Great pulls!! I TOTALLY agree with you about Violator. That is their Dark Side Of The Moon To Me. BV Social Club is an amazing album. Sonically it just feels like you right there with them. Amazing stuff. DMB, Withers, ....man, could not agree with you more. Awesome stuff!
Dude some incredible choices there some of my favourites Paul Weller Stanley Road, Noel Gallagher, Nirvana unplugged, DM Violator all brilliant albums. And a fellow triathlete too, so yes safe to say new subscriber here cheers! 😎
Thanks for including the Dave Matthews Band. That is my favorite album also. I hope you get a chance to see them live. I've seen them at least 50 times live. Never a bad show. I'll never forget when The Roots and Emmylou Harris were the opening act.
Hi Edwin nice to see your choices. I have that Noel Gallagher compilation 10/10. 👍I’m also enjoying council skies his new album . Stanley road ! Absolute classic 👍
With Music for The Masses, Depeche Mode came in their mature style, they 'xconverted the try'' with Violator. I recently discovered Paul Weller's solo career and i guess his work and contribution is very underrated. I'm glad our vinyl community shine the spotlight on him. Really nice selection Sir
Violator is such a good album! Got it on CD when it first came out and still listen to if often now. Nirvana's Unplugged is so good too - probably my 3rd fave record by them and one I listen to alot (at least certain tracks). Great picks! I did my thread response a week ago. Had more punk and metal choices in mine. Cheers!
Under the Table and Dreaming is the only studio album by that artist that I listen to. The live lps are by far, for me, the go to players. Violator is DM best album.
My list, no order, an album per artist. Pink Floyd - Dark side of the moon Dire Straits 1st album Television - Marquee Mon The Smiths - The Queen is Dead Waterboys - The whole of the moon Supertramp - Crisis? What Crisis? Don MacLean - American Pie Neutral Milk Hotel - In a aeroplane over the sea Steely Dan - Can't buy a thrill Jethro Tull- Songs from the wood The Chameleons - Strange Times Sufjan Stevens - Illinois Gang of Four - Entertainment! Peter Murphy - Deep Keith Jarrett - Koln Concert
Mmmmm… I just came Accros your channel. The only album I really knew that you mentioned was the Bob Dylan one. Great album. It’s a bit mystifying to me that no Beatles or even led Zepp albums were mentioned in your “go to “ albums. Dépêche mode? High flying birds?
Everybody's doing this lately. I liken this to--back in the 80's in high school--if I liked a girl, I would make her a "mixed tape" in hopes that I might influence her to like me back by virtue of the quality of my taste in music...not to mention adding songs with specific lyrics that revealed my true feelings for her. Is that what you're doing here, to an extent? Are you at some level at least, trying to be liked and respected, if not get laid? lol Nice choices, my friend. A couple of overlaps between us, and some interesting selections that I never would have thought of.. digging Stanley Road,,,
Good to see a PGVG video. Some unique picks there. Always chuckle when we say "good to see everybody" but we all understand.

So glad to see Cat Stevens Tea For The Tillerman. It's such a grossly underated album. Well done, great list!

Just good to change it up a bit. Abbey Road has been played a few thousand times I’m sure 😂
There's nothing on your list that's NOT at least pretty damned good, and some of your choices are nothing less than great. Cool list...
🤣
