Hopefully you went with the Toyota ones. Just by looking at them I can tell the Toyota ones are much much better quality

My niche question is. I have an LED day time running lights in my car already but the turn signal is halogen and it turns on- on a different place from the day time running lights. I would like to keep the daytime running lights that’s already in the car however, I’d like to have an LED turn signal that replaces the day time running lights when u turn it on. Most new cars have that now. How would u do it?

Will the strut come in contact with the weather strip plastic cowl below the windshield?

Great video. I have a watch it several times already as a morale booster before tackling this project.I have just the vertical accent lights similar to the XSEs. My RAV4 is 2022. I’ll just set them up in a way their always on when the vehicle is on. Similar to the raptor lights. The yellow wire to the signal light. The black and white wires. Is Black on the negative and white the positive? Appreciate your input. Thanks

Just want to say thanks for your video. It got me through my install. Only issue with my install was losing one of the clips which landed on top of my skid plate. Getting that clip out took longer than the rest of the install.

So are you attaching that to the rubber seal, or actually on the metal of the door between the rubber seal. No one is really saying.

Are the small amber lights in the centre drl as well?

Thanks for the tutorial. Simple and to the point. Update. 05/25/2024: I just put my remote start system in. Aside from a couple of hiccups due to my not paying close enough to the directions and illustrations in this tutorial, the installation went pretty much straight forward. Thanks again for this tutorial. (My install was into a 2024 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium.)

I bought this primarily for the back of the seats. I had the OEM trunk mat and placed that on top and it flattened out. If you get this, it will rip up the back of the seat with the velcro if you remove it in the future, but it does give you that extra protection if you want. IMO, install it and leave it. Hope that helps. I'm not a bot :)

Everything seems to work, but has anyone had any issues with automatic headlights turning on after dark, mine won’t flip over from DRL. Found that out when I left some where, didn’t seem bad with my DRL reflecting off buildings windows and stuff, but then I got on a road which no street lights and holy crap I couldn’t see anything, it was my first time driving it at night. Don’t know if I bought it used like that or if something isn’t connecting right with all this wiring. Anyone else have issues??

How does this work, my default indicator light only comes on when i flip the switch, how will it get the power to stay on?

If you transport things you don’t want others to see, this product is perfect for you. It does that very well. The only drawback is when you’re not using it, there’s no where to put it. Mine is in the shed atm. Perhaps when I travel with luggage I will reinstall it.

I followed your video and instructions and it was easy. Fitted and working after 5 minutes. Tricky part was threading wire behind dash - but again after a few gentle attempts it all went easily. Very happy and now that blank switch is active and useful. Thanks and send a link if you have any more future updates for RAV4.

Why you didn’t flush the engine block too?

I wanna know what you mean if you don’t install the warning sticker wiring and someone does start it by hitting the lock 3 times will it hurt somebody?

At 66 I need these to get into my 2024 rav4 woodland. Only disadvantage is up here in ND reduced clearance in the snow. The black looks good with my black color too. Nice video sir.

Do you need to pinch the clips when removing the hood insulation or can you just pop them out with a two pronged tool and reuse them ?

Want to try it out myself just a lil nervous on the airbag situation!

I performed the same install all on OEM parts, including new gaskets on a 2023 off road premium. It went as smoothly as you described. However, I don't really know if there was a water leak prior to the install, but there is solid water leak through the hood scoop after the install. There is nothing wrong with my install: all gaskets are new and in good condition, installed to specs, the scoop is in great condition, all clips are in, all nuts are in, the hood scoop sits seemingly flush, nothing seems odd or uneven. However, pour some water with a water bottle in either of the front-two-most corners, and water seeps in to the heat shield. Is this normal? Everything leads me to believe that this is the way it was before, but its hard to know for sure.

Did you do it without lifting the car?

hi Curt 13416 hitch product Could it be a defect? If you try to mount it under the exhaust If one side goes in, the other side doesn't go in.. If you fasten both sides hard, it's tight and doesn't move. I don't think the product is defective or the clearance doesn't fit.
