How to test carbon monoxide detector, easy and simple

If your life depends on it, test it first. Many off these carbon monoxide detectors don't detect anything at all or they have long delay BEFORE THE ALARM SOUNDS, like hours long, so if your life depends on it, TEST IT FIRST, DON'T TAKE YOUR CHANCES, I DON'T.
