I commented on the 2004 FS65. My first bus I thought was the 2004, mine was the 2007.

That was my first bus. Loved it! It was a Tank!

I had an older style Thomas with air brakes. I'm getting ready to go into a new Thomas, but not sure yet if it has the tank drain, which I am not familiar with. Can you explain how to do the tank drain when doing air brake check/test? I'm used to just getting in , starting the bus, letting it come up to normal pressure, and then turning bus off, then to on (not running), stepping on brake at the same time pushing parking brake knob in and waiting to see if there is 3psi air loss, then pumping down the brakes until indicator light comes on, then until parking brake knob pops out. Then throwing it in high idle. Can you please do a video and explain how to do the tank drain in full please?

I used to ride what was baiscally a circa 1992 full size version of this bus. It even had a wheelchar lift. It had that front door paired with a manual control. When the bus was stopped on even the slightest downhill grade, the driver had a time trying to close that door. I think that hinge at the 3/4 ish point of the door made it harder to close.

Can you add the bus reversed sound to I love the reversed sounds on these exact busses

I have seen Thomas hdx buses used to see them in my old school district adoms 12 schools in Colorado now I’m in Boulder valley school district they don’t have any hex’s but they are really cool like how you had the train in the back round of that video right by an active train track

Ah yes the 65s. I had to drive one while my c2 was out because the mechanic killed my battery after replacing something else by leaving my bus on.

I want to say this is not an M2 chassis but its actually an S2C chassis due to the hydraulic service brakes and lack of a second air tank gauge on the cluster as well as the lack of a "normal passenger side door that matches the driver door" on the passenger side instead its only a bus door. The m2 has the traditional bus door and the latched passenger front seat door as well. The s2c only has the "bus door" for passenger entry. If the GVWR on the driver door sticker is 26,000 or less its most certainly an S2C bus not an M2. An M2 would show a sticker with a GVWR of 26,001 or more.
