Yrs ago after seeing your video. I pulled trigger on getting one of these in 24/700. I have been using this all day everyday ever since. I agree the lug connection points were absolute pain to connect. But, the inverter itself works amazing. Only wish it had the bluetooth dongle option like Victron so I could see stats via bluetooth app. If I ever upgraded it would be victron for this reason.

It's unrealistic to expect it to start a 700watt ac unit. I doubt a 1000watt generator would either. It's common practice to spec a generator 3x any motor loads and better to go 6x. My fridge at home runs at 100w but it takes 1000w to start the compressor so that's 10x the run power. You just aren't going to get 10x 700w off a small inverter that only has a peak load of 2400w. Its under specified for your requirements.

Expecting that many lumens for any period of time on a 14500 cell is assanine. It has to step down or you'll melt the driver/ destroy the battery. As for voltage cells fluctuate. If you turn the light on for 30 seconds and read it it'll show lower. Shut it off and wait 5 minutes it may jump back to 3.7v

I noticed that you did the tests with the devices at 50% power. Not at 100% power. If there is a *DIODE* in you device, to use only one 1/2 cycle for 50% power, then yes there is a problem. No, the frequency is *NOT* changing to 180Hz. Try running your devices at 100% power and show the results. Victron & Diode is a known problem.

I have the cotek 3k 24v. Its a monster. I also got a go power 24v 700 watt and fixed the plug issue. Its a great small inverter. It can start a fridge without a blink and to my surprise can start a window ac unit (500 watt running compressor). I notice yours has fans that throttle variably, Mine does not and is very annoying. they change speeds constantly if the load is varying but in steps.
