Are we gonna talk about how Max (the groom) overreacted? I think he is a red flag. He’s complaining about not being financially stable to have a child as if he didn’t take part in creating it. And the bride didn’t try to tell everyone, they found out accidentally
Story 1: I was with OP from the jump. The way she phrased her post led me to believe 1-she cared about her friend Daisy and 2-she knew something more about Daisy's fiancé's reaction that Daisy herself may've been in denial about or simply ignorant to. I don't doubt that Daisy's intention for sharing the pregnancy news was good...27 isn't that old...I'm 30 and have found myself discussing with friends how to navigate some of these tricky conversations surrounding relationships and whether or not to give advice, speak up, etc. Either way though, looks like that situation worked itself out. They probably needed to scale back on the wedding to prepare for that baby anyway!
I think she knew before that and she tried to hibt things at him and he told her that their weren't financially ready and she decided to keep it a secret until they got married so he couldn't do anything about it since she would be able to get an abortion.
A wedding AND a baby ??? In this economy??? Ouuu she brave. At least now, she knows her best friend is a real one. Her insight turned out to be correct, and that's always good to have someone bring you a different point of view, even if it gets you in your feelings at the moment. Edit to add: Second story it's clear to me the mom didn't agree with the daughter's lifestyle, played nice to get back in her good graces and when the daughter set her boundaries the mother true feelings poured out hence the "yes it was that bad" I just know she was calling them all types of slurs up in here.

This sounds like immaturity on behalf of the young lady who was getting married and pregnant. The young lady that told her boyfriend felt the same way the other girl did and knew her boyfriend would tell the groom. I don’t think it was time for them to get married if you’re not mature enough to discuss lifetime decisions.

First one: OP is the A. It's not a secret it's a surprise. If they weren't using protection then of course there was going to be a possibility of her becoming pregnant. But telling others and still keeping a secret from the fiance was a choice
