I don't see the issue with Marissa's energy/ bubbly personality. I know genuinely happy people who don't display high energy when they are sick. Is there something else that I am missing?

Tyler "the Creator" is a liar and I don't think there is a genuine bone in his body. I think he wanted to be the next Brett and Tiffany. I don't think the love is real for him. He's looking for a come up. Tyler said in an interview with the Vail Files that he started a new business. I wonder if Ashley helped him fund that business? Also, I never thought I'd be disappointed to see a black woman get married. This is so embarrassing for Ashley.

First wanted to say I love your platforms 😊❤. I feel like I'm talking to my girlfriends. You guys always make thoughtful points and have so much grace while doing it. I agreed with almost everything you both said. I wanted to elaborate on Ramses' section. I also believe he hoodwinked her. Marissa has some accountability in allowing it because she didn't see the signs of where they didn't align (or thought that they could overcome them). He used the progressive man who is a feminist to his advantage. It's like the saying where Malcolm X says that white liberals can be more harmful to black people because they want the same power as a conservative but mastered the art of being our friend and gaining our support… I believe that's the same as a progressive man that wants the same benefits and power as a traditional man but they pose as an ally. Just as a liberal can be racist a progressive man can just be as misogynistic. Remember when he told her he wouldn't mind being a stay-at-home dad. I could see why she would think that she has an equal who would help in the mental labor of rearing a child and why that would translate into helping in other traditionally female roles. However, Ramses seems like he wouldn't want to let go of his male privilege in society but would be the man who wouldn't mind being with a woman who is a breadwinner. So essentially she would become the provider and the person doing most of the domestic labor as time goes by.

Ramses never had any intentions of getting married. He got some sex out of the situation, then at the last possible moment came up with whatever excuse he could find to get out of it.

I saw a video with the kids where they call him dad. And it sounded on Bri that the grandmother was involved. The kids would call him dad in all situations, including when the grandmother was there

Ramses should not have gone on the show having such hesitant on getting married within 2-3 weeks when that is the premise of the show. He also should not have matched with her knowing she has a bubbly high energy personality. She should have matched with the other guy that liked her.

Tyler's mom knew because she was calling them kids her grandchildren on her facebook, but she scrubbed it clean like tyler did before the show aired.

Taylor’s dress she chose during the fitting was indeed full length. I also didn’t care for the shorter length she ultimately chose but it was okay.

I don’t know why everybody is acting like Marissa wasn’t a lot. She gave me anxiety just watching her on the screen and from seeing her mom they all need therapy and I think her relationship with her mom has really affected her. Marissa is very high strung and needs to work on that if she wants to be in a relationship. Ramses isn’t perfect but I’m so glad he called it off

It was painful to watch that scene with Marissa. I was yelling "just stop begging him!!!!" 🫣😞oh! I hated that. My heart breaks for her.

I LOVED Ashley's dress, she was gorgeous! My heart was breaking the whole time knowing all the info we know now. I didn't remember Taylor's dress being short either?? I didn't like it at all, but I like them together and think they will be a great couple

Thank You for having a mature POV...I really can't stand when some women just hate on the man ...call him all types of abuser, gaslighter, narcissist for simply not wanting to be with the girl you were rooting for...I personally don't see anything wrong with what Rams said.... Relationships break down all the time ..it's simply a part of life ...But I think ur ability to give him the benefit of the don't, versus just dragging him is the difference between someone watching this through a healed heart. ..and someone watching this whose still angry hurt and projecting.

I totally agree about the comment about people sharing information about their appearance. It really bothers me because it defeats the whole purpose of dating blind. Didn't care for Garrett's reaction to Taylor not wanting to disclose her race. And don't get me started with Stephan and Monica

There was a video on Instagram where one of the twin girls was calling Tyler dad, so no, they don't think he's just their uncle.

Let’s be honest-she was in lust, and it clouded her judgment. Once that oxytocin kicked in, she ignored a lot of real red flags in the relationship. If Marissa continues dating Ramses without the physical aspect, there might be hope for them. But I doubt he’d ever agree to that, so it’s probably a moot point.

I’m thinking Marissa is not being herself completely in the beginning. Then when the real her shows up it might be a turn off.

In my opinion she’s like high energy lots of love and then too low and not wanting anything (I sense that not saying in right) but she really is a great girl, it broke my heart for her

Hannah went on an apology tour on the Viall podcast. She said she watched herself and realized she needed to change her personality for the better. She accepted that she came off very harsh and wants to be a better person. She also looked like she slimmed down and has a great new more blonde hair color.

These men just came on the show for some booty....there should be a no booty rule till marriage

I absolutely love Marissa and was just admiring her beauty inside and out yesterday. I watched the episode this morning and wanted to pull off my earrings for Ramses. Her spirit is so beautiful, she still got up and hugged that fool. I would never want to see him again!!!!

Reading her interview with glamour just makes me question if he ever truly even liked her. Forget love😕 The only kindness he ever did was break up with her and it was more for him then her. Other things that make me doubt he ever even liked her are that she mentions he didn’t even want to date her. I get anxieties about a huge commitment like marriage, but if you ever even cared about someone you’d at least want them to be apart of your life. I take back what I said, he’s as terrible as Tyler in my eyes😭 That interview blew me. I did not think he could sink lower in my eyes. ETA: I wish she could skip the reunion because she needs to have absolutely no contact with him ever again😵‍💫

I know the producers struck gold, but watching Marissa‘s devastation in real time was not only uncomfortable but it was painful. It lasted a little too long for my comfort. She definitely loved Ramses more than he loved her & her love was forcing her to be blind on certain aspects that showed them to be incompatible (religion, military, sex, etc) . I truly felt bad for her. Ashley decided to tear all the red flags down and make a damn dress smh well, it’s her life not mine lol Taylor and Garrett were set from the beginning so congratulations to them!!

Ramses is disingenuous to the core.. I don't believe he ever had any intentions of marrying whomever he was partnered with. Marissa should cut all contact with this man, charge this experience to the game and learn to be less enamored with the fairytale fantasy.

I was eating a sandwich while watching the Marissa Ramses scene and felt so bad that they were showing us her breaking down. It seemed so intimate and raw and here I am eating my stupid sandwich. Also Ramses is a selfish and disingenuous person.

Question: Do you believe the martial relationship is paramount to the parent/child relationship? Many religions prize the husband/wife union over the role of parent. (The reason I have limited the question to male/female is because they can create a child inside the marriage that is a product of them both). It just feels like Tyler may value husbandhood more.

This episode could've been a footnote.. I like Ashley and want to believe that she will cut her losses following these revelations about Tyler. However, based on the comments she's made on the show, I think she's going to "stick beside him".

I find it very telling that the first time we see Tyler’s family is at the wedding. Why didn’t we get scenes of Ashley meeting them like he met her parents? Is it because they didn’t want to be put on the spot about the kids?🤔

Rams is not for her. She will find her person. There’s something missing from the story though, but he was not ready for marriage.

My heart broke for Marissa during her breakdown 💔 Although I have been trying to give Ashley some grace, the conversations she had this episode showed me she low-key married her dad 😔

Transparent? Ramses was the most disingenuous, talk around in circles, fake spiritual, deceitful empathy clown. The smartest thing that Marissa ever said was that he should have never been on the show, and that is 💯. He knows exactly what love is blind shows premise is and should have had all that divorce-searching bs beforehand.

I just found you ladies this season and I have really enjoyed your recaps/break downs. This episode was a bust for me. Knowing all the outside stuff about Tyler from the lives of the other women in his life just ruined it for me. It’s just coming too fresh off the heels of that info.
