Have been coming back to this ever since my brother showed me a clip at NAMM probably 15 years ago. Absolutely amazing stuff. If you want a more modern take checkout Tim Henson. Not exactly the same idea and he's extremely popular and not the same niche as Justin King. But his use of harmonics is similarly jaw dropping. I don't even know how to label these types of guitarists. Like fingerstyle but with a lot of percussion. It's the coolest thing though.

Are there tabs or notes somewhere or will I have to rewind this 1000 times?

I bought a 1981 L19 in 1985 and today it plays and sounds beautiful. It’s a testament to how well it was built.

Justin King made the composition that inspired many similar percussive acoustic guitarists but doesn't get the recognition or credit he deserves for being one of the post-Millennium artists who helped bring this style of guitar to the masses on the Internet. There are a lot of guitarists who play similar style but get credit for being more melodic or cleaner at playing even the similar composition and it just pisses me off. I remember I was in College in 2002 when I saw this video and being blown away and knew it was the future of acoustic guitar playing and kept hoping this guy would make it bigger but really haven't heard from him much since this video and his 'Knock on Wood' video from around the same era. Shame. People who think of this style of playing are probably more familiar with someone like Andy McKee for his song 'Drifting'. Now there are newer artists in this genre of playing like Marcin who take the flair up another level or two.

I know this sounds crazy but he stoled some of these guitar riffs from some Asian kid who would never show his face I remember saying that Asian kid play way before he said this was his new work does anyone remember that Asian kid who never showed his face tap'd like that
