🇸🇪 WELCOME TO SWEDEN! 🇸🇪 "Välkommen till Sverige!" Tommy Johanssons performance is both fast, dramatic and energetic - a real viking. 💪 Did you know that this is actually the second time he did a cover of this song!
You know there was no vikings in north of Sweden. Although he looks like a pretty viking. Most vikings was from the stockholm area or the skåne area, danish vikings in those times.
@@Kent-m7d There was no vikings in the north? You taught me something new then! But it makes sense: People in the north and south of Sweden, are so genetically different from each other, that they could be from different countries! That genetic difference stems from a lot of Saami and Finnish DNA in the north and a lot of German DNA in the south. But we still are one!
Yep there was mostly sami people in the north thousand years ago and my viking heritage is probably danish or from when skåne was skåneland its own country.@@pernillaeriksson8594
I enjoyed watching the famous tv drama, the Viking during pandemic. I was little bit curious and confused to see that the stage was mainly played in the area of northern denmark, not Norway or Sweden. People here normally think that the Vikings are from Norway or Sweden. From your explanation, I think I got another views for that!! 😊
Good, the vikings were also from Iceland, but they have Norwegian ancestors but they were the first to find America around the year 1000, almost 500 years before Columbus, So the vikings were from Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland. Swe, Nor and Den can speak and understand each other but the Icelandic speak more closer to the old viking language, I can understand some words but not much.@@OnohaMingdong-LifeInOsaka
