As long as you find a case and face that matches the size of the quartz movement you choose, it should be exactly the same.

If you're not gaming at all, I'd get a used M1/M1Pro with 16gb of RAM. If you plan to game at all I'd get the Asus

@kyle_munoz thanks for reply , I think I should go with Asus because 16 gigs macbook pro M1 isn't available anywhere only 8 gigs 😅. And Asus will be future proof for me

You should be able to just follow the steps I showed in this video to grade your footage. The only steps that would be needed before the lut would be correcting from a different picture profile, which you don’t need.

are you shooting your footage in LOG or regular? If you're shooting in LOG you have to correct your footage to REC709 before you do this process. I have a video about it if you need any help

I agree, they should adjust the release dates to allow for that. But to be fair lens manufacturers have to adjust to Sony's camera body firmware updates too. So I think it's still a good option to have rather than risking a Sony firmware update potentially rendering your lens useless.

yup! Aperture priority with auto ISO is the way to go. then adjust with the exposure comp dial at the top. Has been working great for me so far

Yessir! If you don’t feel the need to color correct I believe you could go straight from your BMPCC log to Cineon, but I’d always recommend leaving that extra rec709 step just in case you want to correct your footage before applying the lut 🤙

Glad I could help! To be honest I haven’t messed around with tagging too much but for export settings I usually follow youtube’s recommended bitrate for whatever resolution my video is being exported at, as well as making sure I export in the rec709-a color space. Haven’t had any issues with color shifts yet 👍

If you paid attention, I already mentioned that I tried undervolting and temps still were very high. The cooler is the biggest one I could find that fits in this case except for the one that came out after I had already gotten rid of it. I made this problem out to be as big as it was in reality for me. The case was too hot and didn’t have enough proper ventilation for my use so i made a video letting people know that if they also had this issue too, they’re not alone

Do you mean going into the timeline settings and making a custom timeline resolution? Like changing the whole video output from 16:9 to 2.35:1?

@@kyle_munoz No I guess I called it the wrong thing its the same steps but output banking instead of aspect ratio at the bottom of the timeline dropdown menu in the edit page. edit page--> timeline--> outputbanking
