  • Tried to upgrade my low beams to LED, and failed spectacularly. Will try again on my LX 570.
If you don't mind LEDs with a fan cooling system, and want to use stock dust caps, these have been reported to work by @andresd9146:

    Fog Lights - AUXITO H11/H8/H16: amzn.to/3gzK74H

    Panasonic G85: amzn.to/2VXqs1E
    Power Adapter for Camera: amzn.to/2VVqs20

Hopefully you get the right cover and update us on correct part number. I’m also planning on replacing the halogen headlights with LEDs on my 2010 LX570. 👍

Lasfit was really gracious and sent me a replacement. This was a year after my original order (it took me that long to get around to try to installing these). Hopefully the new ones are right size, and will fit.

Any video on how to adjust the height of the high beams?

Any update on the bulb covers? Were you able to get the correct ones?

Yes, the company shipped them to me. Now just need to get around to installing. Video coming soon!

@@omgautos I have successfully replaced the low beams and the fog lights to LEDs using the original dust covers. AUXITO H11 LED Headlight Bulbs (with 90 degree plug) and AUXITO H11/H8/H16 LED Fog Light Bulbs is what I used for my 2010 LX570. Bought them on Amazon and are working great so far. Since both have a 90 degree bend they fit like the OEM bulbs using the OEM dust covers

yes, glad they're working out. i was looking for something without a fan to worry about, so didn't consider these.

don't need to take it out. can take off the top strap and slide it out of the way a bit. don't even need to disconnect the leads.

LEDs are never going to be a great choice for the headlights on the LX. The reflectors are designed for a very small and bright filament. Even the best LEDs are 2-3 times as large as the filament in an incandescent bulb or a HID. That means you are lighting up the faces of other drivers and the tree tops. Most LEDs fair pretty terribly on the color rendering index. There are some great upgrades in lighting that work well with the reflectors in these trucks.
Low Beam Upgrade H11 to Philips H9 Is nearly double the light output of the stock Osram H9.
High Beam 9005 to 9011 Will gain you about 22% more light
Fog Light Upgrade H11 to Philips H9 45% more light (this needs a end cap applied or there will be a small amount of scatter, though nothing like LED)
Reverse lights Upgrade 921 to GY6.35 3x more light
There is a lot of good information here:
