    Hello there! I hope that your problems with your pro4X have been resolved by now. Roof leaking problems with Nissan Titans are kind of a thing. Unfortunately the reason I know is I am going through the process of resolving one on my 2021 Platinum Reserve model which like yours also has a panoramic sun roof. We have been having the typical rainy summer in South Carolina and this leak problem has really raised it's ugly head here recently. I purchased my Titan locally last October with a little over 18,000 miles on it so it is still under warranty and I am lucky to have a decent relationship with the Service Shop who have promised me they will get to the bottom of my leak. As you might imagine I have been doing some of my own investigations of Nissan Titans leaking. I won't bore you with all the stuff I've found (especially on the Titan forum) but I can tell you that all sunroof are designed to leak. However, they have channels built all the way around them to capture the water and move the water to the 4 drains that are built into each corner. From each drain there are clear tubes attached as drain lines and they usually are routed down the A and B pillars of the vehicle until they exit out behind the tires. In your video you can see the water running into the channel of the sunroof. Because they broke your inside trim pieces and left them off is the reason you can even see the water coming in. When those get replaced you should never see it. There are videos on RUclips that show how to clear the drain holes in sunroofs when they get clogged with debris using string trimmer line and actual kits that you can buy on amazon for just that purpose. If those drain holes get clogged bad enough the water will spill onto the headliner and can go wherever it feels like. I'm sorry I didn't intend for this to be so lengthy... Good luck with your truck!

    I can't think of a more contrasting ownership experience going from a slightly underpowered manual transmission Corolla straight to a Tesla Model Y. Having said that (and yes I know this will seem crazy to some) I'd choose the Corolla. I've ridden in 4 different EV's (and driven my bosses Model S a bit) and while the experience is cool, I think (and know from anecdotal evidence) that cool factor wears off after a couple years and heaven help you if you get an EV with issues.😮 I mean sure the Model Y and any luxury/near luxe EV is going to blow the Corolla out of the water for acceleration and cool features, but unless you're one of those people who leases or trades in every 3-4 years...your expensive Tesla today will seem old hat and behind the times in a few years as Tesla and other EV makers release the latest and greatest. The Corolla on the other hand will still be reliable and driving like new in 10 years...and since ICE production is being legislated out of existence there likely won't be much advancement for newer ICE economy cars. On the other hand if I had a 1k mile round trip road trip to make I'd trust the Corolla to get me there and back with no drama. My second car ever was a 1985 Toyota Corolla GTS (American AE86) which was a survivor ...all original with just under 50k miles on the clock, and I bought it just as the fast and furious thing was taking off but 80's cars werent outrageously priced. When I finally sold the thing I had 189k on the clock with only work done being water pump and timing belt, and both were preventative at around 70k miles. Yes, the original factory clutch was still on the car at 189k. It was getting a little weak but still worked fine if you adjusted your shift style😂

    • @jbm0866
      @jbm0866 Месяц назад

      GR Corolla is a completely different animal in spite of the resemblance to the normal hatch, I'm sure it will be an experience! Having said that, the tuner crowd and aftermarket have already taken solved many of the shortcomings of the regular Corolla, and for much less than cost of the GR over a normal hatch. (Of course no AWD) Short shifters, egr delete, throttle response adjusters, cold air intakes, downpipes, exhausts and even flash tunes that can take the 2.0 over 200hp with the right mods. Of course none of this matters to people still under warranty or not into modding, but I think the Corolla 6 speed manual will be extremely popular in the tuner community for many years to come....as will your GR Corolla! I hear that little 3cyl turbo is overbuilt and quite stout..as in they can handle 400hp without serious modification.
