I'm a bus fan I love how you just don't show the bus but you have humor and joy and you actually explain how every thing works stop sing 8 way flashers doors roof hatches cameras crossing gates
It’s funny to see how our states boarder and how the equipment mandates are different. The first one of my district’s 3 brand new are being delivered Monday!
They’ve been getting the DD5 and Mobileye since they came out here. No LED headlights though which I don’t know why… But that’s all that we have been getting, C2s. Not complaining because they are great, I prefer them over IC. We only get Bluebird Visions as handy buses now. I like the video, I noticed that the first 22 has a new crossing arm as well.
I had an older style Thomas with air brakes. I'm getting ready to go into a new Thomas, but not sure yet if it has the tank drain, which I am not familiar with. Can you explain how to do the tank drain when doing air brake check/test? I'm used to just getting in , starting the bus, letting it come up to normal pressure, and then turning bus off, then to on (not running), stepping on brake at the same time pushing parking brake knob in and waiting to see if there is 3psi air loss, then pumping down the brakes until indicator light comes on, then until parking brake knob pops out. Then throwing it in high idle. Can you please do a video and explain how to do the tank drain in full please?
When you get a chance could you film that mini bus next to the 2022 C2 I believe it looks like it’s a Thomas minitour but I still love mini buses in general!
Yes, that last bus is beautiful, but you'd think if old man Rohrer was gonna put all those options on it, he'd at least spec it with air conditioning. It's all about image for him.
Quick question, I live around the Rohrer lot area. Do you guys mind people walking the bus lot to see the buses, take reference pictures, and stuff of that sort during the day? Thanks in advance!
I wish my district bought new C2s. We only have 2015’s . I assume after 2015 we got a new transportation director or something who’s interested in ic product only.
Hi! I Do Have A Bus Idea! 1. IC CE Flat Nose 2. Bluebird Flat Nose I dont know if you have these but if any roll in i think it would be cool to see them!!!
@@CMLayton88 Huh, the buses I ride on in the Wichita Falls Independent School District have seatbelts, Most of them are 2014 Saf-T-Liner C2's like these ones. I see why your buses don't have seatbelts. Nobody wears them...
@@CMLayton88 ok, I drive 2007 c2 and it stinks. No cup holders, transmission skips horribly and no pick up on the hwy. Instead of the three way door switch we have a three way switch that has Amber's on bottom and reds on top, and off in the middle, then a one way door switch. 319,000 miles on it.
So there are very minimal changes usually. The most recent was with the 2020 C2s when they changed the marker lights and side turn signals to very small circles almost like Bluebird buses. I personally didn’t like that. Also the newer ones that have Detroit engines have the badges on the side of the hood. Other than that there are usually very few changes.
I believe it is an optional feature. I have not seen a C2 yet with manual, but I have heard that you can get them like that. Then the 8-way light controls and door control move to the center console by the parking brake to make it easier to access when shifting.
So some buses to get seatbelts installed as options, however, it has been proven in research that in case of an emergency, such as a bus being on fire, seatbelts could potentially cause more injuries or death. You have one driver with potentially 70+ kids buckled in. Some times seatbelts lock up and not all kids could get them selves unbuckled in time and escape before fire could spread and the driver might not be able to cut all necessary seatbelts in time. I do think seatbelts are a great safety item, however, the seats in modern buses have been designed to act kind of like an egg carton in a way. They’re staggered to prevent falling into the aisle or hitting others in an emergency, and the seats are higher now to also protect from injuries in a forward collision. I believe there are some videos out there that show the seatbelt situation and how the seats are protective. Pretty neat overall.
Some states require it, but Pennsylvania does not. We do have a few buses that we have gotten from other areas that have Master Switches and Red overrides, but most do not.

such a beautiful bus, it feels so open, so bright.
Wow the LED bus has the strobing eight ways on it. I have never seen a bus with the strobing eight ways. The LED bus looks very rare.

Definitely my favorite bus.
This is almost my dream bus it would be if it had black trim white roof and chrome wheels oh they look so cool
I love all of the buses you featured!
When are you going to get a new video of a 2023 Saf-T-Liner C2?
2022 c2 with no air for the kids harsh..
That’s what I noticed as well! It looks like it does have dash a/c but that’s not going to do much for the whole bus.
These are the best bus videos out there
Thank you!!!
@@CMLayton88 when are you going to upload more us videos? I miss them.
Just perfect another saf t liner
Those are nice buses 🚌
I hope you do a video on the 2022 minotour!
I believe you can also get one of these in the handicap variant as well

Funny how they don’t have led headlights considering it’s a 2022
Nice buses, but I still prefer the Cummins 6.7 L engine. And the reason I say that it's just because that engine has proven its reliability
Favorite school bus model? Mine is the Blue Bird Vision
Mine is the FS65! Now the C2.
You should use the light on tope of the bus that be cool to see

Bus 5 to Bus 1
IC CE's, IC RE, Thomas C2, EFX, HDX, Blue Bird Vision, All American FE and RE.
Brand new, obviously.
Please film long way because then we can see more of the bus.
Cool!!
Nice bus! Is this one of many 22’s Rohrer ordered?
Correct! They have most of the fleet already labeled. These were a few more recently delivered.

Dude where are ur new VIDEOS?
Sad to see they’re doing away with cummins
Will you do an update on the prison bus and a video on the 2022 minotaur?

Does the C2 accelerate quickly with a DD5? How does it do on hills? And noise while driving?
To Me the C2S are very loud when i drive em. But do they accrelate fast in my opinion

Brand new! Nice!
Is there by chance they have seat belts?
I can see if we have any. Most of ours do not have seatbelts other than buses used for special needs bus runs.
