Changing The Hydraulic Fluid on a 2018 Bad Boy Zero Turn Mower
I can so relate to what happened at the 12:10 mark .. LOL
Mine too, just today that I put some gas to her, she started leaking gas by the same hose, and even though the gas drainage was totally closed, the gas came leaking from that part as well, what do I do? 😩
Just Asking. is it generally ok to install lithium ion batteries laying down ?
Where's the pad install
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO. I was going to start the process tomorrow, changing diffs but i had to order the gaskets. Amazon has them.
What windshield do you have there?
Why does Subaru hate us?! 😅
Thanks!
Great video with good detail and excellent vantage points to see all. Enough to tell me I have no business doing this myself. Gonna have to suck it up and pay $175 to get it changed. Thank you.
Thanks for the detailed video
What model of brake master cylinder do you have?
I’m not a mechanic but most rotors have a little play, I think.
What is the torque value on the allen bolts?
Great video mate, where did you get the special tool from for the nut, like rocking horse poo to find😂😂
Amazon always comes through!
@@lubetube. ended up asking the yamaha dealer they can order any tools in😁
When it was not starting at first after you put the carb on what did you adjust to make it start?
Didn't get the pilot circuit cleared completely. This is why it is important to follow the circuits all the way through.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video for all of us out here!
Any time! Enjoy making videos to help and entertain people!
Any chance you fix my shadow 600 for me
Really good video. Thanks very much.
You are welcome!
I have an 029 and was wondering...doesn't that rubber grommet that you are fighting to remove from the orange plastic outer cover have a torx bolt through the center so you can just remove it without fighting it ?
would also correlate with 2003? also where did find the manual? i also have a right fork that’s leaking
Just go a Google search of 2003 Yamaha YZF-R1 PDF
I found these guards restricted, bike runs hotter. I go for the quinene protector
Thanks for the info ill check them out.
hou much axel torque front , rear and front brake ?? thank you
We need some motovlogs !!!
I got some coming down the pipeline!
Marvel mystery oil is the best penetrant
what was The app That Told You About The Slow Jet on Your Phone?
I use Partzilla for diagrams. Great company!
How would you pre fill a filter that mounts like that
Think about it, the filter also acts as the drain plug. As your refill the trans, it goes into the filter without the pump turning. Thanks for the question.
Where did you find the instructions for tuning the carb after you re-installed?
Added the link in the description. Thanks for watching!
@@lubetube. Thanks!
Did you flush the system at all? Or just drain coolant, bleed air and then fill new coolant ?
No, just drain and fill. Thank for watching!
When I extend my pole the chain stops turning. It's a new saw
Thank you for posting a very informative video. I have a Bad Boy Maverick HD with the same hydro's that you showed in the video. I went to my local lawn mower shop and asked if they had the filters and oil to perform the hydro service. They recommended that I do not service the hydro's unless there is a problem with them. Basically "If it ain't broke don't fix it". Has anyone else heard something like that about servicing hydro's?
I would look at the owners manual for the recommended service intervals. Some dealers don't even read this crucial information. This Bad Boy ZT is every 250hrs.
these bikes still hold up really well even 25 years later
Was the first bike I've owned, still brings a smile to my face!
Promo`SM
I had the same issue a while back with fuel coming out, was a quick 10 minute fix didn't take the carb completely apart
what did you do? i’m having the same issue in my 2000 honda shadow vlx 600
@@deadbeatdad339 I believe i had rebuilt it.. changed the needle & floats
I didn’t see you or hear you talk about applying a thin coat of the oil to the “O”ring on the oil filter. Does it not call for that?
There is always some oil dripping out of the trans after draining. Always lube your O rings!
Great video. I have a '95 VLX600 and it has 2 carbs - what year is this one you are working on? Edit: Never mind you said it at the beginning!
Yeah its a 2001 with a single carburetor for both cylinders.
nice! thanks for uploading this
Glad you enjoyed it!
thank you
You're welcome
Very nice video except for your head in the way a few times. Mechanic/Autobody tech 44 yrs. Love motorcycles.
Right on!
Can you put bottom ring on from the bottom of the piston
It would have a longer distance to travel into place and could damage it and/or piston.
Are you using a degreaser like simple green in the spray bottle
Yep and kerosene.
Im soon gonna get my hands on 2000 r1 for my first bike!Amazing machines
Good choice!
that tach is wild
Yep its a old one.
Man, this bike sounds amazing 😍 Be safe ✌
Thanks bro!
I left my Shadow 600 parked for 15 days and when I started it yesterday, the same thing happened, fuel leaked in the same way, I turned off the bike and went to check, but I didn't find anything and I didn't know this information either. Thanks for sharing.
Glad I could help
Rebuilding my 029 was fun except for the clutch linkage ….kind of a pain to reassemble ….i wasn’t gonna mess with it but it was loaded with oily saw dust mud… I ended up using 390 jug and piston so I should have about 1 more hp than the 029. ….also modified the muffler .. It runs great but have yet to test it….running it a few times before giving it the beans..😊
Sweet! I miss that rebuild. Looking for another one to play with!
I used a long tube to fill the fill plug from the engine top side. Fill plug was really hard to break loose. Had to spray it and bang it with a long pipe.
Yea same here. If I remember correctly, the camera wasn't on when breaking that one loose. Had to retighten and film it again. That's why it looked easy!
Use a ratchet instead of impact to break free less chance of stripping thanks for the video
I also made an axle holder Using scrap SAE bolt and nuts that just happened to be the exact (tight fir even( hex fit but funny thing was when I torqued the azle nut with pinch bolts loose the axle did not at all seem inclined to spin...oh well cost me nothing and literally took 30 seconds to "build" (if screwing to nuts onto a bolt even qualifies lol)
Sweet. Thank for the info. Always like hearing of new ideas!
Nice bike! good tips too even though mine is the civilian version 23 MT-10. BTW repairing crash damage on my bike I discovered the fork leg assemblies as well as front fender (not to mention main frame and swingarm) are virtually identical....(even the late gen R6 shares fork leg assembliss and frong fender) although few sellers seem to know this Not sure about lower yoke of triples but I imagine that and so many other bits are the same..... hey I thought you R1 guys ran slicks lol
Well I hope your damage is fixed by now and your ok. Here in Florida you don't want to be caught in the rain with slicks!
I use a piece of wood and something for a folcrum to lift front wheel into place using my foot on the wood freeing both hands to alighn wheel and insert the axle.....ditto for rear MUCH more needed there lol
