Wasn’t a huge fan of Western Land. Didn’t like how the train randomly goes backwards or fowards. Overall the board just felt too random to me, and it was too hard to strategize between the two boos, hootenanny, and steamer constantly sabotaging me. Loved Rainbow Galleria, this one might be my go-to board for this game.

Rainbow galleria is my favorite Mario Party Board of all time. The strategy in the board in unmatched compared to the other boards

I wish we got literally any other board than Mario's Rainbow Castle

My Board Top List: 7. Roll 'em Raceway - The board is basically just a loop without many options to go around on. The star only switches between two places and the board specific Item feels more like a disadvantage most of the time as you just cant interact with boo, buy something from the shop or let alone the star itself, it just feels dumb to pass by these events. The split path with the starting line also feels unneccessary to use when you can go up top and just get 3 really good dice items for the price of just 10 coins... 6. Mario's Rainbow Castle - The fact that there's just one single star space was always not appealing to me in any game, be it Mario Party 8's Goomba's Booty Boardwalk or others, just having one star at the end of a pretty linear path is just not a good decision in map design in my opinion. The fact that the star isnt even there half of the time and you just lose 20 Coins when its turned to Bowser's side doesnt enhance the experience, plus the fact that the tower rotate item only has a chance to switch the tower and isnt guaranteed... 5. Goomba Lagoon - I'm just gonna be honest, the tide system and how easy it is to just get a tide shell and change the tide is really annoying. This board is just heavily focused of warp item usage and the tide shell, if you dont have any of those and are stuck on an island you're basically done for if you oponents have tide shells to change the tide before its even your turn. Other than that, I do really like the volcano event and how the board feels in any other aspect... 4. King Bowser's Keep - Never ever play a 30 round match of this board... I did and got stuck in bowser space hell in the middle loop around imposter Bowser for over 10 hours to the point I lost all my stars, was in last place and someone else snatched my entire 8 star earnings by guessing the passcode on the safe... Played a 20 round game the day later and had a much better time on this map. I really like how you can get back to the start from 3 spots on the map and dont have to do some kind of loop that would just be extra unnecessary distance and the fact that everything Bowser steals from the Players gets transported into the safe that you can open when you're really lucky... 3. Western Land - You can never go wrong with a classic board. My only real complaint is how cheap the train rides are and how many spaces of the map are on the train tracks so you'll get run over almost every 5 turns. The keys also feel useful here unlike on most boards of Mario Party Superstars. Nothing else to say about this one... 2. Mega Wiggler's Tree Party - For a beginner map, this map is awesome! The gimmick with Wiggler being walkable and that he can change positions is a small but very effective thing, it can save a lot of space to use him to cross some sections, especially when the top right of the map is plastered with star trap spots in the later rounds. Just an incredibly well crafted map for my liking... 1. Rainbow Galleria - It's just the best board, what else do I have to say. This map is the peak of Mario Party Boards, there was never a better board in any Mario Party in my opinion. The many different path ways, the many gimmicks and events, the different shops; it just fits perfectly and is so much fun. The strategic plays you can use on this map are basically endless, on one round you could take turns at the start of the map just getting an item from the 1-coin shop over and over again to be able to get more balls at the lottery for a golden pipe later... First I thought the coin economy in this map would be way too over the top but with the 200% sticker that just balances out and cause everyone mostly has a lot of money everyone will just be speeding around the mall, getting star after star which leads to incredibly high risk, high reward chance time plays later on etc... I could talk about this map for hours as its just so good, definetly 100%ly my favourite of the bunch! :3

I got this game on launch and I still haven't played all the boards. I played Mega Wiggler's Tree Party and Rainbow Galleria and I still feel like there's so much to offer on those boards that I haven't encountered.

The first Mario Party I played was 9, This one is so fun though! There’s no bosses like there were in 9 but the boards and the mechanics make up for it!

It's kinda crazy how Spyro 3 has so many bad levels, yet it's still a fantastic game by all metrics. Its not as consistent as the first two, but it offers more challenge and variety than either of them and it has more of everything we loved from those games

Mine would be something like: 5) Tree Tops - finally someone who isn't tasteless xD this is a level we love to hate but once you grow up you see it really had the right to be that challenging and fun at the same time, also they made it so pretty in Reignited! 4) Lofty Castle - always loved this one, everyting about it is just so lovely 3) Charmed Ridge - the forbidden romance subplot in this is what made me start writing fanfiction when I was a kid, that's how invested I was in it lmao 2) Mystic Marsh - I hear every point you made, it may be the most fun level in the whole trilogy for me! The exploration level is insane, recovering the Professor's pencil is the best orb challenge in the game, it's so full of interesting life, there's Basil, the thieves, the ducks...you just want to run around and spend time in it 1) Dark Passage - the absolute prettiest one of them ALL, I'm in love with the magical pink crystal hue, with the light/dark theme, with how much you explore both horizontally and vertically, I always play it slowly because I don't want to leave it! Rest of the top 10 could include: Enchanted Towers, Misty Bog, Zephyr&Breeze Harbor (always loved that we get to play on both sides of the war lol) and Dark Hollow which looks absolutely INCREDIBLE in Reignited, the library theme was a stroke of genius Best skybox goes to Doctor Shemp hands down, because that eclipse is drop-dead GORGEOUS Agree with Lost Fleet and Robotica Farms being some of my least favourite ones!

I’m eh on it. But love back on normal ideas. With lot different ideas. Lot good ideas form last 5 games or so coming together to be love. Saying that I love cars idea in 9nand 10 but superstars and super Mario was eh.

I wasn't too keen on the name Jamboree at first either but after seeing the cover a few times now, it's growing on me lol. I really hope we can play online in the normal board mode as well and not just that like battle royale mode.

Does anyone know if this can be played on the lite without joycons or a separate controller? That’s my biggest worry either way this game. I don’t have a regular switch and I don’t want to buy expensive joycons for it.

I remembered playing the King Bob-Ombs map with my friend and a cpu gave him a -2 dice roll when he was on an event space and he got a 2 meaning he would land on the event space again blowing up the board

So far, I really love the variety of boards, if I had to nitpick anything, tho I like the character roster, I feel like some of the Enemy characters (like Gumby&spike) are kinda pointless and could have been replaced. Like, it be a great opportunity to bring in more characters like Pauline, Didi kong. Maybe even other obscure character from other spin-offs as well. But hey, that’s just my personal nit pick so far

I Don’t think that it will have ally spaces like can you imagine 20 players each with 3 characters following them, that’s 60 characters at once

The character dice should be an item as opposed to you just having it. Or give it a cool down. Some characters had some broken dices

I have a question. Will we be able to use the pro controller for Jamboree?

1. seems like the motion control minigames wont be mandatory since you can’t play them with a pro-controller which i’m happy with 2. i wouldn’t mind character dice blocks as long as they can be turned off 3. chargin chuck might be a playable character aswell we could get quite a few unlockables

finally a mario party game with content! 7 boards, 110 mini games, and at least 5 new sub games that they teased (the last having none).

I hope they bring back the ally system, it was so cool to make a group of characters to use their special dice blocks and help you out in minigames
