I started stockpiling can foods in 2018 after a hurricane hit our area & started stockpiling laundry & personal hygiene products in 2020 during COVID-19 , we raise chicken & ducks & use their eggs , the eggs cost more in the store here , Enjoyed watching your video ! 😊
Put the root ens, about 2” cut into a glass of water and after a few days, they will grow! Keep adding water to the glass ( change the water periodically) Then plant the roots into a pot with soil! I plant several roots in a large garden pot! If you have a veg garden, you can plant it in there! You will keep getting green onions during warmer months and I only buy green onions maybe 1 or 2 times a year! Good planting! ❤️ 7:56
Two of my favorite teas is lemon zinger and the other is a cinnamon tea it's called hot cinnamon sunset so good I love hot tea when it is cold. I have the green onions growing in the window seal . I love them and you can add cilantro to water and it will last a few extra days when I make salsa . I wonder if your kiddos would like taco spaghetti I found the recipe on Pinterest and it was really good. Good stock up I hope you have a good week.
@@sheliapeters2082 I may have tried lemon zinger a while back. Is it one of those immunity boosting teas? Cinnamon tea is delicious! I didn’t know that about cilantro. I just bought some so guess where they are about to go 😁 Have a great week as well😊
You did a great job with your haul. As far as Christmas dinner last year we did a pot roast and we'll probably do it again this year or something similar
I went grocery shopping on Sunday. My local shop rite had so much beef on sale that was fresh cut (7 in the morning!) I took full advantage! They also had canned vegetables for 50 cents and pepridge farm bread for $2.50.
Great job on building your stockpile the past few months to the point where you can now start rotating! 💪 And seems as though a lot of people stayed away during Black Friday. With online shopping now as big as it is? There's no reason to clog the highways or stores anymore. You're absolutely right that we have to start really preparing for the sadly inevitable price-hikes that are going to come in 2025. Double-whammy that a lot of transition is happening in the winter where you should have a small stockpile because of the unpredictability of the weather to boot. And sadly, egg prices are going to go up not just because of avian flu but because of labor and parts being more expensive. But small gains are what matters! Thanks for sharing as always!

Watch out read the labels bioengineered ingredients are in so many products. And Himalayan sea salt from what i found out is made out of petrified giant muscle fibers. The caves look just like muscle fibers. If you use seasalt use regular sea salt that you grind yourself or Celtic Sea salt which is more mineral rich.
@@AnnquinettaBerryhill-fp1ro Yes indeed! When I saw butane as one of the ingredients I was shocked! I would have never guessed that Himalayan salt had muscle fibers. The safest thing to do these days is to grow our own food.
I used to get Imperial because it was more affordable than real butter, but yeah, scary ingredients health wise. I get Kerry Gold all the time now because the taste is amazing. I get some slightly cheaper real butter for baking and cooking, but use the Kerry Gold in popcorn and on mashed potatoes or toast because it is so delicious! I figure I'll save money on other foods but will not compromise on cheese and butter. Gotta be Kerry Gold for butter and Tillimook cheese (their butter and ice cream is delicious too). Sometimes you just gotta splurge on the good things.
