Hey neighbor to the western north and vinyl friends. 2nd vid for me. Nice channel. Very eclectic unboxing. Awesome what’s out there. I’ve always sought after Canadian bands. A super clean Northern Pikes LP is one of my prized pulls. Eventually, I was able to get what was put out for 54-40 LP’s. And of course, until all the reissues, any “Hip” record I could ferret out…Keep ‘em spinning…🍻
Hi Edwyn. Nice to see you. Nice finds. Love Procol Harum... ASalty Dog is a masterpiece. That album alone helped me through my dad's stroke. He has recovered thankfully. Love Tin Machine. Like Ultravox. Will need to deep dive and discover and indulge more
Hi Edwin, that’s a real nice selection, thanks for sharing. I hadn’t seen that Elvis Costello comp before. Of the WB albums Spike is definitely my favourite, up there with his very early stuff IMHO. I still remember where I bought my copy. Our Price Records, Wembley, when it was first issued (1990 maybe?). I bought it along with New Roots, which was a real eclectic compilation of folky, bluesy, county’ish, world music/global stuff, everything from Steve Earl and Robert Cray to Edward II and the Red Hot Polkas to Enya and a Female Bulgarian Choir. Definitely worth checking out. Andy
Hi Edwin.. I’m more of a fan of early Costello but I’ve recently been listening to those later 80s albums and there’s a couple of gems on every album.. fan of the manics sounds like you picked it up for a decent price .. Eddie and the hot rods were decent quit this town is one I remember then I think they became the rods and had a hit with do anything you wanna do which is one of my favourite singles from 77 .. island records is also one of my favourite labels .. I’m on the look out for salty dog maybe I’ll find it one day 🤷🏼♂️nice update Edwin 👍
Yeah, you look pretty with those lovely locks of hair.
I don’t wanna hurt his feelings… But he’ll never be as pretty as that sexy little Marantz behind him… meow..😂🍻

Just listened to the EC this afternoon and it’s fantastic. Great sounding pressing and many songs I had forgotten.
Edwin, love that first Ultravox album. Budgie's not bad, either. The Procol Harum title track is pretty good. Thanks, Chris

I have that Black Country new road album. One of my favourite albums of last year.. it’s a acquired taste but that’s a good thing 👍
Thanks for commenting Rob. Loving the Eddy and the Hotrods!!
Nice posting. I know what you mean about Island Records. I've got the bug for original pink 'eye' and indeed pink 'i' labels.
