Always great advice from Joel. I just bought a cow and two calves this week and I have a secure area for them, but need to work on building a head gate and more fencing in other areas.

These are great ideas. We hang cans on the electric fence to help brake them to hot wire. Also make sure the corral material boards or pannels are on the inside of the fence posts. That way they can’t push them out.

How do you adjust fences and head gates for cattle that have long horns?

I'm working with cattle all my life..every day...cattle r like people all different personalities...I have milk cows and highland cows and there almost like working with 2 different species.your yard needs to b full proof..strong tall and every gate swinging and latching...I like ur videos cause u can do it with ur hands not just talk about it..
