Me again, Chili. Rolling Quartz are *not* an Idol band - they're a legitimate organically formed Rock band. RQ 💎 formed when 2 Korean rock bands - Rolling Girlz & Rose Quartz - decided to become one. Hence their name - Rolling Quartz. They debuted in 2020 with the single and MV 'Blaze'. RQ 💎 toured the US in 2023, and UK & Europe early 2024. Both tours were very well received. They've already announced their 2nd UK/EU tour (8 countries) which will be in January 2025. RQ 💎 will also be touring Australia 🇦🇺 for the first time this September 2024. This track is literally Deftones-Passenger.... Just with a Bring Me The Horizon flair. Not that it's a bad a thing, I've loved Deftones for over 20 years, so yeah. The main draw in this track is Aurora, period. Her voice is perfect for this sound. After her abysmally short feature, they said "I'll tickle that spot for you.", now my whole being itches for more! 🥰

React to the whole new album. There are few throwback heavy-ness songs 😊 Even if your not the emo type of rock listener you will enjoy the rest of the album.. there is a lot of mix genre and influence..

As you said in the beginning of the song and later: nice heavy and slow driven part(s) (personally I love this slow and heavy sound), and low tones vocals from Aurora fitting perfectly well. I usually enjoy when there are softer parts in metal songs (when they are only sort of breaks and not half of the song), but I agree: more heavy stuff, and more Aurora's vocals! In a complete album from her, it would be great indeed. Even if a bit frustrating, I still enjoy the combination here. Anyway, thanks for the honest reaction to BMTH, featuring Aurora, who can be great even with only 4 lines.😀👍

This is a new project for Sally the guitarist with the vee. She was a founding member of Lipstick. Mayu of Nemophila was in Lipstick near the end of the band. Sally is definitely a metalhead. Mellows just released a full length album called Alloy and it sold out within a day or two. We will see how far this concept of cute metal will take them. Like you said when they go hard it's really hard. The bass and drum players do show up at their lives, but not official members.

Same as you, this song didn't hit me straight away when the album came out - but it didn't take as many listens for me as you said it did you before I got it. You didn't need to worry - the basic rule seems to be that if they use the word 'live' in the title they have used the live audio (eg 'Road of Resistance') ... 'Gimme Chocolate' and other official videos like 'PA PA YA' that use live footage but don't include 'live' in the title use the studio audio.

I have been waiting for this for years. I am seriously glad they finally released this. It's my favorite song off Metal Galaxy. A "Live Music Video" is always live, Metali, Ratatata, and now Brand New Day being the only ones BM have done so far. The studio audio over live is just called "Official", and then they have the concert performances they release which also have Live in the name. It's already been confirmed that BABYMETAL will be featured on Polyphia's next album, and BABYMETAL will feature Polyphia again on another track. Henson is the guy with the white shirt, and LePage has the long hair. For Polyphia, you should check out ABC feat. Sophia Black.

The Kami band is playing this live. A band I know that uses the 3d hologram tech during their live is STARSET. They have a clear layered screen between them and the audience, and they project lyrics and all kinds of effects and images on it. It's really damn cool live. Now that they're both playing festivals in Europe, both bands have played it live. BABYMETAL have joined Electric Callboy on stage, and Nico and Kevin haved joined in with BABYMETAL and their Kami Band.

Su's happy smile is something I want to see all the time. This song collaboration was realized at Rock Im Park with EM and BM on their respective stages.

The typically metal gatekeeper is not a big fan of groups with a "idols" past. Furthermore they always complain that this or that is not metal. Back in the days the slightest synth sound made them angry. Problem is, every gatekeeper has a different opinion what metal is. Despite I know only little about Baby Metal I can see their struggle to be accepted. I don't think the problem were they are femals, back in the day they were just kids. And there were always females band who were accepted. They sounded just to the gatekeeper ears as metal. Every video that I see with footage with EC and BM together, they had so much fun together.

Nico is the clean voice. Kevin for the harsh vocaks. i love this collab!

The Fu Fu at the beginning and during the song is a Japanese karaoke culture thing so I heard. I guess you have to be in Japan to get it. Fun video though.

Nico is backing Su before the large disco ball duet. Then when Su is singing her part Nico is also singing in a lower key and I think that makes it more special. Their voices mesh well together.

K-Pop and now X-Pop fans have deep connection with their artist due to their artists often show a lot of the behind the scenes and sometimes even parts of daily life. BTS often goes live showing their album making and songwriting process. In some BLACKPINK’s videos, you can actually see how BLACKPINK members interact casually with each other basically like sisters. As for XG, they have their XTRA XTRA Documentary Series which showing their entire training process that they went through before debuting in 2022. Their training process last about 5 years and they start their training at around the age of 13 for most members. So as the result, people who watch their documentary can see them literally growing up from young teen to becoming the adult that they are now. These types of things give fans a stronger connection with their artists through reliability and humbleness. I felt something like this is what Jennifer Lopez has been trying to do recently but fail miserably because of her ego. Check out their R&B song, Winter Without You. Even better, check out them performing live on The First Take in a live studio or on It’s Live with a live band. 😃

Hanabie = Harajukucore = 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I have a horrible feeling Sony want to sell more albums and this is the result. It’s not bad, it is Hanabie, but it’s not the madness we have come to know and love. I can’t begrudge anyone some commercial success though, if that’s where they go this year.
