That isn't really a good comparison. None of them are really singing in these clips, they are just screaming into the mike, you can barely hear them and in the more recent ones James is completely off tune which makes the whole track sound off.

Jason was THE guy to take Cliffs place after his tragic passing. From the studio albums, to the live performances, he gave it his all and did a killer job. That’s no easy task, especially when taking a spot in a band for someone that was as talented as Cliff was.

I think we mostly give credit for Jason for back vocal and offcourse he had so strong voice but Cliff voice was more heavy, fat and evil.. Love both of them.

Jason was the fire in Metallica and ruled the stage every show and had the most brutal backing vocals....gave 110% of himself after every show also singing autographs and talking to fans while the rest of the band were nowhere to be seen!!

I wasn't a fan of Metallica until I watched Cunning Stunts and most of what I loved was Jason's solos and energy. Such a shame
