Whowwww! This is great. Can you dual boot between knulli and MuOS? That would be amazing! In my opinion those are the 2 best FWs out there. So I could have the best of two worlds in a single SD. Thanks.
I’ll take a look, but those keep their boot files on separate partitions, so it will be more difficult to keep them compatible and prevent them from overwriting each other on update
Probably not. If I remember correctly MinUI is more of an overlay than full OS similar to Garlic is. Which is why you can dual boot garlic on the old school 35xx’s

@@sweetcider42 your welcome, check if there is a bug on your game when saving. Some other people have reported it’s an issue on the 28xx

Were ye able to get undertale to work. I tries, but it wont run. I did get blood and geometry crash to run tho. Please send help. I asked on the muos discord, but didnt get any helpful answers.

Did you download stardew valley from pc or portmaster on RG28xx? It doesn't boot even with that fix files
In my case, I downloaded from PortMaster with the WiFi dongle.
The info from phyrex techs indicated that the Stardew valley port might need reinstallation after the files are replaced

@ETlandxoxo when you copy over the game data, are you using the ‘compatibility’ version of Stardew valley? It option is in the betas section of Steam, I had some details about it in my trim ui smart pro portmaster guide

At this point, I would recommend crossmix. There is some very cool development happening and it’s preserving the speed gains in psp from the latest stock

How can I download the Sony 2 emulator?
I had also problems to connect to my wifi. I have a FRITZ!Box and have to setup the guest account on my router and using only numbers for the key. Now it works for me.
Hi @retrolunch, i have a problem. The games work fine, but i can't move the stylus (even after pressing the power button), and the screens don't change. Basically, i have no control. Even in the drastic app Can you help, please 😢
I would rather have written instructions as some steps in the video seem redundant - e.g. copying the gravity circuit exe to the card and only to delete it immediately.

It is not unfortunately, the Cube is currently Android based and MinUI only supports some Linux based devices

After you purchase the game on Steam, the game files can be transferred to the gamedata folder of the PortMaster package. It turns the smart pro into something like a mini pocket steamdeck for indie games.

Any way to enable audio while fast-forwarding in MinUI? The OS works great for the RG35XXSP, but it's a pass for me because fast-forwarding mutes the audio. :(
In my experience, MinUI lags when playing GB, GBC, and GBA games on the SP. Has anyone else had the same issue?

I’m so scared of my rg35xxsp exploding I bought silver and clear blue and there saying that there exploding it’s scary to thing that why do I do ?
I have not heard of them exploding, just some concern over a battery heat sync trick that is not recommended causing overheating

Hey! Hope all is well and great channel! How did you get Panzer Paladin to run? I am on tomato OS with the hot fix1 patch and can't get it working. Any suggestions? Appreciate the help!
With the 0.0.0.2d release of PortMaster for stock os, it just worked for me. But check the launch script to see if it has that |& line which the stock shell cannot handle

@@CP-to5nx yes, check near the end the video when I fix gravity circuit. You have to replace those lines with equivalent lines using 2>1& | Also plug the failing lines into chatgpt or bing chat with the request to replace |& and it should spit out the correct line
Also might be worth mentioning in follow-up that you can just install MinUI on another SD card and use the OG one in the 2nd slot, this way you can switch back easily to the stock card / OS by putting it back in slot 1.

Very similar, I recommend GarlicOS for the RG35XX.

Why is the LED always off while playing games?
Unsure, but I like it because the light bleed of the green light on blue transparent models bothers me. It turns on when pressing the power button which is good signal something is happening
@@retrolunchtime the option to turn it on/off during gameplay would be awesome, i notice mine stays on when i plug the charger in and unplug it..wonder if its a bug of sorts because the OG SP had it on at all times when the device was on

It’s a really good point, I have been trying for days to get those to work since they both use the pico core already in the device. For whatever reason the minui menu is still listening to key presses so it draws one the game.
Can you upload the clone image of your already installed muos with all your setup so that we can download it and write to our own sd card?
sooooo, does it support sleep? quick shutdown and resume? you didn't touch on any of the things someone would want to know when considering installing minui on this device
Yes, I should have covered that but I did not. Instant sleep is good, hibernation if it’s sleeping for a while saves the battery, but takes about 11 seconds to get back in game

Does it delete the Atomiswave if you change OS?
Yes, MinUI and the extras pack does not include the emulator or cores for Dreamcast, naomi and atomiswave
Is there any way to add on DS games?
I am still trying for DS. The MinUI port of drastic for the OG 35xx did not work. Next I am going to try the cores for the stock os of the SP
DS is gonna suck on this though.
Let me know in the comments if I should make a follow up video trying to get more cores and systems into MinUI on the SP.
