There were a lot of breakdowns in the mechanical shark so we saw very little of it. Like Alien not knowing when it would pop up made it more scary!

Yes there are women in all branches of the military: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines. And also the Coast Guard. But generally speaking, back then (1900-2002?) women were not in a combat role. Now you can be if you want to. There is a very cool video about an Air Force pilot, female, whos A-10 Warthog (a fighter plane with missiles and such) was hit multiple times with ground fire, rockets, etc.. the plane was a total wreck but she kept it flying long enough to make it back to the base. There were literally pieces of wing and tail piece missing. Long live the Warthog and their pilots.

Geez And how Gen z and hippie type people don't realize it that's normal for basic training to have drill instructors, fun fact most people that make it in the military successfully are high schoolers that have played in some kind of sport like baseball wrestling or football.

Talia Shire is still alive She was originally going to be in the movie but she and Stallone felt Rocky needed a great loss for the script to work and agreed that Adrian would die. They had her die off screen because they didnt think the audience could recover from seeing that. She had already cleared her schedule to do the movie when they made that decision and Stallone made sure that she got her full pay for the archive footage. Talia did press for the movie and made it clear that she was supportive

One of the funniest lines in this to me always goes so unnoticed cuz of the tension in the scene, but when he asks Joker "why are you not stomping Pvt. Pyle's guts out?!" kills me

My grandpa was the enemy but was a fighter pilot and lost his carrier the Shokaku in the Phillippine Sea during this war he was airborne wheh it sank he was later rescued and taken prisoner. He didn't believe in suicide like many did. In fact most didn’t or didn’t want to. The creator of the A6M Zero cried when he found out kids as young 17 ramming his planes into American navy ships. They used their planes like a cruise missile. Kamikaze or 'devine wind' but it was barbaric. Many japanese today still stay away from this subject. Its unfortunate.

Rocky was a point where he was losing everything and everyone around him. Mick, adrian, apollo. Rocky jr was being distant. Micks gym was crumbling, the pet shop he met adrian at and the place he took her on her first date were gone. Him being nice to little marie was just him trying to hold on to or save/protect what little he had left of his past.

Can't tell you how much I'm enjoying your reactions to the Rocky movies. So thankful I came across your first reaction to Rocky. Watching you gush over the love scenes and trying to keep your voice down while losing your mind during the fight scenes for the sake of your baby and everybody else sleeping... Hilarious and priceless. Needless to say I subscribed and now, I can't believe it, but I am binging on your reactions and am about to sit down with dinner and watch you watch Rocky 3 on my big screen at home lol. Sylvester Stallone Directed Rock 2,3,4. John G. Avildsen directed Rocky 1 and Rocky 5 but to be clear Stallone was also a Writer for Rocky Series but Rocky 5 had a lot of Writers and it lost the direction of what Rocky was really about 🤷🏾‍♂️

For me it was fascinating to see Rocky evolve as a character and to see how he handled the hard knocks that we all have to deal with in life. Also I loved the speeches that he gave in this last movie. And I 100 percent agree that you have to be able to take the hard hits and keep moving forward because we are all going to get hit by life. Rocky and Sylvester Stallone are very inspirational and positive influences.

I heard that Talia Shire declined to be in the movie. I'm not sure what her reason was.

I ended up loving the character of Apollo Creed. Carl Weathers was born to play that character. May he rest in peace and Burt Young (Pauly) as well.
