hey check out my favourites and find the user named Vaughanabe13. He's got a pretty good knock on wood video tutorial in 4 parts (or 3 parts, i forget :$) and I guess that would be a good place to start on if you don't plan on doing it by ear :D

yes its in dadgad but in this vid its tuned half a step down...no idea why
all you gotta know is its tuned in dadgad and its not that bad to figure by ear... given you have some musical aptitude
