If you enjoyed this video, please help share it on reddit, twitter, etc. so that more people can check it out (it helps a lot!) Your presentation style is so mellow, and the depth of your research is really commendable; it brings the human element of game development and design, and that's not a topic that's ever really interested me. I loved Croc as a kid so it was especially exciting seeing this one! Well done as always.
So do I, but the algorithm often needs a little nudge to get the ball rolling. If a video is shared to places like reddit, discord, twitter, etc. and gains traction, that often helps. The reason why my Rayman video has the highest amount of views on this channel is precisely for that reason. It was shared a bunch on reddit and then RUclips actually began promoting it.
My first video game! I loved it so much but couldn’t remember its name. This was a wonderful trip down memory lane. I’ve left a tip to show my support since RUclips isn’t giving you the recognition you deserve yet. Keep up this excellent work.
Rhubarb: "And came up with a tough-looking, gun-wielding crocodile with a single fang. Inspired by his cat at the time, that also had-" My sleep deprived brain: "... a gun."
The RUclips algorithm blessed me with your videos and I'm both surprised, and disappointed, at how little views you get for such high quality videos! Keep it up Rhubarb, hopefully the algorithm will continue to be favourable to you 😅
Man croc 2 has a special place in my heart. So nostalgic to see gameplay of it. Keep up the good work!. Your videos are really well researched and presented!
You are making some very high quality documentaries, my friend! I really enjoy learning so much about the developmental history of some beloved classic games and I hope you continue this fabulous series! ✨
I wonder what you’re going to do next! Also, I can’t believe that Jen San, founder of Argonaut, has the rights to Croc and is making Croc HD! How long until he shows us what he’s made so far? One more thing; since YOU don’t know what you want to do next, then can I offer you some suggestions? Tak and the Power of Juju, or the Mark of Kri and arise of the Kasai! Also, thanks for responding to my message so quickly!
Just a little correction, as far as i know Argonaut only worked on harry Potter games on ps1. When you showed footage of harry potter and the chamber of secrets on ps2 it was made by Eurocom.
You are correct, yes. I used PS2 footage simply because it looked better, but I should have clarified that in the video. This is something I'll be more careful with going forward.
So much love went into this game. I remember loving every minute of it and just wanting to play and play. I loved Croc more than Crash, and WAY more than any Mario title.
Great video :D I recieved Croc on PC when I was a kid, and I still own the huge box it came in, haha... I remember how amazed I was when I found out that you could listen to the soundtrack straight from the cd-rom.
I have the same question I had back at the launch of Croc 1. What happened to the Saturn version? It was so different from every other version, with different menus, sprites, and even Croc’s size.
Mate I love ur videos sm !!!! Love ur voice and they’re such amazing quality!! You’re so underrated!!! I found u from ur theme hospital vid then I saw a croc one, a rayman one, a rollercoaster tycoon vid a sims one, games from my childhood !!! Thank you for your kind words - it means a lot! I'm hoping to have my next documentary out sometime next month. It's 2 hours long so it's taking a while to finish, but I'm slowly getting there!

Your research for these old gem games is unmatched! Ty

The production quality of these videos are great! I hope you make it big, man. Keep it up :)
Fab video! Love your commentary.
I love Croc, he was my favourite game character as a child 🥰
I hope the RUclips algorithm notices your videos.

@@ReliableRhubarb yes, I think I got that you used it for that. But otherwise, your video was really good!
How on earth do your videos have less than 100k views. This is such good quality.

On this day, the algorithm has blessed me with excellent late night nerd content for bedtime.
Whose excited for croc hd remastered?!

Now that Argonaut Games has returned, have you shown this video to them on their social media platforms yet?

I always found Croc more fun and cool than Spyro.
