I will say that Aurora is as authentic on stage as she is off. While she is an amazing peforner none of it ever comes accross as opposite of her views and persona off stage. I encourage you to deep dive into her various documentaries to learn more about this amazing human. Whilst a natural introvert she understands how important her connections to her listeners is.

I also love her ferocity in Queendom… a true shield maiden! …and her word painting in It Happened Quiet is genius!
She has really branched out recently, into various genres and fusions -- check out her latest live performances (e.g. BBC / Glastonbury Festival), even as guest singer in a Heavy Metal song: LIMOUSINE; also CHURCHYARD and ALL IS SOFT INSIDE from her 2018 KEXP performance, to get an idea just how diverse her songs and performances are. Not to forget her stunning concert in a cathedral (Nidarosdomen), and others.

angelich is just one perspective of Aurora - she is a female force like Frøya / Freya ( Read Maria Kvilhaug The Seed of Yggdrasil - and her podcast Edda poden/ Lady of The Labyrint) And Aurora has alsways laiers of meaning in her lyrics.

A beautiful song and performance but also very sad🥺❤️
The song was inspired by domestic violence, she gets killed and in the end she comes back to haunt him.
She actually made a song to help people coping with the loss of someone, “A different kind of human”, I highly recommend the live performance at NRK P3 radio festival❤️
