I received conflicting information from the race owner, race director and tech director. Race day morning, I talked to the race director and was told that the race owner had to make the decision. I sent 10 text messages while in staging with no respon...

Hitt
hey Wes, any behind the scenes footage of the ice segment from huevos 4? If so please upload!
I will try and find and post some.
Good dude. He’s my next door neighbor.
Good guy and a legend of ATV's
Sorry next time I’ll move
We ran Curtis Sparks 200x motors back in the mid 80s . Racing his engines all over Wisconsin Minnesota and Iowa . Lets just say that 3 wheeler drew a lot of attention everywhere we went. a lot of magic in a small displacement engine . SOLD IT FOR 500.00 WISH I WOULD HAVE KEPT IT LOL AFTER THE BAN OF 3 WHEELERS NOT A LOT OF MARKET FOR THEM.
Curtis built my first race motor in '84. That thing ripped. I would beat a lot of 250's on it.
What is Marty doing now ?
Nice, looks useful. Going to have to try it out.
Let me know what you think.
Great stuff right here.
Thanks
How do I get my hands-on a DVD of Huevos 2? I've been looking for awhile now. Lmk please.

@@WesMiller70 thank you. I've always enjoyed your films and I have most of them but I'm still missing a few. I first found out about them when I went into my local shop to pick up parts for my Banshee and the owner had Huevos 1 playing on the TV's. I was hooked from then on. I had been riding since a youngster and it was awesome to see so many others enjoying something that I loved to do. Thank You.
@@richardcasados I'm glad that you enjoy them.
Heuvos 08
My grandson was in one of your videos in California at your place!!! Several years ago but it was very special to all of us!!! Pittman’s from Kentucky Tyler was a child but he and his dad. Cliff loved it
I actually saw Tyler about a week ago. That was a fun shoot.
Jeremiah Jones
Why don’t you make more huevos movies? Miss them!
Awesome 👏🏻 thank you
I should be posting more soon.
This will always be my favorite era of quad racing. For the longest, it was the 2005/6-2010 era because we had never seen production quads that good. Now looking back, I prefer the short lived hybrid and 250r years. I've been out of racing for over 10 years now, but something about those machines were so cool. I guess it's also because those are the years that made me fall in love with the sport.
Awesome time!
Good days !!
What year did this interview take place? Very cool...
I've known Donny all my life, my dad and his were friends, we bought SEVERAL motorcycles and dirt bikes from him and his dad at Capitol Cycle.. His mother is a nurse, when I was around 10 yrs old I had to go to their house twice a week for her to give me allergy shots.. haven't seen him in years, I hope he's doing good.!! I'm sure proud to have known him, saw him race dirtbikes several times growing up.. I've even rode my bike at his motocross tracks a few times.. He's a super nice guy..!!
I am a huge fan of yours, bought all of the videos as they came out. Still have most of them.I even saw you filming in person at the LRD grand opening in Wilsonville,OR. Great memories and you helped turn me in to a off roader for life. Thanks Wes!
Huevos was only reason i bought my outlaw 525 and yes it had bomb squad bumper
Man I remember calling my local atv dealer asking if they had it yet every time a new Heuvos video came out. I would call everyday until they had it in stock. Dana Creech was one of my favorite riders.
Dude! I used to watch your videos when I was a kid had the huevos 1-3 box set. We rode hard as kids, I actually ended up building a 400ex race bike and raced TT nationals at Ashtabula in 2012 . I believe Harold goodman and Tim farr were there that year riding 450rs. I think that was also the year they brought back the 3 wheelers on TT
I still have all the dvds and always wondered about that bike
The Coe Show ! Legendary Racer Best of Times
A great time period in ATV racing for sure. I love that track also. Echeconnee is one of the best tracks i have ever ridden on.
Gust nacs legend
Definitely
I ride with Keith little and met dana creamy in Russellville Alabama
Creach
He had a fun track there.
Right on 👍 I stil have the videos
i wanted to ride Breckenridge when i did a ski bum stint out there because of seeing these videos when i was younger. good to see you back at it Wes!
The Johnny Knoxville of ATVS lol
I grew up watching these videos . Brings back some very good memories
I'm working on some more videos.
Awesome footage! Subbed
Thanks
cool man! subscribed.
Them 250R hoods are still so sick looking today damnnnn ....
Thats some good shit, Never enough OG footage from the 250R golden era!!
I have a lot more.
More info on the old Puttmans!
Unfortunately, I don't remember that much about them.
You don’t realize how you made some many peoples childhood with what you have done man! I’m still here at 37!
Thanks, it is awesome to hear that. We had a blast making the videos.
@@WesMiller70 right on man !!🤟🏼🤟🏼
the hybrid time was the best atv race ever ! so many talent riders at this time !
Yeah, there was a stacked field.
Wes, What ever happened to your black Bombsquad banshee from the mid 2000s ?
It was torn back a part and sold.
Keep the videos coming Wes, love the raw footage. Did I see digger practicing on the 4 stroke hybrid with 55 on it?
Yes, there was only that one shot that I saw.
Love the 250r footage Wes! Thanks for your troubles making these video’s brother!🤘
I'm glad that everyone likes them.
Wes, we really appreciate the time you have taken to go through all this old footage and offer us some good insight into the footage. I know media is consumed very differently than years passed, but I'd love to have an opportunity to purchase a box set of some raw footage similar to this. There are still a bunch of us "older" guys who put this stuff on in the garage and appreciate the work done to get it there! I hope you keep this going, amazing to see this footage. Been a viewer since H1
Thanks, I don't think I will put out a box set. But if you guys keep watching and commenting on the videos, that helps. I will have more things coming soon as well. I appreciate the support.
Raw footage of kangaroo kid jumping the banshee
I have that as well.
Yes
👍
I could watch EVERY SINGLE SECOND of footage you have and I'd pay good money to see it. I grew up on your vids from the OG Huevos Grandes on. These were probably the biggest impressionable things on my life as a teen/20yr old. These videos are like stone tablets of memories.
I keep plugging away at more!
Tracks back then were way better, more technical and damn that helmet was the best I’ve ever seen
yeah them custom paint jobs on the helmets were sweet back then
Yeah, that helmet was pretty cool. Based off Coop's art that did the Lords of Acid stuff I believe.
Like?... I LOVE this shit!
👍👍👍
These are awesome! How about Orville TT in 2000? Kangaroo Kid jumped 200ft or something wild I remember also
Yeah, I have some of that.
Hell Yeah 💪.. Miss them days and love watching the old videos.
Thanks, there will be more to come.
Do you think any of these Golden Era guys could hang with Wienen or Hetrick? It just seems like the skill level is so much higher today.
Equipment and technology is different, training programs are more intense, and 4 stroke motors have insane torque in comparison. With all these advancements, it's truly comparing apples to oranges. You need to imagine the dudes of yesterday in their prime on the modern machinery if today. I think they'd hold their own quite well. So many variables though.
@@YFZ52 I think I disagree a little , when Chad first came on the scene he was dominating a lot of the golden era guys. His skill set was just so much higher and the only one in that league is Hetrick
@@Kermit46 right you are, but let's not forget he was young and the other boys were getting older at that point. Hard to say. Like all sports, the bar seems to get set higher and higher in each generation. It's hard to compare. Chad and Joel (and Jeffrey, Bryce, Hoag, Genusa, etc.) are the modern day top riders that have set this bar. I've raced in the pre-450 days and the 250r's are legendary but also far more of a handful to race than a modern MX build. Respect is due regardless of who can crank the faster lap.
Some of these guys did! Byrd, Natalie, Goodman....
@@Kermit46no he wasn't. Byrd and Natalie were not being dominated by Chad.
