- The dealer had adjusted my sunroof once, but broke some pieces. They ended up having to replace the whole sunroof as a result. Unfortunately, the results are less than stellar.

Damn. I’m looking at getting this exact truck but I didn’t expect such problems with the sunroof!!!!!
As a former auto electrician, I learned the dealer mechanics typically aren't as skilled with work on interiors. Sucks they couldn't get you squared away.
I am looking at a 2021 Pro4x with 6000 miles? It has same roof as your truck. Should I take a pass?
I bought a 2021 black pro 4x new the drain lines in the moon roof where far longer than supposed to water poured out heater vents truck had 350 miles on it. The amount of water damage the truck received was considered totaled n let me take my pick on the lot so chose a 2021 white pro4x identical other than color. Put 15 thousand miles on it before water poured out my heat vent on new truck brought to dealer drain lines pulled away n plugged. Fixed n no issues yet allways feel ur pillars for wetness. Don't ignore moisture on inside of windows. Be mindful of this issue as well. Glad my dealer is good n takes care of me
that's not good. my truck lives in the garage and is not really driven in bad weather, at least not yet. my lx is the bad weather daily. haven't had the opportunity to test the water intrusion for real.
@@omgautos anything now, 6 months later?
Sorry to hear about your Titan sunroof/moonroof travails. Not a good situation. I just picked up a loaded '23 Pro 4X with the panoramic moonroof and I checked the operation before I bought the vehicle. I also checked for leaks when I washed it at home. No leaks found so far and the moonroof operation has been fine. Knock on wood. I wasn't interested in the moonroof option, but between a loaded Baja colored unit w/o and a loaded Glacier White unit with, I liked the white one better. And the price was only a $600 difference because the Baja is a premium color.
congrats on the new truck!
How much did you pay for your?
@@chrisx5127 15% off MSRP of 65k, no adds, no dealer markup and they gave me 33.5k for my '18 F-150 trade. I was working on 35k for my trade and going to think about it when another buyer came in so I grabbed the deal.
My Altima had the same issue. Cleaned out the drain hose and it was all fine. Sometimes it’s not the engineering it’s the environment
i think it's draining fine. i just wasn't expecting that much water to make it inside.
I hate sunroofs. And I live in Florida.
Es Mejor comprarla sin el saunfruf para no tener inconveniente
Do you still own the truck?
yes i do
sunroofs and panaramic sunroofs are useless. why do stupid people think they're necessary. basically useless and an added cost most intelligent individuals don't want or need. so why do automobile manufacturers make vehicles with them and some do it as the only way the vehicle comes. just another way to add on more cost to a vehicle and if repairs are needed.... well I hope your rich
