian flu has been the same darn scare every year I've had my own chickens, over 20 years. My flocks have NEVER contracted ANYTHING and we live in the mountains with millions of wild birds here. Folks need to wise up. Do not buy from flea markets, auctions (EVEN Amish) or random people. Biosecurity is in order every day. It is always the mono-cultures that contract disease because it spreads like wildfire in crowded conditions. Thank you, will share this. ~Cynthia
