The English title of this song is introduced as "You Have To Be There". In the 1995 musical "Kristina From Duvemala," which deals with the history of Swedish immigration to the United States in the 19th century, the main character, Duvemala, faces many hardships in a foreign land and begins to doubt her faith in God, but still maintains her faith. The song was written, composed, and produced by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, known to us as members of Abba. In particular, Helen Sjöholm, who played the female protagonist Duvemala, is a very beloved singer and TV presenter in Sweden and worked extensively with Benny Andersson in the Benny Anderssons Orkester (BAO). As a devout Christian, her outstanding singing ability and appealing stage direction always give me the feeling of a Korean singer, Sohyang. I came across the immigration story of a Korean-American family visiting Osaka. A sabaton is the boot that medieval knights in armor would wear while on horseback. These boots were weaponized with spikes coming out from the toe area to impale enemies in the face as the rider passed by... That's their only use though, they were impossible to walk in.
