If I'm streaming with a Belabox setup and need a microphone connected via USB, will this microphone work in such way?
If you could only have one lens and two to choose from, your choices are Leica 50mm 1.4 pre-asph ver 2 or the Light Lens Lab 50mm 1.2 "1966" lens. Which one would you choose? I'm debating between those two lenses.
That’s a tough choice 🤣🤣… The 1966 is massive and you need to get the aluminium version as it is lighter. If you like small lenses, leica is the way to go. 1966 is a special lens though. I honestly would pick the 1966 as I prefer the way it renders compared to the lux.. Be sure to get the aluminium or the titanium version if you do. The brass one is very heavy
@@robbiesumantri thank you for replying so quickly. Thanks for your honest opinion. Since I have a black paint MP I'll probably get the black one, even if its heavy. I use to be a wedding photographer and carried a Nikon D3s with a 70-200mm lens all day long so I'm sure it can't be that heavy, lol
@@robbiesumantri I'm watching your videos as we speak. It must be around 9-10am out by you I presume.
Thank you so much for watching.. It is currently 8am 🤣🤣
@@robbiesumantri absolutely
I like your sense of humor, lol

I did have one odd question seems no one is covering it with these type of cameras. My question being is how does it handle shooting in the rain getting wet? I see no like a user's posting videos of how to handle extreme Weather with the camera. Thoughts , experiences or future video?
It has no weather sealing rating and that includes the digital cameras… I don’t think anyone including me is willing to risk damaging the camera. It fits the “leica” culture.. We’re posh and unwilling to shoot in the rain 🤣🤣 Thank you for stopping by
i knew you could use this with the pocket 3 despite what others saying you can't, Nice Video
Usb c receiver absolutely works on the pocket 3. It also allows charging which is awesome
is this a local brand or..
Nope.. Hollyland comes from the land of the pandas
Call Karl at NJ camera shop in short hills nj. he may still have it. it. it's grey or silver shoots low contrast. it's been a few months since I've seen it
Ahh asked about, it’s an f1.5 85mm summarex… not f1.8… And it is ltm mount…
Leica made an 85 1.8. some years ago
Interesting.. Mind sending a link? I can’t find anything about it on the internet
Waiting for mine to arrive as well as the 35. Great review and the port is excellent to showcase it. Thanks!
Congrats!!! Thx for stopping by
because 99% of the people who buy consumer cameras don't want to bother to edit. BUt I agree for prosumer grade cameras and above it should be RAW. Consumer grade, they can leave it at jpeg
Agreed.. thx for stopping by
File size. Duhhh
It isn’t about not shooting jpegs but the camera defaulting to jpeg only. It’s like buying a supercar with it being defaulted to eco mode
I do motorsport photography with A7ii. Sometimes, i shoot on JPEGS for the burst shot cuz the shutter more faster than raw 😅.
Understandable. What I was talking about is the camera defaulting to jpeg only. I do not have a problem with people shooting jpegs but with the default camera settings. Imagine buying a 60mp camera and having it set to 12mp out of the box
Sir: you are not reviewing a Leica lens. Your lens is built by Light Lens Lab.
I need to edit that title.. thx for pointing it out. It does say lll in the thumbnail though
The images are impressive and captivating. I will definitely explore this vendor further to see what they offer.
Thank you so much sir.
Hi, i really enjoyed this clip. Why looks your colours that Nice? I always struggel with mine. Did you use Lightroom?
I did use lightroom to edit the photos. Thank you for watching 🙏🙏
Im with the manufacturers with this one 😅
Interesting. Thx for watching
keren om thank you 🔥

Issues that really matter...
Matters to me
Bcoz not everyone are like you?
Default it to raw + jpeg then and let people opt out of shooting raw.
You're the very first to mention the black paint isn't the actually the glossy black paint... Just bought one and always assumed it was glossy!
Unfortunately it isn’t. I would love it to be that though

Mudah2an kak 🤣🤣
I have the latest version and I absolutely love it. I am more of a 35mm shooter but with the 50 lux I spend more time shooting 50mm now lol
You need a 28mm now dude.. with those 2, you’ll be INVINCIBLE!!! Maybe not quite.. but you’ll have a lot covered with the 28, 50 combo
@ I have the 35mm Summicron and 28mm summaron. I barely shoot 28mm but I have to say the summaron has an amazing rendering. In theory I am invincible lol … goods dreams to have hehehe
What a good story.
Best lens you can get, for the SL system. Over rated for the M system if you don’t have a M3 or a evf. The M system is a 35mm lens system I would argue it’s not even great for 28mm. Looking forward to all the “Leica experts” saying I’m wrong. They will all end up with a 35mm summicron asph sooner or later.
It’s a matter of preference I think, the world would be a boring place if everyone agrees with the same thing. For what it’s worth, my favourite lens for the m is easily the 8e from lll. Thank you for stopping by.
its a joke !))) nobody calls it fiddi .its . it is not apo lens bunch a dumb asses said it although it takes no brains to shutter this *statement* for one who shot with this lens in even tiniest amount of light and shadow.( just go shot a tree and see it for yourself if you haven't ). this lens has by far worst CA in leica range being right next to 1.2 noct and 1.4 steel rim . on top of that it has mid dip that bigger than Grand Canyon . no matter 1.4 or f8 mid frame NEVER be sharp . from technical perspective/ standpoint this lens is pure trash . from leica‘s enthusiasts - if you want bright /fast 50 there aren't any options except aforementioned 1.2 . ergo we all have or had luxes . but some as I myself are objective and honest in seeing for what this lens is and others 99‘9 percent convince themselves that their possessions any kind ( house , car, bike, watch , nike sneakers , relatives for this matter ) are the best ´which is sad @georges_angeles
I need one of these. It appears too tight for the shot you did for this video. The chicken lady would have looked amazing with a Summilux 28mm (review it next?) the 50 was way too tight. The duck shot was amazing. For street work the 50 lux may be too creamy, I like the terse hard look of a cron on the street. Great video as usual.
Thx so much.. Yeah I was waayyy too close to her for a 50mm… I agree, the fiddy is too “nice” for my tastes as well. I prefer the elcan but, when you need that f1.4, I think this lens is the benchmark..
My 50 lux is my favorite Leica lens. Maybe it’s a placebo effect, but I feel the images pop more than on my Nokton 50. Needing to extend the duration at the end😂
It is probably the most balanced lens. Yeah.. I have a problem with lasting long enough…
close focus version still has some degree of ninja star bokeh, it's just lessened. also it has significantly improved edge/corner performance wide open which is rarely relevant but nice I guess. central sharpness of this lens is still one of the highest on the market, it's closer to the 50 apo cron than v5 at f2
Thx for pointing these out. Like i said, the designer has said that ths fiddy is actually an apo.
@@robbiesumantri I have read what Karbe said and sure. I would not overvalue that, apochromatic lens designs only necessitate a level of color correction, the sharpness of the lens is much more complicated than that. Nikon released an apochromatic 50mm f3.5 lens in the 1950s, yet that 5 element lens did not so significantly outperform the competition that is forced other makers to react. It just sort of faded into history.
@TCMx3 thank you for the info.. I did not know that. At the end of the day, you can’t go wrong with a fiddy..
Butuh waktu berapa lama kalo hunting di pasar, bro
Ngga tentu si, 2 jam an kurang lebih
Thanks for an interesting video, Robbie. I enjoy your take on the Leica ecosystem. The 50mm Summilux is my favorite, too. (Mine is the pre-ASPH v.2 from 1962) But, I'm also shooting the 35mm Thypoch Simera while my 35mm Summicron v.4 goes back to Wetzlar for repair. Seeing you and others make such a positive contribution to the photography conversation online is inspiring. Good luck with what you're doing.
Thx for stopping by. Honestly, the fiddy isn’t my favorite “leica” lens. That would be the LLL 50mm f1.2 1966. I am saying that it is my first and only choice when it comes to leica native lenses. Thypoch is awesome. Have you tried the 28 or the 50?
Gokil🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

1:27 a line that hit home... This documentary/vlog has certainly given me the motivation to continue working consistently towards something that isn't giving me any results yet. I feel that is the thing about building channels on any platform be it RUclips or Instagram. And yes it is so much harder to not be lazy and do something actually productive, something im lacking right now. Cheers to your journey man, rooting for your success!! 💜
Thx so much dude, yeah consistancy and trying to ensure that the quality is up to a certain standard can be the most difficult bit
Cool to hear about your RUclips journey, I think I subscribed to your channel when you returned to RUclips 5-6 months ago. 1. You can who subscribed to your channel on the RUclips studio page if they’re not private. 2. I used a GoPro suction cup mount on my windshield and attached the DJI magnet mount to it. 3. Keep doing your thing boss 💪
You’ve been an awesome support to me. Cheers man. I want something possibly magnetic like magsafe.. too much to ask?
All the best broww..
Cheers man
The photos you showed remind me of photos I have taken with the Canon 50/1.2 LTM lens. There are likely differences in the shape of bokeh circles, but the 3D pop and corner blur seems very similar.
Never tried the canon. I’m sure there are similarities
I bought one last week. Love it. Can’t stop holding it. Hope you get one. Cheers
Oh wow!!! Congrats!!!
Amazing video and awesome pictures. Your tips are very helpful. Do you use any particular color presets, since your images have such a pleasant pastel sort ot tint? Secondly, do you always shoot with live view; is this perhaps less intrusive and better for street photography rather than focusing through the RF window? And finally, you think you would you be able to nail focus with f1.4 or 2.8 or is f4-8 the standard aperture for street? I am using an SL2-S but your videos on the m11 really make me think the RF is the real thing.
Thanks so much! Glad you found the video and tips helpful! Here comes my opportunity for a shameless plug 🤣🤣.. About the pastel tones-that’s all thanks to my Shinwa Presets Pack. If you like that subtle, dreamy vibe in my images, the presets are exactly what I use. Definitely worth trying out! Buy them now from robbiesumantri.bigcartel.com Sales pitch over.. As for live view vs. rangefinder, I mostly use live view out of habit from my Sony days. It’s great for tricky angles or when I want to get compositions lined up perfectly. That said, I’ve been using the RF viewfinder more and finding it surprisingly quick and accurate now that I’ve gotten the hang of it. Both have their uses, so it really depends on the situation. Shooting wide open, like at f/1.4 with a 50mm or f/2 with a 90mm, is definitely doable, but yeah, it’s easy to miss focus. I usually stick to f/4-f/8 for street photography since it’s more forgiving, but when you nail focus wide open, the results are worth it. As for SL2-S vs. M11-I wouldn’t say there’s a “real thing.” The SL2-S is an amazing camera! The M11 just offers a different experience. Both are great, so shoot with what feels right for you.
nice video, love it! Can you make a video about halation and how you edit it?

That sounds awesome.. I’ll start stealing lens caps
What is that Tri-pod ?
It’s an old mini tripod from smallrig
Bruh I thought the wall's are green screen
Hahahahaha I don’t understand why it turned out that way
the aperture ring was not designed to copy Nikon - it is designed, as the lens, for cold weather use. the tab on top allows for you to be able to eaily manipulate the aperture ring with gloves on.
That’ll defo be useful. The direction of the aperture is influenced by nikon gear though.
just bought my Leica MP today. Its beautiful!
