Thanks for the video. As soon as I watched taki udon's review of the rp4 pro, I decided to wait for the next retroid device. I own a modded 3ds and a switch. I'm just looking for a budget emulation handheld that can play n64-ps2 really well. I just didn't expect them to release another device so soon. Thank you for the video.
Good info. Thank you. I will probably get the Retroid Pocket 5 Pro when it comes out. Right now, I am loving my AYN Odin 2, it's the best retro handheld I have ever had.
I love seeing new retro handheld channels. Keep it up man. Also I think your gain might be too high on your yeti mic. I use that mic and the gain looks high. You shouldn't have to get closer to your mic if you tinker with the audio input sound level on your software and turn down the gain.
They just said for the RP5, that announcement deflates my first prediction to upsell a higher end sku. I just hope they can keep the price in the budget category
Wow your first prediction was so bad i stopped watching the video there. The company themselves have already come out and said they are not launching a 5 / 5 Pro variant really close to each other as that was a mistake when they did it with the 4.
i think more voice croakiness is coming out because you are whispering cause the mic is not configured quite right. vocal fry is hard to listen to, sorry
They need to move the Left Joystick on Top. like old RP2 joystick position.. also they need to have a grip like Odin. I own Odin Lite and RP4 Pro. I still use Odin Lite cuz its more comfortable to hold.
What a handsome fellow! Enjoyed your thoughts on the rp5 🎉🎉🎉 - Stubbs
@@retrohandhelds thank you for the kind words. 2 predictions wrong so far, but I am happy to be wrong and the discussion is fun
@retrolunchtime absolutely. I get things wrong at least once a week 😆
Interesting predictions, I think the price range on this is goint to be more $249-$300 though but lets wait and see. Its fun to speculate 😃
$199

Same here, it’s deflated my enjoyment of other Android based handhelds

Thank you I will try that. I have been struggling to figure out how to get good audio
They just mention the RP5 is OLED. Didn't say if it was pro or normal

5.5 AMOLED confirmed, stopped there

We shall see
His prediction is based on companies liking money. I would never write that off

@@0Akeldama0 it’s good feedback, I’ll be tuning it
Get a lav if you're in an echo-ie room.

Man with world's croakiest voice found to be allergic to microphone in world's echoiest room. More on this as it unfolds.
get closer to microphone bro

Dude you can't speak that way if you want your channel to grow.
Is it the quality of the audio or what I was suggesting may happen?
@@retrolunchtime it sounds like you are mumbling bc you have a deep voice and someone quality is pretty bad
