Omg 2 minutes in and you’re doing all this juicing. So healthy! This is by far the best budget grocery haul I have ever seen.

My daughter loves mangoes, too. And cosmic crisp are my favorite … I am tripping that this is going to be something I can directly apply to my family to save money. Thank you so much for putting this together. I am in shock! :)

We always had a big garden growing up. Picking and shelling purple hull peas, corn, digging potatoes and cutting okra. Okra is my least favorite to get out of the garden because it itches but I love to eat fried okra. Even after I was grown mama would invite me over and she would make all kinds of vegetables and fresh onions and we would have bacon as the meat. I always liked to have some bread and butter pickles with my meal she cooked. I lost her when I was 31. You know Aldi still hasn’t opened in Bossier yet. Jan

Sorry to hear about your mom. Sounds like you had an awesome childhood! My dad picked the okra, so I missed out on the itchiness 😁 My favorite thing to pick was watermelon. We also used to go on the hunt for blackberries and raspberries every summer. It was an adventure going deep off into the woods. Crazy thing is we weren’t afraid of anything back then. Now, I can’t go outside without worrying about geckos and snakes😆 I wonder what’s taking so long with that Aldi? The one on Mansfield was packed when I was out there a few weeks ago.

Love your shirt and great job getting super close to 100 and getting some stock up meat 🙌. I have 5 kids and we live in Tennessee so we get taxed on groceries it’s a struggle but I’ve turned it into a game to stay on budget. And I reward myself with a tea from McDonald’s if I stay on budget that week after I’m done shopping 😅

Thanks! Right, like the grocery store version of the Price is Right😁 That’s a good idea to incorporate rewards! It’s good for motivation 😁 I’m definitely doing this when I go out this weekend 😁
