I agree with Allan that Otto Lopez seems to be worth a shot defensively at short. Dude is a wizard of a second baseman; if his glove is equally good at SS that defense will cover for any offensive issues.

I would love Adames but that's a pipe dream. Miggy Ro would be a mistake; he's due for regression next year anyway.
Between Sanoja and Serna I believe we have a couple of in-house options that may be the best options right now.

What sucks is all the guys the marlins have that are options none of them are true SS and project best at 2B hopefully they figure it out but it’s gonna be hard for all these guys to get roster spots next year especially if none of them play well at SS
