Excellent tag questions! I may do a video for this sometime soon.

@@TheSixthBeatle-p9k not really sure what you’re referring too.
@@PrettyGreenVinylGuy Ma$$y Maslof and his fakery concerning your vinyl tag
@@TheSixthBeatle-p9k oh ok! You’re one of those Vinyl Community conspiracy theorists. 170 Vinyl Tag responses as of today. So I guess most people are satisfied.
@@PrettyGreenVinylGuy Despite Maslof and Rachel's attempted thwarts. Good for you and your vinyl tag. I do not participate in questioinaires or rankings or lists, but you should be able do do a silly list of questions about Lps any time you want to without someone like Maslof telling everyone it is not valid.
This is a great video...this makes Maslof look like a rank amateur...his commentary is always so shallow, he underestimates his audience, you don't make that mistake here.

@@petecook5VIDCHANNEL1 great choice.
Damn! All these albums are amazing! Jellyfish!! Have their two albums on vinyl and live album plus an acoustic album and some 12". Love that band! Saw them twice in concert and they were amazing! Really wish they would have lasted longer. Andy Sturmer: wonderful drummer! The police! Stewart Copeland is amazing! Love The Police! Great video my friend! John Mayer Continuum! Great album as well.
Nice tag Ed, but too early! What happened about posting it in January first? Anyway, I enjoyed doing a response, and I manage to beat you by 10 seconds :)
I just dug my "Magical Mystery Tour" box set out with a Blu-Ray in it but alas, it's just the movie not the separate album. Discovered it had two 7" singles inside the book though which was a pleasant surprise. Personally I'd hate to try and rank the albums but "Please Please Me" has a special place in my heart.
Hi Edwin- Perfectly fair ranking of Beatles albums…no one’s going to agree with AnYoNe’S ranking (ever!) which makes this ranking true to you- and that’s great! 👍 For me Rubber Soul, Revolver and Abbey Road will always be my top 3 in no particular order. Well done, sir! 😎 Cheers-R

Hi Edwin, some honorable mentions in my opinion would be: Patrick Carney (The Black Keys) Ronnie Vannucci (The Killers) Reni (The Stone Roses) Will Champion (Coldplay) Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint) Topper Headon (The Clash) Chris Dangerous (The Hives) Don Blum (The Von Bondies) Tre Cool (Green Day)
There’s a couple on there that are essential. Topper Headon and Reni for sure. Love both!!
My nine choices in no particular order would be…. Supertramp ‘Breakfast in America’ (beautiful deep tones and drumming from Bob C Benberg) Tears For Fears ‘The Seeds of Love’ (various drummers but all great sounds especially Manu Katche on Badmans Song) Dave Brubeck Quartet ‘Time Out’ (Beautiful tasteful drumming from Joe Morello and the sweetest sounding kit ever) Rosanne Cash ‘Black Cadillac’ (Very organic sounding drums played a lot with brushes) Metallic ‘The Black Album’ (Lars best sound) Living Colour ‘ Vivid’ (Great drumming and great sounding drums) Richard Thompson Amnesia’ (Again various drummers but great sounds especially Micky Currys phased drums on Don’t Tempt Me & Jim Keltner on ‘I Still Dream’) Simple Minds ‘New Gold Dream 81,82,83,84 (Big 80s sound!) Finally Billy Joel’s ‘52nd Street’ Perhaps not the greatest drum sound ever but superb drumming from the brilliant Liberty Devitto. By the way I would have also picked the Jellyfish Spilt Milk (or Bellybutton) what a drum sound!
I almost picked Songs from the Big Chair. Bob Benberg is underrated. Supertramp has a great rhythm section. Thanks for your list!!
Metallica is the best Lars.
Hey, Edwin, fantastic video! Love the look of that Doors box set! All the best for 2025! 🙏

You have great taste in music. As someone who loathes prog rock it's great to find a channel promoting something other than prog rock! You got some great buys there.
@@SoundReviewsUK thank you. Just subbed you. Happy New Year!!
@@PrettyGreenVinylGuy Thanks. Happy New Year to you too. Unfortunately, there are delays to the launch of the channel as I'm trying to do something more complicated than a simple talking head so post production is taking a lot more time than anticipated and there have been technical issues around the use of DaVinci Resolve and its Magic Mask green screen feature. For me it's more important to get it right and produce something I'm happy with and is different to the rest, than to stick to the overly-optimistic date I'd hoped to be ready for. So please bear with me for content. There will be a proper launch of the channel before the end of the month. First full review, which may actually be before my Vinyl Tag which is turning into an hour long multimedia extravaganza, will be the new Franz Ferdinand album which is due to be released next Friday.

New to your space, but enjoying the last couple of videos l've watched. Love that your Pink Floyd disc still has a Pulse. I remember listening to that album over and over on repeat. I don't know how many moves that album survived over the years, but as each stereo set up progressed in each new living room, that red light always persevered. What a great album and a great channel!! 👊🏼
