I use those packages of Martha White Yellow Cornbread mixes. I make a lot of dressing so I get 3 packages. Saute onions and celery in a lot of butter so much its swimming cause why not? Momma taught me to put in boiled eggs chopped, salt, pepper and plenty of sage and a carton of chocken broth.

Hi Just a tip for the beans , when sifting through the pinto beans put it on a cookie sheet to find the odd ones and little rocks. Its harder to find in a bowl. hope this helps

We started ahead and cooked the meat on Monday, today I'm cooking 2 large sides and deviled eggs. Tomorrow will only warm veggies and the desserts are all store bought. I take my help where I can get it😊.. I also made my Christmas Music Playlist over the weekend. My task tomorrow is warming the food and awaiting my family. At the end you were talking about cooking for a lot of people and I have heard some grandmas who say that all their grown kids and their kids come over expecting grandma to cook everything. People need to be fair and when I have parties with extended family like Xmas, then every family is expected to bring a plate or 2 plates of food.
