I found when I shopped around that all the manufacturers have issues, choose the ones you can deal with, I got the 2020 P4X 👍
Yes, probably not the best time to buy a new vehicle. Hopefully the internals are good.
how's it working out for you? not sure if you saw the latest, but gps gave out on mine now.
@@omgautos I'm at 33k miles and just had my battery replaced along with my fan Clutch because it was too loud. Lean on the Dealership and Nissan engineers to fix or replace any issues. Just for reference at 5k miles I had them replace my whole rear axle due to noise from the pumpkin
I just bought a 2020 P4X in the same color. Thankfully it was manufactured pre-Covid. Thankfully no issues so far. I find it crazy that the same truck brand new is over $62k. I paid $39k. I’ll take the discount vs new in exchange for the 36k miles on the odometer.
36k is quite a bit for 2 years, but i agree. the prices of trucks are out of control, and the titan is one of the more affordable ones.
The weather stripping at the back section of the hood is to stop the hood from oscillating from wind. Somebody on Titan forums pointed out their hood was shaking on the freeway. The dealer pointed out the strips were missing and installed them. No more shaking. My Silverado had small soft rubber/foam bumpers along the hood edge to serve the same purpose.

I think the engine weather stripping pieces are for noise (NVH) not for weather. Appreciate the detailed video!
you're probably right. btw, i did check a few other titans on the lot when i was back at the dealer, and the rear door weatherstripping has the same gap on all of them. must be a design feature, which i can't figure out.
Build in the USA that’s the answer to all your concerns. And imagine true US cars.
It's weird that your titan has all those imperfections... just bought my 2022 pro 4x a month ago and top of the roof is nice and tight, the hood is also aligned with the same gap on both sides. We're human and sometimes it happen, that's why I make sure to check everything before I purchase.
Try to check when your truck was made. I believe mine was Nov 21. I'm just chalking it up to quality being down due to pandemic. As long as the engine and trans are good, I will be happy. agree with you on checking the truck before buying, but this deal was too good to pass up in current market, so I got the case of the wantsits.
Just went and checked my truck my hood is the same way. More of a gap on the driver side but mines all black hard to tell.
how does the paint look on the underside of the hood?
How much was the deal/discount?

63K?? Whooa u paid too much...I got the dessert colored one for 57k...by the way I immediately installed an oil catch can and a pair of cat clamps for the cat thieves....its a good truck..the gas pedal delay eventually goes away as you put more miles into it...
didn't pay 63k - that was sticker. will discuss how much i paid in a future video. only mod so far for me is a soft tonneau cover. waiting on running boards, hood deflector, and sliding bed extender to come in
Very poorly made, now that the market went up on prices , that’s a problem
yes, pretty shocking. i checked a few others at the dealer since going back, and i don't see these problems. not sure what happened to this particular truck, but it's quite bad for a big manufacturer such as nissan. was probably a friday truck during a pandemic
