BEST EUC for a fun blast in tight trails. So happy I bought INMOTION V14, getting better every roll.
INMOTION WHEELS ARE GREAT
Thanks for watching another video.
So good to get the V14 back into the tight trails. Exactly what this wheel is perfect for. Tight, washed out trails full of lumps and exposed roots, v14 eats is all up so well.
All these paths were explores mostly unknown and I feel much more at ease to push this little wheel into unknown places. It can climb out of most spots with the torque and you can push or carry it if you get really stuck.
The suspension has held up perfectly the whole time I’ve owned this wheel, all adjustments are easy and still click smoothly.
So stoked with this wheel.

Lynx upgrade Assist mode 100% Hey hope you are well. Today’s roll is to take a look at assist modes for anyone interested in how they work with your wheel. Leaperkim recently added this feature in firmware 5.0.11 and I have taken a few rolls now to get my head around it. Inmotion have been using it on their wheels for a while and it’s great for the larger wheels. I often roll with a little assi...

Sometimes it can be annoying whem guys who are too timid to try coke, ride a motorcycle, and do otherwise hooligan outlaw shit, end up trying to promote that lifestyle for some unknowm reason??
These devices seem totally silly.
Hey. Do you know if there is a big difference between the newer ones with a 50s battery?
I like the stats on the wheel and the quick tire change set-up is pretty nice. However I can't trust any inmotion wheels. Too many problems.
Nice looking trail.. I would love to check it out. where is it exactly?
It’s a little hard to explain where not really named just a little offshoot around Tooheys forest. I think it’s fun exploring around here there seems some good fun options.
You might have to grab me next time you get out.. lol
👍
Pedals look pretty low. Was that you I saw with pedal clip crash? Why I like lynx over extreme, pedals good deal higher. Nice video sir!
Just got this wheel a few weeks ago (50s) and absolutely love it. Do wish it had a bit more range but I'm always going to want that from any wheel. Haven't upgraded pads yet as I've actually enjoyed the stock ones so far. It replaced my og Sherman as a commuter. Next purchase is the EUCCRAZY seat but the cost and shipping costs have been holding me back. Happy Riding!
Get EUCRAZY to print up two dummy battery boxes for the dual battery conversion; this is the best feature of the v14-50s! For range extension, figure out how to charge 2 packs while using the other two on the wheel and you’ll have unlimited range because you’ll be able to charge faster than the other batteries deplete from riding. This will take about 10-15 minutes to switch out the batteries (when needed) but it will be faster once the manufacturers adopt a plug-n-play modular design system, which the v14 only slightly failed to execute. I’m looking forward to buying the v14-50s in a year or two when it becomes available at a more reasonable price but, if I could afford it, it’d probably buy at least 2 of these wheels (so I could ride one with 2 packs and the other with 4-6packs). 😊
Hi, which tyre pressure do you use for off-road and city?
I keep a pretty high pressure for both. I was around 30PSI for this roll I think. It keeps things flighty but also helps protect the rim when bonking over rocks and logs.
@@eucaus and your weight? 30 psi is a recommended minimum, I like a soft ride so I also keep it low, I do around 32 psi with my weight 94 kg
What is up my brother❤
hey hey! Thanks for checking my video :)
What are those shoes? ....and how does the pedal height shape up in this sort of terrain, against the extreme or lynx for example? Love your. Ideals btw😊
...haha and your *videos*
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment on my video. Thanks for watching. These shoes are great 👍 Alpinestars CRX boots, they have a few styles the ones in this video are Mark Marquez edition. I have a black set I have used in other videos.
@@eucaus thanks for replying 🙏
I have both the v14 and lynx and I’m trying to decide which one to keep! Have you decided which wheel you like more? If so, why?
I like v14. Maby because I have v14 :)
How big preassure is in the wheel your v14?
@@andrewkorobov I keep mine at 30psi
Thanks
I had a Patton and replaced it with the Lynx, I have no regrets its hard to beat the stability of the Lynx at high speeds but i imagine if you do only trails you could lean more towards your v14
You got what pads ?? Compact rear top and bottom, and compact top front with big bottom jump pad ?
Hey yes that’s correct. I found for my large foot the larger front pad worked better. One of the guys at Grizzla does the same. The compact pad is fine also but the larger jump pad on the front just helps me lock in and pick the wheel up. Thanks for watching.
I'm a new EUC rider,now I ride the Inmotion v10f since 5 month since 3000 kilometers - in 2 weeks i will also get the V14 Adventure😊 ! Go on,make great videos again - we love to watch them....stay health !
Thanks for the demo, the V13 is more stable, i hate the wobble of my Lynx mostly during braking also sometimes on acceleration if you push too hard maybe the assist will help... I didn't try the assist mode yet i broke 2 of my vertebrae in August 3th and im in recovery and i don't want to push my bad luck because im lucky to not be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. Positive vibe to you and your family, take care.
Music always rocks
Where do you get your music from?
hey, for these shorts I select what RUclips offers up and try to match the vibe of the ride. For the longer vids I make a quick mix in Logic which I’m teaching myself as I go.

Hey Josh what leatt knees are you rocking? Just got a full leatt upper set so all I need now is good comfy knees I was tossing up whether to go the extra 100 for the geared pro ones or not. Any advice
hey man I love Leatt have served me very well. Most go for standard Leatt pads, I stepped up for the Knee braces which offer a little more twist support supposedly, so far so good! these are the z frame knee braces I use
What kind of personal info must you divulge on the app to get it to go faster than walking speed? I understand that paying for this does not make it yours UNTIL you give up details to register and 'unlock' it? This is why im not really considering this brand anymore.
I'll use that code bro
Thanks hey! I hope you save a few $ it’s a great charger.
That looks so cool
Hey yea so much fun. I love being able to capture it to share. Thanks for watching.
Hi Son. Stay safe
yea mate working on it :)
Amazing cornering ability!
It seems like it’s not really an assist. It just positions the pedals forward in order to gain more body weight forward. My initial thoughts were that the wheel actually would just increase power moving it forward faster. I was wrong. This is interesting.
Just got mine today
Im looking at getting my first wheel as a car replacement, what do you think about a complete noobie getting a Lynx as a first wheel? Its over kill but its also not economical to buy something you out grow and then have to sell and buy something else later, I'd rather something smaller and much lower to the ground but being able to keep up with cars when your forced to ride on the road means 60kmph which means suspension and a voltage/battery size that can do it safely, is this logic sound?
Just got one. Pretty cool. Mine has a flip up trolley handle. Not sure about the 3 (or even 30) minute learning bit, but after 2 sessions totaling about 30 minutes I can manage to run it around a carpeted apartment hallway without too much flailing about. I figure another couple sessions and I may be at the point to venture out. I agree that it's a neat product at a good price point. Also agree that there are too many making snarky comments. Don't like it - don't buy it. Simple. I'll move up to the Ninebot Z10 I have on ice at some point, as I liked its feature set and build quality. It's outdated compared to some newer machines, but I don't need a top of the line model.
Just purchased one. It has a trolley handle.
Prayers for your mum! Great comparison and super detail. Well done! The pedals on your lynx look lowered?
There is no such thing as an actual power assist (maybe a translation issue). The motor can only match the torque that the rider exerts onto the EUC, otherwise the EUC would be rotating forwards or backwards, since the motor exerts the same torque as the rider onto the wheel+tire and the same magnitude but opposing torque onto the EUC. If the EUC is tilting with a soft pedal setting, the motor outputs a bit less torque to allow the EUC to tilt before matching the riders' torque. In the case of a tilt-back, the motor exerts a bit more torque to tilt the EUC backwards before matching the riders' torque. These so called power assists seem to be delayed pedal softness setting. For Inmotion, if pedal hardness is set to less than 100%, then commuter mode tilts at a slower rate than off-road mode. On the V13, if pedal softness is set to 0%, the top speed is reduced from 84 kph == 52 mph GPS to 53 kph == 33 mph GPS (unless there has been a firmware update that changed this).
Hello brother! I updated my LYNX to version 11 from version 7. In a "normal" fall it spun in the air and when it fell to the ground it had a brake that burned the board (perhaps a mosfet because the wheel was braked and it felt braked when spin). Was it version 11? Don't know; but with version 7 i have had worse crashes and nothing happened. Bad luck? Maybe yes! But I would like to tell you that in "fun" Off Road driving (it is 100% of my routes), I think I can say that only by adjusting the hardness can you achieve the same effect. Is he really an assistant? Is it well said? The wheel power values are the same! The hardness of the pedals is a more direct way to act, request and receive the delivery of power before and during facing the obstacles that you encounter...! In speed? Circuit? Maybe it's more comfortable? But it is still a softening of the pedals so that in more aggressive accelerations it leaves you in a more comfortable steering position (I repeat that making the pedals softer achieves the same thing). It is a personal opinion and I respect your point of view and your opinion. But do you think that "hard" OFF Road offers you better sensations/performance? Or do you think that by regulating the hardness of the pedals you are doing the same thing? You can watch my RUclips channel and you will see my routes and the use I give to my Lynx so you can see what I think accordingly. Good video, welcome, a hug and a lot of strength for your mother!! Good luck!!🤙🏻
Awesome 😎 video!! Thanks brother!!🙏 Praying for your mum!!!
Really good video. Good demonstration of how the assist modes work. I got a Lynx and turned it off, couldn't handle it, but I'm a noob. Sending positive vibes your way. Stay strong.
hey i just got a lynx, do you find that it wobbles more than most wheels? or does it seem to go away with more experience. I noticed your grizzla pads are offset, is that so your stance can be offset to help reduce wobbles? Ive been getting these sudden wobbles and its freaking me out to the point i dont want to take it out on the main road with cars. Im kinda regretting not getting the Sherman L instead. Does anyone have long term experience with this? does it eventually go away?
I'm a noob but I've been on a Lynx for a few months and definitely had issues with wobbles, which are now largely under control. Try experimenting with suspension preload, dampening, rebound, tyre pressure, pad placement. Upping preload made a huge difference for example. Not sure why, but it worked. Locking my feet in same, again not sure why.
@@MrTheJoem Hey thanks for the tips. Thats one of the things i did early on. I increased the preload cuz my theory was that it would bring me closer to the ground. I also got the pedal lowering kit and changed my pads like 20 times lol. Im waiting on some powerknobz right now. Im an average rider with some experience. I dont even get wobbles that often, im just scared if i go 40+mph and then suddenly get these strong uncontrollable wobbles im screwed. Its soo random too. im just wondering if its inherent to the wheel and will always be there. I know some people think all wheels have wobbles which is true to a certain degree. But the lynx to me just seems so sensitive to it. Like im sure setup matter a lot, but theres plenty of wheels where it doesnt.
@@millionairejh I had some teething problems with wobble at first. 600 ks later I’m probably getting a little comfortable not wearing any safety gear. Pedal lower kits help. Drop your tyre pressure to low 20s psi.
really appreciate and enjoy your content bro sending positive vibes to you and your mom!
Best Brother!
I'm sorry to hear that mate, cancer is the hardest illness that someone can go through. I lost my dad to cancer in 2019, and to this day, I miss him every single day. Stay strong, and you got my prayers for the best of healing and full recovery to her.
I have a V14 and have tried a variation of accel and braking assist. What I think we need is overall assist AND ramp of said assist. The higher percentage I believe is how much it tilts but it doesn't control how fast it will reach that tilt. Having dynamic tilt would be the play. The more you push the wheel the faster it leans up to your maximum overall assist that you've set. So playing with the dynamic tilt means the wheel will flow as you lean forward and back tilting more if you want more acceleration or not so much if you're just cruising. What I've ended up with is 0% assist for both accel and brake because I don't want to guess the tilting speed, and I want it to react instantly.
Thanks for sharing. I always like your videos. Good luck to you and your family.
Wishing you and your mom all the best mate. I hope she recovers soon. It's really stressful. Thanks for the insights of this assist feature. I hope kingsong gets them too.
Hey thanks so much for the kind words and taking the time to check my video. Jumping on a wheel is a great way to escape the stress sometimes. Cheers to you.
@@eucaus Yes, its a great way to destress. More power to you!
Next up on EUC innovation...Standing Assist Mode...where the EUC stays upright when you are stop on a traffic light. So no need to constantly mount/dismount on stop. That's my wish.
This is called a pendulum, or idling. It can already be done, you just need to practice 😉
That would be cool, although I don't know how it's possible, given that the balance is a negotiation between the rider and the machine
I still suck at pendulum :) I always reach for poles. I do like to try to stand in one place a good test of balance. I love they are still innovating new ways to better our wheels
I need to practice :)
@@JailbreakTips Pendulum and riding backward are two of the skill I'm having a tough time mastering.

Great video man! Take your time and take care of your mom. I know how that is since I lost my wife to C. Be safe!
I’m sorry for your loss, really sorry man. Sending some good vibes your way. I think wheeling is the only way I’ve wanted to escape a bit lately but even then it’s taking a little to get motivated. here’s to some good luck in our futures. Thanks heaps for taking the time to watch and reach out. have a good day hey.
I have a slower wheel the KS S16 Pro. I haven't tried power assist. I didn't want to do any wheel adjustments other than -2 tilt while I learned how to ride.
That is always the best way I think. get used to how it rolls then make slight adjustments. sometimes things I try feel horrible but experimenting gets me to where I feel it matches me.
Great video! I watched so many materials about this assist mode, your video is the best as explanation, great work man!
Glad it helped! Thanks so much. It takes me a while to figure out what I’m feeling sometimes. Footage has helped me look and understand things a few times now. It’s a subtle assist, hard to really notice until I slow it down and look hard. Thanks for watching
nice breakdown mate
Glad you liked it, thanks heaps for watching.
Nice vid... On the Lynx latest firmware was all good until I played with acceleration assist. Now I get tilt back kicking in at 50k.. pretty hard to get to 60.. Some others have had issues and some haven't . Looks like I need to revert to an earlier firmware version
That's weird, I have my acceleration assist set at 100% and I get no kickback at all. It's been perfect.
Yea it’s odd I heard of other various issues with firmware rollouts on Lynx and they always seem sporadic, a few things here and there. I think going to somewhere safe like a basketball court or somewhere with room to test firmware a little safely is always a good idea for a few miles. I’m keeping my eye on things with this update. So far I’ve had no dip, even tried turning lights on while rolling etc and all assist % so it seems ok here. Fingers crossed 🤞
Yea mine has been good
