You know a game is gonna be good when its made in the house of the lead developer in one long beer infused ever going lan.

A good dungeon keeper like game is called Dungeons (and Dungeons 2 and 3).

DK got completely stuck in development hell and was pretty much expected to fail on every level before release, but it turned out to be amazing and a smash hit. I know only of a few examples where the end result of such a stuck project turned out well, I guess Warcraft 3 would be another..

Thank you for giving some insight about the game I loved as a child. I haven't played the first game, but the 2nd one is something I grew up on and loved. The War for the Overworld was great as well.

in so many cases(not just video games) the creators put out uninspired products that just aren't good enough or actually proper trash. love that a team of people who cared about the end result and were passionate about it, really put in the effort to put out a good product. kudos.

This whole entire in-depth documentary on Crash Bandicoot by Naughty Dog is nothing short of being absolutely brilliant! I love the whole thing from start to finish, and I would love to see a documentary like this on the PS1 Spyro the Dragon trilogy from Insomniac Games.

This is low key one of my favorite games of all time. The story sucked me in and the world felt alive for the time it came out.

Here in 2024 with the 20th anniversary remaster. It was pretty great. I first played BGaE with the hd remaster in 2012 - which was also excellent I thought.

I took a dog sitting job at age 10 just so I could pinch the customers copy of the Sims to take home to burn a copy of lol. No Sims title quite scratched that itch quite like the first sims

I'm going through some stuff right now. I needed this to distract myself. I loved these games a child. Bought the remaster and got my ass handed to me haha. Still, so many memories as a kiddo playing these games for hours. Freaking out when i rolled the credits and would run to tell my dad. Happy memories. This video was also very informative. I learned so much I never knew about Crash. Particularly liked hearing about all the little programming hacks they used. So cool. Thank you for your hard working making this video. I know it might sound corny, but it really helped me out.
