This is pretty much the toughest episode to watch for almost everyone...but it is good that you made it through it.
Only because I did not see anyone else comment on it, many of the men who went out onto those incredibly radioactive roof sections actually volunteered to go back out more than once in order to save others from having to be "biorobots". Also, that huge revelation that the Soviet State knew about the fatal flaw in the shutdown system and both covered it up and did nothing to fix it, all the while lying to even the plant operators about the safety of the RBMK reactors, is something that could only happen in a totalitarian state like the USSR.✌💯🖖

Another painful episode. Recently there was a study done on the feral dogs that got away...their descendants still live, but they are studying the effects of radiation on them now.
The idea that the baby absorbed the radiation and hence saved the mother is not scientifically correct. What happened is both the mother and baby absorbed the radiation. But since the baby was actively growing, it was more susceptible. Odd analogy but it is like radiation therapy for cancer. The fast growing cells of a tumor are far more impacted by the radiation than the normal cells because they don't have time to repair the damage to the DNA. I even did a study on this showing different repair mechanisms were used in the tumor than in the normal cells, making them unable to survive the level of damage. The baby didn't save the mother. The mother just was less impacted by the radiation because her cells mostly were not dividing.

The part where they were dumping the dead animals into the pit was originally even worse. They cut a scene where they saw a puppy that was still alive in the pile of dead animals and tried to shoot it, but realized they were out of ammo so had no choice but to just watch the puppy get buried alive inside the concrete

I really would love to see you do a reaction to the (1979) movie The Jerk starring Steve Martin and Bernadette Peters and please react to how dirty Navin gets in the movie and also could you also do a reaction to the (1977) movie Pumping Iron Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger who was a Bodybuilder you could also call Arnold a hunk look at his Big Muscles and drool with delight.
