    I have this lens in black. The plastic hood is fugly and I refuse to use it on the lens, think it looks way better without the hood too. Haven't had any issues with lens flares. Build quality is incredible, and focusing is super easy and smooth. Love the images you shot in that market.

      Thank you so much… That is not a lens hood, that is an abnormal growth 🤣

    How did the 28 leicas compare with the thypoch 28? I look forward to your honest opinions

    • @robbiesumantri
      @robbiesumantri  5 месяцев назад

      The thypoch is pretty close to the 28mm summilux. But, there are some design flaws on the m mount versions that I know they can fix, but refuse to. The infinity lock, the aperture ring which is annoyingly uneven, and the lack of a focus tab. All fixed in the other mounts apart from the M and the new 50 Simera.
      Hope they decide to update the older M mount lenses. I think the majority of leica shooters don’t mind buying an updated lens.
      Apart from that, the leica has more depth, more “3d” pop. Is the summilux 10x better because it’s 10x more expensive? Not really

      @@robbiesumantrithats a very interesting findings! Ive decided to get the voigtlander 28 instead in the mean time. Couldn’t decide if the thypoch would be better or not. But i guess theres no wrong choice to go either voigt or thypoch

    • @robbiesumantri
      @robbiesumantri  5 месяцев назад

      @@fauzanjamahat1 I really think that is a solid choice. Chinese manufacturers are certainly making japanese and german lens makers sweat a bit

    How do you compare those to the voigtlanders?

    • @robbiesumantri
      @robbiesumantri  6 месяцев назад +1

      Voigtlanders are awesome. Some of the best performing lenses available on the market. The ultron is very sharp but gives up a bit of micro contrast so the images are comparatively flat. Lack of depth and 3d pop compared to the leica cron. But, it’s nitpicking and cutting it close.

    28mm: Elmarit or Summicron?

    • @robbiesumantri
      @robbiesumantri  6 месяцев назад +1

      I will go summicron if the budget allows it. Especially that new close focus one.
