    one player I HATE to see go with couple others . Sandy be top one. only player i like to see Head line a SANDY TRADE BE Bryce Miller. If Marlins not giving SANDY more years. IF it has to be . lost me with getting off topic talking Luis Arraez . I get it. what made me upset was marlins willing to pay cash on this deal' when bigger trade was Tanner Scott and right-handed reliever Bryan Hoeing. but this trade could set the marlins back . could of made the bullpen awful for marlins not just this year but in 2025 also. But trade allow the marlins to trade trevor rogers. witch was great. I dont think marlins miss a trade with jesus luzardo . i weather get the right players . then get the pick value like jeter did when was hear. then get wrong players. We all know it going to be a packet deal. if he traded. I FELT better about this trade deadline then any year under jeter or kim . what i hated was tim anderson deal . people where made marlins where not calling up pitchers . i was mad marlins where not using Xavier Edwards at the time . three days after posting it anderson was gone. HEAR hoping 2025 Marlins not in category as the A'S ,Nats, White sox , jAYS

    Bruce Sherman is a pos and needs to sell the team! Us LONGTERM fans are refusing this B.S “Revolving door” garbage they wanna sell us. This is NOT the F’n DevilRays! This is MIAMI! We want money spent and our stars Kept! Sandy and Burger are all that’s left and they better get kept for many more seasons! Arraez was given away for absolute trash and So was Jazz! Had we KEPT Them over the AVERAGE, at best, players we got back, we would have an amazing team! GTFOH, Bruce! BOYCOTT THIS TEAM til that POS is gone or sells to a REAL owner who wants to compete and KEEP players we love! Edwards-Arraez-Devision-Burger-Jazz-Norby-Sanchez-Agustin-Stowers! Imagine that and it COULD HAVE BEEN! But Bruce rather F- Us fans! Bruce is the biggest POS “owner” in sports history! Keep Sandy and Burger need to be the faces of franchise and is what the FANS WANT now we were robbed of Arraez and Jazz! That will always run parallel with Miguel Cabrera GIVE AWAY and the Beckett and Lowell trade! Such a sickening way to treat us LOYAL fans! So, F-U Bruce

    Marlins don’t need to make any signings at all! No point in that now since Bruce and his Boytoy, Bentdicks Screwed everything up. Peter makes good trades on Trevor and Puk but gets TOTALLY SMOKED on Arraez, Jazz and even Delacruz! We literally got One mediocre Semi-star, AT BEST, catcher for the three! Nothing else except a Billy Hamilton wonder boy, 2 hitters who can barely hit .200 at best and some bench players that MAYBE will be, Alex Gonzalez, AT BEST, offensively! Literally that is it for a probable HOFer(Who gets ANOTHER batting title unlike any of the players he was traded for will ever SNIFF, let alone win!)A budding Superstar and a Guy(Bryan) ,who is the type of hitter that MOST of all the prospects we got back for Arraez, Jazz and Bryan will most likely be! So, How do those three trades make any sense?! Got absolutely robbed. Dummy Bentdick didn’t get a single true top prospect! How do we NOT get Merril or Salas for the new age Tony Gwynn? Dominguez or Spencer don’t come back for F’n Jazz? Delacruz gets a pitcher who is another Sixto Sanchez and some Nobody and not even a Jebb or Blanco/ Lonnie White ?! This is absolute trash and is why I’ve Boycotted this team for the first time ever in May 05 and will not watch nor spend a single cent til Bruce is gone from this earth, sells the team or SPENDS THE F’n MONEY he is getting on superstars!

    Of course, the Jackson post has some truth. I don't live in Miami, so I am a bit reticent here. The Marlins don't have an organic baseball fan base - many transplants bring their team loyalties with them. Thus, there is no visceral interest such as the Cubs have. Other reasons, of course, such as the park itself, location. Talked about it often. But fans, in big ways, propel a team, create a vibe, and define a team. A caveat: as an lifelong Expos fan and watching what just happened in Oakland, remember the adage ("you don't know what you have until...").

    • @luism8130
      @luism8130 Месяц назад

      Has nothing to do with any of that. South Florida is a baseball hotbed. The reason no one cares about the marlins is because the ownership treats the team and its fans as a cash register. Every time they start to build up support they fire sale, I was done with them after they got rid of Stanton,Yelich, etc. The second the marlins get a real owner that isn’t broke, the fans will be back. No one is supporting this clown that owns the team now. Also the ballpark is in a great location and the only positive thing the team has going for it.

    I'm a Minnesota guy who loves Arraez. Enjoyed your show a lot in 2023, but as you can understand, I moved on to the Padres this year. Initially I was a bit put off by a Brit doing a Marlins show, but you really grew on me. I think the Twins are a dumpster fire, but then I think of the Marlins, lol. Kim Ng should have been promoted, not demoted. Skip won manager of the year last year I think and after Kim left, he begged out of his option year, so I suspect he's now gone too. The idiots running the Twins kept their team in tact. If they had half a brain they would have hired both Kim and Skip. Don't know your reasons for leaving, but whatever they are, nobody can blame you. Baseball is a business, so I now pick players rather than teams and I just cheer for whatever team my favorite player is currently on. Hope you keep in the game even if it's not with that dumpster fire.

The band-aid had to get torn off. 2023 was a lucky band-aid. Not sustainable and devoid of farm depth. I'm sure the Kim Ng stuff was a reason early on but that kind of stuff can be mended. Not being on the same trajectory...now that's a deal breaker.

      @zenman1001 Well, that's true, of course. So, in that context, who are the top managers? Why? Is one of the Roberts, whose claim to fame is winning lots of RS games and a covidvall so-called "championship" with a billion-dollar team? Would Baker be one had the Astros not won it in 2022? Can you be a truly great manager without championships? After all, isn't that the point, supposedly? Or is "doing the best with what you have" enough?
